I did not understand the subwoofer amp install through forscan. Is there a setting and what does it do? I set up my subwoofer with a line driver (LC1i) and picked up the OEM subwoofer for the kine in and the remote sense.
I just bought the luxx series, and I cannot figure out how to adjust these things. My passenger side is shooting up a little, and clearly need to bring it down. All I’m seeing is a crown looking “bolt” where the adjustment hole is. I can’t get anything in there to turn it. It’s facing towards the front of the truck.. I’ve emailed AlphaRex to no avail..
Nice video, what alpharex headlights did you buy? also did you notice those headlights being too dim? I'm curious to see if you recommend any headlight bulbs
On mine it was clockwise on both sides, had to bring them down 12" Phillips screw driver now I have to bring the high beams down at least a foot or more Hikari Ultra H7 leds in both high and low.
I didn’t have any space behind it to fit a wrench in and I tried using a flat head screw driver and it took forever but then I used a Philips head in the same spot and it worked so much faster and saved me a lot of time... those sharp teeth I wouldn’t figure u can use a Philips head but yeah
Hey question I have a 2020 F150 lariat 5.0 but it doesn’t have the plow package now I know that the plow package essentially is just that button that the activates power to like heated seats and stuff is there a way through the forescan To add the button and make it possible to have the plow availability at a regular 5.0 without the plow package thanks so much I would appreciate your response
It's more than likely that global windows doesn't work on the rear because there's no auto up/down function in the rear, which would require a module. The DDM and PDM only pertain to the front doors. Best part of forscan is turning off the warning chimes. I disabled the key in ignition, door open, and start up chimes which in itself makes it worth paying for the extended license. Technically speaking, Bambi mode would fail Pennsylvania State inspection, but it's probably not something I would fail. I like the Alpharex headlights on that truck. Thinking about getting the Nova Midnight Black series for my F150. Pricey, but damn those things look sharp.
This whole truck worries me for when we make it back to PA lol those midnight series definitely look nice!! Kind of wish I would've waited n got those!
@@WICKEDAUTO1 You need to find a certified inspection mechanic like me who specializes in "Helen Keller" inspections. LoL. Yeah, those midnight series really look sharp. My truck has the same paint/decals as yours. I think that would really make the midnight black headlights pop.
Another question from me...I did away with the seat belt chime, the doo doo doo chime when you crank... But I still have the chime when I first get in the truck and insert the key. Is that the Key Warning Chime thing you mentioned? If so can you give me a how to? I can not open Google documents at work and I do not remember seeing how to do away with that annoying chime when you put the key in the ignition before you crank it.Thank you as always!!
I just installed the alpharex headlights and added led bulbs. It has since thrown a bunch of codes that I cleared then came right back. Can I use forscan to accept the led headlight bulbs?
I know you can use it to remove the fast flicker from your tuck thinking they're out but I'm not sure if you can do what your asking. May have to get resistors.
Just recently downloaded forscan to my laptop to make some changes but not all options are available to configure as are on the spreadsheet. Would it be the forscan app itself maybe? Example: BCM, IPC, PDM, DDM
@@garner3384 what he said^^. Thank you, Daniel! It is the hs and ms switch. The main components...bcm being one is under hs, others are under ms..apim being one of them.
When I had them on my ram I never had a issue at all, on this f150 only the passenger side has the issue for some reason. I plan on getting some 3m tape and see if that will work to hold the guard tight against the outside seal
I had this issue, at first on my 2018 F-150, and I hate to admit it but I put them on wrong. Just an FYI if you’re towing a trailer or heavy load in tow mode your Hill dissent automatically works there is no need to push a button.
The rear windows have to have one touch up/down option like the fronts for global to work on them
