- It's back!!! The Folio Society has The Shining back in the store so I couldn't resist picking up the set! These books look great, feel great, and have me excited to read more King!
Funnily enough, I’ve actually read this Folio edition of The Shining while listening to Piano Sonata no14 on loop in the background. Fitting :)

Great job man. King isn’t my personal cup of tea, but I enjoyed taking a look at these editions through your eyes. Your enthusiasm for the material is clear. Hoping you hear some good news about an upcoming King release from Folio this year so you can keep stacking your collection. They really do look great together!

Great video! I was thinking about buying the new Folio Society Shakespeare set... but yes, so expensive.
Folio editions of the dark tower would bankrupt me

So you’ve had Misery 1st this whole time and never read it? I want these editions so bad now The Shining is back in print. But the cost! They are absolutely beautiful. Not the biggest fan of the art but definitely creepy!
I actually just found that 1st edition of Misery at a used book store a couple months ago!
My personal preference for the art would have gone a different direction as well, but there are some great pieces included in these edition. I think some of my favorite horror art has been in a few of the Suntup Editions books I have. Cheers!
@@TheWanderingZhoop Great find! I also have a first Misery back when it was first released. I actually sent it to King’s office in early 90’s and he signed it! So I do need a different reader’s copy. Glad to have found your channel. You’ve got a great taste in books and publishers.

I mean no hate, just very particular about book handling 😂 just don't look at my paperbacks... 😂
