Tarrlok as Amon is something a lot of the fans (myself included) suspected. It was the reddest herring and a testament to how well the show is written. His reveal with "I am the solution" is top tier villain.

Tarrlok said it himself, his father wanted to rule Republic City the illegal way but he chose the "legal" route. He was obviously corrupted but to some degree he does respect the law.

@@cycIvps he needed avatar state in his 40s to beat amons father while korra beat his son who’s stronger than yakone with just airbending , also revived airbenders unlike aang who only revived one and put all the pressure on one of his sons. Aang is useless and weak

Something I've thought about a lot over the years regarding the special benders (bloodbending, metalbending, Combustionbending, etc) is that maybe these forms of bending have been discovered before but just weren't passed down for various reasons. Maybe some waterbenders in the past discovered they could bloodbend but wisely decided to never share their discoveries fearing they would be misused.

I think katara wasn't in court because she wasn't a cop or authority figure and around that time I think tenzin and his siblings were kids so she was probably at home with them

I honestly think that Katara is powerful enough to be able to bloodbend without a full moon if she invested her time into perfecting it. But her morals wouldn't allow it.
What is up with people and this headcanon...☠️. They confirmed that this ability is ABNORMAL, UNHEARD OF, SPECIAL. No bender under regular means would ever have this ability which includes Katara.
They literally stated that Yakone is a "unique" bender in ths trial, because he can ABNORMALLY bypsss the limitation.
Katara stans needa stop with this headcanon.

What I think Korra lands really well is the villains of each season. They're all fantastic in their own ways. What I don't think they did as well was "Team Avatar". Don't get me wrong, I like Mako and Bolin a lot, but they're not as well fleshed out as Katara and Sokka were.
Nor is Korra as compelling a main character as Aang was until season 3 and 4, in which I think some of the best story arcs of both shows take place. Although how they showed the fear of Amon affecting her in this season was really well done, and is a glimpse at the journey her character goes on later. I will say, they really had equally great supporting characters throughout the show, just like they did in Airbender. I especially like Tenzin and his family, and Chief Beifong.
I think Airbender is still the better show, is much more evenly paced and consistent in its progression and writing. But Korra has some really great moments. I'm so excited to see where the creators take this universe in the upcoming Avatarverse projects they're working on.

You were wrong about who Amon was but in this episodes you have been given all the clues to figure out who Amon really is. Can you figure it out before the big reveal?

1) we saw in ATLA that a stronger waterbender can overcome blood- bending (Katara vs Huma)
2) Korra's visions of Aang happened after encountering a child of Yakone but the first two happened after she had an encounter with Amon, not Tarrlok.

Katara isn’t in politics
Sokka council man that’s why he is there. Toph is chief of police. Even Aang said under normal circumstances I wouldn’t get involved he’s there because of how powerful Yakone is.
And Katara can’t do anything to Yakone.
Yakone blood bent 60 people without the full moon Katara would have been blood bent as well.

Season 2 is considered the worst season just because it does have a bit of a slow start, but once it gets going it is top notch ❤

First season is one of the best seasons of all 4... the second season is the less good (for my personal opinion and also the general opinion) but it has some of the beast cameos... some say season 3 is the best one!!! And season 4 is as good as season 1...

Everyone asks where Katara was during Yakone's trial, but at that point she had three kids and was the south's chief healer so she had other things to do.
Idk she should have been there though I mean it's about blood bending and she is the one who banned it ..... Maybe she's too powerful the creator didn't involve her or maybe yakone too powerful for katara..... Having three kids is not a reason for her to not to attend the verdict though.....
I was under the impression that Sokka and Toph LIVED in Republic City and Aang was just a frequent visitor.
@@youtubeviewer4472Aang’s home was air temple island, so in a way he also lived in Republic City. Katara obviously lived with him in air temple island as well. As for Sokka I think the writers confirmed he lived in the suburbs of Republic city. Toph was chief of police so it’s pretty obvious she lived there.
She wasn’t in the south she was on air temple island. She moved to the south when Aang died.

Don't get your hopes up for season 2 though. It's rubbish. Season 3 however is phenomenal! Even better than season 1. But season 4 is floppy again.

No season 2 isn’t trash not as good as season 1 but not trash.
I like season 2 and others do as well.
@@JuniorMarzy Season 2 has to many spirits' mumbo jumbo that doesn't explained properly. That's why I said that it's trash. But rest assured, season 3 pays it all 👍🏼. And season 4 unfortunately returned to the spirits' mumbo jumbo, though not as extensively as season 2, that's why I said that season 4 is floppy.
