Warnings ⚠️ did you go and clear them all or did you just have no error codes when the system runs all the systems? I have a few and wondering if I need to troubleshoot them? Truck seems fine as far as I know ?
Hey Andrew. Replacing the battery should not cause any settings loss for any critical component. If your truck is 2011 or newer, you might need to do a battery monitoring system (BMS) reset using Forscan.
I follow 2 of your videos and one is to add the drl into the cluster controlled. Second one is to disable the drl in the bcm(only) “drlbyautolamp_key 1-5. Now that I got the drl into the cluster and the low beam won’t come on when the truck is in gear with lamp switch is off and that’s what I want. But with lamps switch is in “auto” Low beam and C shape led light are on too even day time and unchecked box in the drl cluster. And the C shape led light always stay on in all lamp switch positions while truck is in gear or not. What can I do to getbb by it right, thanks
@@drive8892 If you've done the the procedure to add the DRL to the IPC cluster, you need to undo the manual disable. Always test with the lamp switch on the off position. With the DRL option unchecked in the dash, the lamp switch in "off", no light should be on in the headlights.
@@drive8892 The procedure I did works for the OEM lights on a XLT. If your headlight has a daylight strip, the configuration would probably be similar to the one in a platinum/limited headlight.
So I'm trying to disable my DRL's as well, but I have the Gameboy looking screen. Would I still be able to add the same on/off option to that screen too? 2015 5.0 Great video by the way, just wasn't sure being a different engine if that matters.

You added the Daylight Running Lights to your instrument cluster. I'm about to download Forscan because I want to enable reverse sensing. I added the bumper, sensors, and wiring harness. I can see where to enable that in the PAM. But I cannot find anywhere in the IPC to add the REAR PARKING AIDE in the menu so I can turn it on and off similar to what you added to the menu with the DRLs. Where can I get the info to add this to my IPC with the Forscan? Thanks for any help.

It came out of factory in KPH and it was sold in Canada. However, the Ford dealer that sold me changed the ipc To MPH as a requirement to import the truck to the US.
@@dcfgarage my truck came as kmh and not mph on that digital speedometer. So everytime I start the engine I have to press "ok" all the time. I wonder is there is a way to change the default to mph instead?
@@sxiong9908 My truck had the same problem. It kept going back to KPH on the digital speedometer after turning it off. I complained to the dealer when I bought it and they fixed it. They said they had to remove the IPC from the dash and send it to someone to program it. I don't know the details though.

I have morimoto headlights on my 2019 F150 XLT. I did the disabling Canadian forced DRLs to cluster controlled . It comes up on my cluster. But once i disable the DRLS it wont let me enable them backt it in the cluster. I have to restore value back for my OEM DRLS to come back on.

When that happens it's normally because the values entered in one of the configurations failed the checksum, then it reverts back to as-built. Hi Evan, both are correct. The first one turns it off, but doesn't add the option in the panel cluster. The second one does. It's two different ways of doing it. The advantage of the second ways is that you can turn it on more easily when you want.

Hi Chaz. Is your truck 2015-2019 with the same cluster as mine? For the previous generation trucks or the 8 inch cluster, the values are different. If no, then try doing ti again. This happened to me the first time I did it. When I did it again, it worked. I assume I must have put in the wrong config the first time. Hope it helps
@@chazwilkey6389 Then I would redo the 2 BCM changes again. Because you can see the option in your cluster, the IPC change you made was correct. So it's probably one of the BCM changes that didn't go through.
The "as built" numbers change from truck to truck. Just make sure yours is a 2015-2020 XL or XLT. Lariat and above trims have different codes for the changes. But many are the same as the XLs and XLTs

Maybe the pro version allows it, but I doubt the free one does. However I wouldn't recommend doing that with any other software than Ford's IDS
