I've started titling my LFGs "Know all roles" and before I start I got through each person individually to see if anyone is unsure about anything. Not looking to kick people who are unsure, just looking to clear up any of their mechanic uncertainty. Because usually, anyone who is unsure, at least knows a decent amount, they just need a bit of clarity.
I've been saying this. I can run every encounter so I usually end up doing them. But when I'm on add clear, we tend to get through the raid quicker. RON mechanics are easier than doing amazing add clear (like, deleting adds the second they spawn), people just don't want to learn mechanics.
I was genuinely surprise by how MUCH easier Macrocosm master challenge became after swapping places with an add clear: my fireteam was struggling killing ads (yeah, the psion gang...) and the champions, there were always 20 or so enemies on the map at all times. After 20+ tries i decided to swap places with an add clear, and equipped my best CC loadout (arclock + forberance)... we got it after 3 tries, there were almost no enemies and i was both managing the boss and all the adds, from both sides. you don't realize how bad (most) people are at managing priorities and killing ads until you actually try for yourself. A good add clear is an absolute necessity in true end-game content (Master raids/low mans/ecc) and makes the life of your team WAY easier. But of course people think that they can run their double primary triple kinetic targeting loadouts and be fine because "it's just add clear, it's easy!".
To be fair, i'd love to learn how to run the balls in the raid, but at this point it feels like I'd be holding our lfg group back by trying to. I got to learn how to do planets, and I tend to bait nezarec at last encounter, but I am just too nervous for the life of me to ask people in lfg if I can try running for once to remember the right pathing I know I will fail a few times, and I don't want to waste people's time :(
I'd consider adding in Telesto for an ad clear role. It firing delayed explosive bolts makes it a Jack-of-all-Trades for both ads and beefier single targets, on top of auto-reloading all equipped weapons on multikills and a Catalyst to increase mag size from 4 -> 7 for better sustained fire.
I’ve been in lfg groups that join Kwtd and clearly don’t. It’s frustrating to be doing an encounter and have ads almost killing me because my ad clear team isn’t in position to do their only job. Thank you for this Datto. If it changes a few people’s gameplay it’s worth it
Hard raid content is dead, but rather than bemoan its loss further, Datto is taking it upon himself to improve the community's skill and get us ready for when it comes back. Exactly the right lesson, Datto!
Thank you for this one! I'm always delegated to add-clear because my low skill level, and "shoot things" seems like the most people like to let me do. I also really like to just shoot things, so I'm happy to take the role. My strategy is lacking though, so I really appreciate having more direction so i can be more effective at supporting my team.
I always try to at least have 1 person who hasn’t done the raid learn some of mechanics, because I believe that learning mechanics will help future raids and encourage players to do more raids
Another option to add. Trace rifles with incandescent. Bit more ammo friendly than a wave frame, and they provide that double special benefit of more ammo drops can pair with subsistence (retraced path) or rewind rounds (acasia's embrace) to redure reload needs. Havent tested volt shot with Path of Least Resistance, and if we ever get a trace with destabilizing rounds, it will be a good thing to have
Def agree. Hollow denial is another great trace rifle option. Craft it with lead from gold and replusor brace for a great time. You can get a void overshield even when not on a void subclass. Then double special with this means more heavy bricks, which then gives hollow denial ammo too.
This raid has some of the easiest mechanics to the point where I think your weaker players need to do the mechanics and the stronger players need to be on add clear. 90% of anything that goes south in this raid is due to adds not dying fast enough because your add clear people are dying, costing revives, and the adds not dying are killing the players focusing on the mechanics (that really only applies to master because adds can’t kill players doing mechanics on normal).
That definitely checks out with my experiences on LFG. I’ve noticed, for example, that the people in two north triangles in Macrocosm can potentially have a hard time switching planets cause the middle zone can be *particularly spicy* if the folks on add clear are being milquetoast about it. Of course, the dudes running from side to side can still make it regardless, but I’ve definitely seen more deaths come from that side of the room.
@@JJMomoida that is probably the best example, because especially on master, going from top to top, it’s much more add dense where as the bottom feels generally safe. I’m typically going from top to top so I know that the relentless adds combined with the boss can result in death pretty frequently while transporting planets and that could all be mitigated with better add clear.
I can’t wait for next season. As much as I love add-clearing with void/solar/strand, I’m looking forward to bringing arcstrider and whatever busted arc-related mods we get in the artifact into RoN.
I mean... you can just use arc. I have a few times this season. Jolt is, unsurprisingly, still incredible. I don't even have anything related to solar unlocked on my artifact, though I still use solar a lot. Don't let the artifact dictate your play. This raid is piss-easy, if you want to take arc, just do it. It's fun.
As a professional add clearer you’ve made great points, recommended great weapons, and even when to look for spawns and mentioning wave frame GL this will be helpful for the blue berries
This is good stuff. I've been playing D2 for a long time, but I don't have a lot of raid time. Getting tips for how to effectively add clear (they largely reinforce what I was doing) is extremely helpful. With a 6-person raid, there's no room for passengers and I don't want to be an anchor for my fireteam.
For Nezerac, just taking out the Colossus quickly, doesn’t matter how you do it, is better than most LFGs. I’ve seen too many times of people focusing on the small enemies and leaving the Colossus up. A lot of it is survivability, which Datto should’ve talked about honestly. Don’t rush in if you can’t heal.
The amount of people who want to add clear that can't understand the concept of cover or target priority is astounding. My team carried people through contest this time arpund since it was so easy on mechanics and people would just insist on being in the middle of all the adds with a scout rifle or something silly. It baffles me greatly lol
Graviton Lance is low key meta tor this. Void for Bricks from Beyond, Exotic for ammo generation, Void for Volatile Rounds, Anti Barrier for shieldy boys, Great ad clear, All the overshielded enemies means Turnabout giving you a constant shield.
I know someone who runs this and they absolutely demolish ads and crap out heavy bricks. We’ll leave planets with about 5 extra heavy bricks on the ground we couldn’t manage to use.
I was randomly pulled into RoN a while back by some friends with no experience and only my dungeon loadout, and I gotta say, Strident Whistle (the solar vanguard bow) is shockingly effective - with radiant it can bodyshot most ads in normal mode activities, and that lets you spam out shots as fast as you can draw them, while refreshing radiant and restoration with every kill. Toss in a chill clip riptide and your choice of heavy and you can cut through most things pretty dang quick. So glad I grinded for an incandescent roll, it's really come in handy lately. Even without radiant the scorch cleans up pretty good.
I'm usually the one doing mechanics, but for one of my clears of the master planets challenge I did add clear and made me realize how much work you actually need it put in. (although it probably didn't help that my runners basically just killed their 3 psions and collosus)
It's really cool that you're doing educational videos for PvE. Destiny is overall so easy people often severely underestimate what you need to know, and there is not a whole lot of content on "PvE Destiny fundamentals".
Arc Titan + Thunder Clap + Skullfort is a great weaponless add clear method. Ista-gibs red bars and refreshes your melee and heals you. Then you only need your weapon to deal with target that aren't one-shot by the melee, and boss damage.
This, and Heavy Handed as well as the bonus super on melee kill is actually pretty damn good for having supers ready, be it Thundercrash for a burst of damage, or Fists of Havoc, which i've been messing with a bit recently.
Ammit AR2 is my current ad clear primary, 2nd choice to the calus mini tool. I crafted it to have enhanced incandescent and enhanced ambitious assasin.
I love being the divinity ad clear person 😭 I got the exotic only a few months after I started playing and never turned back. Divinity is my tool to stay in lfgs bc I'm really bad with a lot of raid mechanics
They're not complex, you should put in the time to learn. It's as easy as making a "looking for a Sherpa" post or find one that's sherpa'ing people. Raid mechanics are pretty fun, and one of the only places where mechanics are actually a thing, I don't understand why you'd just want to keep doing what you can do in patrols and just get carried through the raid while robbing yourself of the fun of actually doing the raid.
@Virulent Hunter I know, they are very fun. I know how to do some raids completely very well. I've gotten better over time, even, and I'd only just started to play at the start of Season of the Lost. Also willing and able to learn. I just so happen to be in a clan where I'm put in these positions and don't need to worry about it half the time.
@@virulenthunter3017 You are right in that raid mechanics aren't that complex usually. The complexity comes from the social aspect. Miscommunication, intolerance, inability to listen, arrogance etc etc etc. I am more than capable of doing raids, but if they are complex enough where people do a bad job of explaining them that leads to toxicity and frustration because "dude the mechanics are easy!". RoN has been a breath of fresh air for this reason. Just enough mechanics to feel like a raid, but not overly complex to breed too much toxicity and elitism
the fact that you have self reflection to understand you could do better already makes you better than 99% of the other d2 players. hope you're able to tweak your build to slay
Learn from the mistakes and learn all aspects of the raid. It takes work and suffering on bad teams, but you don't want the be the guy joining KWTD posts knowing you are a carry.
My friends always put me on add clear, not because I don’t know the mechanics, but because they cant even find adds in most raid encounters when I’m on them
I used to just solo ad clear on caretaker cuz for some reason everyone was absolute trash at it. Then we could have three runners and it made it faster
I hate it when the “I’m gonna add clear” people don’t want to do challenge when everyone else wants to like mf you don’t interact with mechanics anyway you don’t get a say
another problematic iteration of this is when a player will say “i’ll run div” or “i got gally” as if that disables their ability to perform any sort of actual mechanic during a boss
As a guy who took pride in being an add eater ever since levi but especially sos days, i can say i can see a huge diff when im on mechanics and leaving add clear to new/unexperienced people. Esp when they try to use smth like scout pulse and prospector or something 💀
I have to ask sometimes who's on add clear because the runners somehow end up with most kills then some of the guys we put on add clear. We'll look at their loadouts and see something like a glaive, a sidearm or once I seen a sniper and shotgun. Those guys get replaced real fast.
@@burns0100 idk about you but i use drang when im not using an lmg or forbearance. Even on day 1 kings fall i was spawn killing adds with it. I cant wait for the sidearm buff next season and maybe we get a solar 3 burst. All the latest 3 bursts have been complete ass for pve its sad
@@roohni2226 I use calus mini tool on my starfire build and an avalanche machine gun. Both have incandescent so killing groups is easy. With the introduction of Incandescent, voltshot, and volatile rounds I rarely use speial weapons for add clear anymore and use my special as a high damage weapon for harder targets. If you want to create add clear primaries look for weapons with unique trait combinations where usually traits won't be. I have 2 primaries with One For All/dragonfly because they benefit eachother as you can boost dragonfly damage with damage traits. You sacrifice reload speed traits, but if you can get flared magwell and reload masterwork to help with that
Kind of what I do as well. Though I do have some primaries built to hit hard as well, I.E. Rufus' Fury with Rewind Rounds and Target Lock for my strand titan.
Played a Raid with a guy who announced he'd do ad clear because he's not great with mechanics. My initial reaction was ...."oh no". Much to my suprise he was a fucking ad clear God. He killed everything. All the time. It was shocking how well he ad cleared. In all honesty, watching him ad clear was more interesting than the mechanics we were involved with. Lmao
My tips Encounter 1-2 ad clear Void class Witherhoard Hollow Denial Commemoration Goodbye ads Ideally for 3 and 4 you want to switch on Thunderlord and swap Wither for whatever primary special you like. If group insists on rockets, then stick with wither, grab a good legendary RL and make sure you use a few rockets on the adds so that heavy ammo can be picked up for Hollow Denial. Hunter and Titan stay on Void and Warlock switch to Starfire well for 3/4. Never have another issue again
Had a guy demand we know what to do when we joined, he died like 3 times per encounter, we stuck him on ads cause he was the only one who didn’t know the encounter, and had 8 kills ON AD CLEAR in each encounter. He would get upset if our runners weren’t doing it the fastest they could saying “if you didn’t take so long I wouldn’t have died to *insert ad that can be easily dealt with*” end of the raid we were curious what he was running, he was running a random kinetic bow (not a good roll) and a glaive with his “dps” weapon being a random rpg cause apparently he didn’t have a half decent rocket saved, had 120 mobility with 30 res and 10 recov on spectral blade hunter, needless to say everybody besides him laughed hysterically for like 20 min at how he brought us together to essentially carry him through the raid as he complained the whole way
A big part of AD Clear should be to at least be familiar with the mechanics even if you're not comfortable running them. On planets encounter for example, those orange bar solar shield honored centurions have to die for the Colossus to spawn for runners. AD Clears who don't pay attention to this will then force the runners to try and do that, which can be difficult if their build is CQC + DPS, much worse on master. There's similar mechanics in other raids and dungeons aka killing x spawns y enemey.
Reminds me of crown of sorrow. You really had learn the rotations of spawning enemies and be efficient at taking them out cause that directly influenced the time you had for dps and general safety time. With cycling partner damage you also had to be prepared to deal with thralls AND beefy knights.
If you’re a fan of Hand Cannons and are running a Exotic Heavy or Energy weapon, Fatebringer and Eyasluna are both very viable kinetic slot workhorses. If you need a Legendary Kinetic slot SMG, Extraordinary Rendition is a solid pick. If you want a good Energy slot Special weapon besides what Datto rattled off, Null Composure is a fun pick.
Haven’t raised in a few years and have been really anxious to do so. I almost did this so I wouldn’t need to use a mic but never though of it this way. I’m glad you said this because this isn’t what I want to do. I always wanted to be an asset or the dude people looked at in the raid for leadership. And I don’t wanna change that
there were a few encounters where I had to step in and take total control of ad clear, first CP was Master Caretaker week 1 of challenge, that was one of the most important roles to have a good ad clearer because 3 Champions spawned per side on each floor. Second was Master Nez challenge because everyone had to get nodes
With the recent sidearm buffs Trespasser basically deletes everything in front of you can can potentially one shot or nearly kill every single yellow bar
The fundamental issue with this video is that the people who are willing to learn how to ad clear well are not the same people who call ad clear at every encounter
Not done RoN yet, but when I've done vog and we've had 3 people on oracles and 3 people on ad clear, I've recently been using gyrfalcons, void machine gun and graviton lance. Good for clearing stuff well
I just want to say I got the title. I never kicked anyone I just moved them into a different roll if it wasn't working out. Sure I had to carry a lot but I never felt the need to kick. I truly believe anyone can do this raid.
Harsh Language with Destabilizing Rounds can be insane. When you kill an enemy early in the wave, it will apply Volatile to enemies further in the wave. The wave then causes Volatile to detonate.
I'm normally doing mechanics but whenever I do find myself on ad-clear this season I've got a wavesplitter build ready to go, really keeps those heavy bricks raining on planets with the endless supply of orange-bars
brigand's law just runs over planets now too. enemies spawn close enough to each other to all voltshot chain so you can just run in a circle from spawn to spawn wiping everything.
Two unsung heroes of monster add clear capabilities: •Sweet Business: If you're a Titan with Actium War Rig, you literally have 30 (28 if because of spool up) seconds of 900 RPM fire. It does INSANE damage to red bar enemies. •Prometheus Lens: This is really only a big deal if you have the catalyst where it gains incandescent. Incandescent on a trace rifle that scorches and reloads on kill means you spend a LOT of time killing groups of enemies and no time at all reloading because of it. I would recommend a kinetic that has shoot to loot to grab bricks and orbs, and rock 1x solar surge to have space for 2 solar reserve mods for more ammo + more ammo on pickup.
Unless you were a runner on the opening couple days of the raid, no LFG group has the tolerance for you to learn. All you are allowed to do is ad clear. DSC, it was fun to learn new roles as they could be saved, someone could pick-up operator, or scanner. But in RoN, the whole battle depends on you having people who know the mechanics and can do them well, that learning is not an option.
Any good solar weapon inside a Well with Ember of Combustion will cause targets to Ignite, spawn Firesprites, create Orbs, and give you a lot of super back especially with Phoenix Protocol. If you need you can swap to Starfire quickly before damage. I suggest Fixed Odds with Killing Tally, Mini-Tool, Drang, Zaouli’s Bane, Sunshot, Ammit AR2, Vex Mythoclast, the BXR, Vision of Confluence, Acasia’s Dejection, and lastly Cartesian Coordinate.
Got my first clear of this today, everyone in my group did mechanics for at least one encounter. I was on a fire bolt splendour bonk titan with a thunderlord and ikelos smg so I could run double arc weapon surge. I was so aggressive my runner didn’t even notice the adds until our third attempt
My favorite was when Master Nezarec challenge was up. The post would be "Master Nez Challenge KWTD Im Ad clear" Like no, my guy, EVERYONE is doing mechanics with challenge lmao
I’m the guy who’s add clear up to Nezzy and then become a runner. The amount of people that I’ve carried from LFG because their add clear barely handles a single group of second encounter enemies is insane. I’m usually so tired by the end of a run because it feels like we’re 1 or 2 people down with most randoms.
Another thing to make note of is that add clear people are in fact also backup mechanics people. At the very least have tangential knowledge of what needs to happen, and what that going wrong looks like/how to fix it.
Funny because add clear is pretty easy and if you are struggling on that then you are pretty bad unless you are drastically under level or on master difficulty. In general, I just go solar with healing grenade for extra survival (unless you are using a grenade build), a primary weapon capable of doing AOE damage like Incandescent, Voltshot, etc., and/or have a wave frame grenade launcher and be decent at using it. On the Planets encounter, I found if you can use a weapon with anti-barrier, you can just plink on through phalanx shields or a wave frame grenade launcher will bypass the phalanx shields. I also tend to stay around the area where the rally flag is placed at and hide behind pillars, this means I'm using more ranged primary weapons (this season I'm using the BXR with incandescent and it can get anti-barrier this season as a choice for the seasonal artifact). On our favorite red pajama wearing Disciple with a dad bod, if I'm not using a super for the boss, then I use an add clearing super immediately to clear out the adds and the colossi in the beginning of the fight. The main threat to the runners in the form of adds is the Colossus on that side, so best take it out ASAP. The main threat from them is their missile barrage that blinds people and that can be devastating for runners.
I want to farm for a deliverance pattern but the dreaded KWTD is making me avoid it. I know more about the raid than most but I don’t want be in the position where I don’t know that part. Since VoD I started to remain in the ad-clear role to avoid issues due to whiping. For anything where I can get away with not having a mic I don’t mind LFG but for Raids you need it and the toxicity is sometimes too much and I am just not in for that. I don’t mind trying for hours but one encounter of toxicity is enough to quit.
Many LFG’s aren’t toxic unless you’re just incompetent. If you put in the time and watched multiple guides you’ll be fine. Be upfront, “I’ve watched guides, haven’t actually done it but I’m willing to try” some might say it’s okay no worries and might teach you, or others might just say, no you stay on ad clear. Regardless it’ll work out for you lol . After 2-3 tries you should understand the mechanics well enough to confidently say “I know how to do the mechanics”
I'd say around 50% of people who join my KWTD posts are people who think i'm saying "I know what to do, you can just ad clear don't worry bro I gotchu." 😂😂 So it's gotten to the point where before I start the raid I check people know their roles etc
As someone who uses KWTD tags frequently, that's essentially the goal. I want people who know the ins and outs of the mechanics so that we aren't sitting for 2 hours in a raid that should take 30-40 minutes. And even then like you said, I get people using double primary's for ad clear, people not understanding mechanics and not communicating etc. I'd much rather teach you quickly while we're there so we can complete it rather than removing you cause you won't speak up or admit you have no clue what you're doing.

I've been saying this. I can run every encounter so I usually end up doing them. But when I'm on add clear, we tend to get through the raid quicker. RON mechanics are easier than doing amazing add clear (like, deleting adds the second they spawn), people just don't want to learn mechanics.
i tend to have to do both at the same time
@@RodWaffle too real
I was genuinely surprise by how MUCH easier Macrocosm master challenge became after swapping places with an add clear:
my fireteam was struggling killing ads (yeah, the psion gang...) and the champions, there were always 20 or so enemies on the map at all times.
I got to learn how to do planets, and I tend to bait nezarec at last encounter, but I am just too nervous for the life of me to ask people in lfg if I can try running for once to remember the right pathing
I know I will fail a few times, and I don't want to waste people's time :(
@@fallhayv8470 All good. just watch a guide or look at a spreadsheet and then try you should be fine
Unhinged datto and elitist datto one after another and honestly I’m all for it
LFG, KWTD (FR)
Datto speaks for the people!
Also the “152nd best ad clear” made my stomach hurt from laughter
We’ve had Elitist Datto. Now we’ve got Peewee Football Coach Datto.

"Tired of Twitter and Reddit's bullshit" Datto is my new favorite Datto
Im so glad you made this video Datto, now when a person doing add clear cant even do that right i have somewhere to direct them to.
The most easily obtainable waveframe GL is probably Deafening Whisper as it is part of the Dares of Eternity lootpool this week :)
Its a fantastic addclear too. Good riddance I grinded the boring hunts for ambitious assassin
Void for Bricks from Beyond,
Exotic for ammo generation,
Void for Volatile Rounds,
Anti Barrier for shieldy boys,
Great ad clear,
All the overshielded enemies means Turnabout giving you a constant shield.
I feel this 1000%. It's so frustrating to be in a team of 6 people and only 2 of them brought their brains with them.
Love this build a lot. I’ve seen people run it with double hands on to get their thunder rash in 20 seconds in legend Avalon
One two punch shotgun with this makes it even better
This, and Heavy Handed as well as the bonus super on melee kill is actually pretty damn good for having supers ready, be it Thundercrash for a burst of damage, or Fists of Havoc, which i've been messing with a bit recently.
That, bonk, suspendy, severance enclosure titans have great neutral game for slaying out
Ammit AR2 is my current ad clear primary, 2nd choice to the calus mini tool.
We got to the final boss of a div run today it was my first gos as well for div and 3 people said they were too tired so we didn't finish it :(
LITERALLY just got off a horrible raid where I kept letting the team down. My spirits are down and this is what I needed.
Hope you feel better pal. Get back in there when you are comfortable and conquer that raid.
Skill issue
the fact that you have self reflection to understand you could do better already makes you better than 99% of the other d2 players. hope you're able to tweak your build to slay
There’ll be times like that… you got this!
Learn from the mistakes and learn all aspects of the raid. It takes work and suffering on bad teams, but you don't want the be the guy joining KWTD posts knowing you are a carry.
Loved this one the amount of times I've had "add clear" have less kills then me is shocking
My friends always put me on add clear, not because I don’t know the mechanics, but because they cant even find adds in most raid encounters when I’m on them
The "B.C" on your name must meant " Big Chad "
My favorite part about people that are “dedicated add clear” is how god awful they are at clearing adds. Seriously
And then they get upset when you recommend they do something else or change their load out.
On God. I remember the add clearing double primary days of SoS. That raid was a blast.
Got my build to a stage where one kill and a melee ignites and I get almost a full melee charge back. So I have 100% ability uptime as well as weapons suited for crowd control.
@@burns0100 fair enough, i never liked calus/mida mini tool feel all the way from season 1 so it just feels bad for me
With the introduction of Incandescent, voltshot, and volatile rounds I rarely use speial weapons for add clear anymore and use my special as a high damage weapon for harder targets.
Thank you datto for letting me KWTD
I love you so much Datto, please never change
Played a Raid with a guy who announced he'd do ad clear because he's not great with mechanics. My initial reaction was ...."oh no". Much to my suprise he was a fucking ad clear God. He killed everything. All the time. It was shocking how well he ad cleared. In all honesty, watching him ad clear was more interesting than the mechanics we were involved with. Lmao
Tell me Datto is frustrated from Raiding with Th3Jez without telling me. 🤣
My tips
Encounter 1-2 ad clear
Void class
Witherhoard
Hollow Denial
Commemoration
Goodbye ads
Ideally for 3 and 4 you want to switch on Thunderlord and swap Wither for whatever primary special you like.
Listening to this while i work out so it sounds like datto is teaching me how to get stronger
key takeaway message here is :AS THEY SPAWN! also abuse those volatile rounds guys its so free on the artifact this season
Elitist Datto's takes always give me a smile on my face
I’m here for Datto going wild.
Haven’t raised in a few years and have been really anxious to do so. I almost did this so I wouldn’t need to use a mic but never though of it this way. I’m glad you said this because this isn’t what I want to do. I always wanted to be an asset or the dude people looked at in the raid for leadership. And I don’t wanna change that
One of the few instances where I am actually enjoying Elitist Datto, as add clear roles are areas I genuinely know I need a bit of improvement on.
It feels good having a guide encouraging better gunskill in Destiny again
"world's 152nd best ad slayer" had me howling, love to see videos addressing problems people didnt even know they had
there were a few encounters where I had to step in and take total control of ad clear, first CP was Master Caretaker week 1 of challenge, that was one of the most important roles to have a good ad clearer because 3 Champions spawned per side on each floor.
So many people need to see this…..
If I'm add clear on Planets encounter, I use Trinity Ghoul on top of the middle planets and rain lightning like Zeus
The sad thing is that the kind of people who are the problem in this video are the type who won’t watch a video like this in the first place
1:40 and I can tell this is gonna be one of the greatest Datto videos ever.
suspend is amazing in second for lifting gold enemies , and holding nezz adds in place for wave nade eating them in one shot
Not done RoN yet, but when I've done vog and we've had 3 people on oracles and 3 people on ad clear, I've recently been using gyrfalcons, void machine gun and graviton lance. Good for clearing stuff well
The timing of Shovel's emotes in the beginning is hilarious
I just want to say I got the title. I never kicked anyone I just moved them into a different roll if it wasn't working out. Sure I had to carry a lot but I never felt the need to kick. I truly believe anyone can do this raid.
Harsh Language with Destabilizing Rounds can be insane. When you kill an enemy early in the wave, it will apply Volatile to enemies further in the wave. The wave then causes Volatile to detonate.
This has to be the most hilarious video title Datto's ever made.
Unhinged Datto is the Super Saiyan version of Elitist Datto and I'm here for it.
“Kwtd……I’ll do add clear” is LFG in a nutshell. I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks so 😂 great vid Datto!
I'm normally doing mechanics but whenever I do find myself on ad-clear this season I've got a wavesplitter build ready to go, really keeps those heavy bricks raining on planets with the endless supply of orange-bars
Thanks for the vid 😁 there is actually so many people who can’t add clear properly
brigand's law just runs over planets now too. enemies spawn close enough to each other to all voltshot chain so you can just run in a circle from spawn to spawn wiping everything.
I do mechanics as opposed to add clear, and this is still genuinely helpful for me. I appreciate learning how to more efficiently obliterate adds!
Two unsung heroes of monster add clear capabilities:
•Sweet Business: If you're a Titan with Actium War Rig, you literally have 30 (28 if because of spool up) seconds of 900 RPM fire.
Datto forgot to mention the greatest ad clear weapon of all time. Cerberus+1
We had a guy join our group once that didn't know what to do and said he would add clear. He was using Last Word 💀
FYI, using Soul drinker (Vow weapon) heals you when you reload after hitting enemies helps a lot.
“Teaching you to be the 152nd best add clearer”💀 We love you dude.
My favorite was when Master Nezarec challenge was up.
The post would be "Master Nez Challenge KWTD Im Ad clear"
Like no, my guy, EVERYONE is doing mechanics with challenge lmao
me, who's on mechanic duty every raid i do but still watching for datto's villainy
Me after running planets, killing the most ads and getting 2nd highest damage: easy peasy savathussy
The "world's 152nd best add slayer" joke was severely underrated, well done
Another thing to make note of is that add clear people are in fact also backup mechanics people. At the very least have tangential knowledge of what needs to happen, and what that going wrong looks like/how to fix it.
Excellent vid bc I normally go for ad clear most times and having a good partner is crucial so gonna send this to them
Funny because add clear is pretty easy and if you are struggling on that then you are pretty bad unless you are drastically under level or on master difficulty.
I feel like 90% people only put KWTD in lfg posts to scare off unconfident players most of them are still usually filled with people who don’t know
I'd say around 50% of people who join my KWTD posts are people who think i'm saying "I know what to do, you can just ad clear don't worry bro I gotchu." 😂😂 So it's gotten to the point where before I start the raid I check people know their roles etc
YES I was waiting for this video after your twitter announced it can't wait to watch!
Risk runner is also an easy ad clear exotic that pretty much everyone has. The arc chain will clean up the psions very quickly.
Cabal don't tend to use Arc damage that often, don't they?
@@cestlavie5063 Yeah I think they mostly use soar, but you can self-damage with arc grenade if you want to get the chain going. Not the best option but it is an easy one.
