Important clarification about the sword logic perk: ANY kill will keep your current stack level. Killing a yellow bar gives you x3, and any red bar kill will keep x3 up as long as that timer never hits zero. One good kill can give a lot of mileage.

I think the best part about bait n' switch on an MG vs. something like a rocket is that all you need to get the buff is one bullet. After that first shot, the rest of the potentially 200 round deep magazine is buffed, unlike a rocket or linear where you'll probably have reload at some point within the buff's duration.

These weapons are perfect for healer builds since healers are best in add clear because add clear generally stays in one spot and has others running past them. Cursed thrall does a lot to make up for the fact that full time healers have had to give up their grenades ever since the Solar 3.0 rework, and running boots of the assembler with ember of benevolence gets you back a celestial fire melee really quickly. Also the shotgun is the best pve shotgun hands down because of cursed thrall. Tears groups of enemies apart like nothing
Most of these things I agree with but the last thing is super subjective. I am not sure when you would want to adclear with a shotgun but even if you were to count it as the king of adclear shotguns. It has very middling perks for dps scenarios and it being strand makes it automatically worse than it being kinetic (there are better and craft able kinetic lightweight dps shotties)

I think you undervalue target lock in the cases of day to day versatile use. Machine guns will still slay out without a damage perk, and ability based builds (which are insanely popular and powerful) will easily fill this void in all but the very hardest content (Sometimes not even in day 1 raids apparently). Most PvE content ends with a boss of some kind, and usually one with enough health that you can't just kill it with abilities exclusively without some downtime (Unless you have sunbracers on). Some bosses in GMs are dangerous enough that you want that extra damage IMO.
I got stupid lucky and got all 5 deep sights for song of ir yut, and enhanced BnS absolutely slaps at Master lost sectors, and as a side note recon/BnS put up very close numbers to Rerrofit on Nez ( my raid team does Div/Retrofit for damage on close bosses)
Late but abyss defiant is phenomenal in PvP with zen moment and a damage perk. I’d say it’s better than ammit after the precision frame range change and the ammit zoom nerf.
Someone needs to try song of irut on Ghalron because I’m 90% sure that each of the shadows of ghalron count as a boss which would make that encounter a cake walk.
About Lightweight shotties in PVP, Riiswalker and CQC-12 are both still very good IMHO. I don't have any God roll Precisions, and both of these do great. My Riis has 85 range and my CQC has 70. Also, I was just in a lobby with a guy running Without Remorse, and he was doing great.

I’ve been waiting for this video 😂
People used to talk shit about Crota's End in D1, but it had one of the best selection of guns from a raid, one of the best looking armour, a decent exotic...and Glowhoo...
It’s crazy that everyone’s been clamoring for an arc 450 machine gun when the moon machine gun is just sitting there with subsistence and one for all.
Nowhere close to as good as corrective measure and the DSC lmg
I crafted the hc and mg. Next is the pulse for pvp - it shredddddss...
Even if sword logic isn’t good, it’s my favourite perk. It’s so unique
LUCKY PANTS AND PRECISION INSTRUMENT!
Word of crota looks so wonk with new sights and recoil pattern
Jez would use these guns with every perk that is not recommended
While Abyss is a 360. I crafted mine with Incandescent and Pugilist. Combined with my Sunbracer build, it's loads of fun. Basically infinite uptime on Snap and Cursed Thrall Explosion overlaps with Incandescent. Everything dies.
Rewind + cascade is wild with actium warrig, shit literally goes brrrrr
Have word of crota with subsistence and sword logic. As a hunter, use lucky pants.
I mean I got a Killing Wind/Rampage Word of Crota. Pretty Solid hand cannon.
Fine Memorial is crying right now...
it did have it's time tho! it has stayed as the top choice for so long, atleast imo. 450 LMGs is the way
@@bragekv9937 i used my auto loading frenzy roll on day one and had really good success. still want an auto loading one for all though. but this new machine gun is going to be really really nice
Also heal clip sword logic went crazy in pvp
They forgot the missle laucher and im sad they jumped over the black hanmer again, id love if they gave it another perk to replace black hammers perk like lucky round or anti barrier against hive
Firefly instead of dragonfly would have been a much better perk for the Word of Crota.
well, firefly is dragonfly witha reload speed buff aswell. so it will always be better.
Void auto from vanguard positive outlook also has destabilizing rounds
Slight correction. Aggressive frames are not it right now. Precision frames are where its at
bungie does not want to go back to the scout meta in d1 in any way possible
Late but abyss defiant is phenomenal in PvP with zen moment and a damage perk. I’d say it’s better than ammit after the precision frame range change and the ammit zoom nerf.
Someone needs to try song of irut on Ghalron because I’m 90% sure that each of the shadows of ghalron count as a boss which would make that encounter a cake walk.
Bro had no idea how good heal clip incan was about to be on that auto rifle😂
Finally a good arc machine gun
6:41 better tell cheese forever bout this one
I stopped playing Destiny but yet here I am. I don't even know what some of these perks are
Does the Cursed Thrall explosion proc shoot to loot?
About Lightweight shotties in PVP, Riiswalker and CQC-12 are both still very good IMHO. I don't have any God roll Precisions, and both of these do great. My Riis has 85 range and my CQC has 70.
Also, I was just in a lobby with a guy running Without Remorse, and he was doing great.
Am I the only one who actually kinda likes 180 rpm’s in Pve ? Especially after the hc buffs
they are very usable, however the mind of the collective takes time to adjust.
@@bragekv9937 posterity slaps in pve now. Word of crota is a gyrfalcons hunter monster imo. Seventh seraph officer revolver has some great perks as well. Trust is pretty solid overall. The Ikelos HC is also great on void. Plus frontier’s cry, survivors epitaph, and nature of the beast have some solid rolls as well
I think Voltshot/Frenzy Posterity feels better than dragonfly/Voltshot NoB. Super excited to craft Repulsor Brace/Frenzy for Gyrfalcon Hunter. Won't need destabilizing rounds since Gyrfalcon will give the near 100% uptime of volatile rounds.
Also still like Frenzy over Sword Logic for GMs for reload and handling buffs
I have an old AA/TP Seventh Seraph Officer Revolver that is still my fav HC in the game. 180's are my fav archetype.
