Yeah, I too prefer people to say “sorry” than try to make up with actions. I don’t mind if they do it again, so long if they say “sorry” again. It really annoys me when people just change their ways without telling me “sorry.” I deserve the apology, I don’t need you to change. Just apologize!!!

The actions were fine and all but it doesn't demonstrate a clear recognition of guilt as Mako clearly wanted to win for other reasons than making amends with Bolin, sorry was all that was needed to own up to his mistakes, which gladly he did but I'm annoyed that Korra never apologies and that Bolin even said sorry!?! He had nothing to apologise for 😂

This episode is fun and sets up the more engrossing next one. As for the messy immature teen romance stuff in the show many find it annoying but I find it more amusing in a cringey way than annoying. In her own different way, given her sheltered upbringing , Korra is almost as awkward socially as Azula. Glad you like Bolin, he is a lovable himbo.
Yes, there was a lot of drama, but I love how Korra pulled it off. She could see that if they lost that match, she would have likely lost them both as friends. As shes grown up away from people, especially those her own age, shes never had that. So she was fighting for a mor than a game.
I do like that this whole thing explored the effects of how she was raised, it did a great job of showing off her growth in determining that staying friends with Mako and Bolin is more important than trying to be with one of them.
Even though Korra is so different than Aang, she did inherit his thing to kiss the love interest after them saying *I’m confused*. They did Bolin so dirty in this episode. I was not a fan of that because I wanted to feel bad for Bolin, but I thought it wasn’t humorous IMO.
That's so true! 😂😂 Nice to see somethings staying consistent through lifetimes. Feel so bad for Bolin after this though, he did not deserve this heartbreak and it's so weird how they try and play it off humorously here and not like a complete betrayal.
If memory serves me right, the relationship stuff gets way better over the seasons. But seeing it cut together like this makes it even worse than I remembered 😭 But don't worry, it will get better... it just might get a bit worse before that happens 😅🤫

It hurts me to watch relationship drama this show and not in a good way, lol, as for Korra she's 17 now, that happens when you keep an emotional teen in compound her whole life, she barely has met any girls her age..let alone boys.
That's so true, she's had no interaction with anyone her own age so of course now she's going to be extremely awkward, it's weird as she acts quite naturally in other situations with people since she was able to make friends with Bolin and Mako yet here the way she was raised takes so much effect on her.
korra and BOLIN is 16 and Mako is 18 - I do really like Bolin as a character but the show often plays his suffering for comedy which is a great disappointment when it could be used for great drama. Tahno is not mispronouncing Avatar it's simply the voice actor using his natural accent which funny enough is closer to the original pronouncing of the word - and don't worry the relation drama will become less of focus in due time
Thanks for the ages, it makes the drama make more sense knowing that they're all teenagers 😂 Quite disappointed with how they treated Bolin in this, having his suffering played off as humour was a real shame but hopefully it doesn't stay that way. Thank goodness the relationship drama gets less, the plot is so interesting with Amon so to be bogged down with the characters going through this a bunch of times would be really annoying 😂
Yeah, it's definitely different for this franchise with how ATLA focused solely on a prophesied relationship, here it felt so clunky with the amount of misunderstanding that was going on which makes it so hard to appreciate it.
