Quick update! I just got an email from Wynn with an offer for a *3 night complementary stay with $200 freeplay!* So the tier match into Wynn Platinum ended up being really profitable. I don't know if they give this offer to every new platinum player, but if you get the chance to tier match, you should definitely take advantage of it!
I tier matched at Wynn in July 2021 and I received the same exact offer 3 free nights. Mostly Midweek only. 3 nights plus $200 free credit which I think its for play. Also from matching at Wynn to their Platinum I got $150 for birthday which is good the month of your birthday, even before your birthday (important to know say your birthday is Oct 28th the birthday offer is good Oct 1st to 30th) Also they offer $100 to Wynn spa and the cheapest 50min massage will cost you $250 with tax and tip, minus the $100 they gave you. Plus 2 master classes each for two. Not sure if those are worth it. Haven't had time to look into it.
Great tips! Thanks! I didn't know at Vdara the $20 trick works, will try it next time. I also have not had success at Park MGM staying there twice in July 2021, however, while both times I didn't get any complimentary upgrades, the first time I ended up paying $150 to upgrade to 900SF Skylark suite (wow it was worth the extra space, couch and dining table!!) and second time at Park MGM I bumped my tip from $20 to $50 and I got a 700SF Nighthawk room which was nice as well. Definitely worth it. With table minimums now at $25, a $50 tip isn't a lot with recent inflation levels.
Yes, Definitely try it at Vdara. The really nice thing about Vdara is that their suites have laundry machines. So you can do your laundry and you don't have to come home after vacation with dirty laundry.
@@cristalrl It ended up working for me! I got one of their newly renovated rooms but it seemed like it still needed work. If it works for you and they ask if you want a pyramid or tower room, (based on the room I got) I would go for tower
Idk, it didn't really work. I slipped him the $20, he smiles and asks "Oh is this for me?" Then says he can upgrade me for $30 a day which is nothing special. He did give me $40 room service credit & free extra hour late checkout. I opted out for maid services so that saved me $40. He didn't remove the resort fees even though I didn't use the gym, pool, or parking. I guess I got a deal. 🤷🏾♂️ I have no regrets, I planned on embarking in luxury regardless so whatever! 😎 Oh and I received $25 or $15 in play rewards...I can't remember exactly
I would prefer the Cosmo one bedroom terrace to the executive suite. It has no terrace, and it looks like they stuck a dining room table in the living room!
Yeah, I think I agree. The one bedroom terrace also has the Japanese soaking tub right? That tub is sweet! The executive suite does come with a 2nd bathroom though, which is super convenient.
Pay money to save money…. Nice trick. Bet you didn’t know you could get upgrades by asking sometimes. Or is it just me that knows the ‘be friendly and polite, while not bribing’ trick……..

This absolutely worked at the cosmo Dec 2021. Upgraded with no problem. Awesome trick!!

Did you do the $20 trick by itself or did you have Cosmo Identity status with them as well?
I didn’t have status at cosmo when I did the $20 trick.
Glad to see it worked! I’ll be arriving in Vegas tomorrow morning, staying at the Luxor. Kind of nervous to try this though
Hahah don't be nervous. Treat it as a gamble. You're in Vegas anyway!
I've done it at Luxor and it worked! You're going on a weekday so chances are probably good....
@@teresachan2847 Thanks for the heads up! I hope it does. Would be a great way to start my first time in Vegas 😁
@@YaTuChavez so glad to see this interaction I'm going there in a few weeks and I will be doing it as well. If it works can you update please!

I’m confused 🤔 so you paid $20 tip and still had to pay the 170 extra a night for the executive suite?
No. I didn’t have to pay any extra. This was not a typical outcome though. We would usually get a smaller upgrade.
Interesting video and well done. I hope your channel does well
Terrace rooms are legit!!! Best views in Vegas. Try going on a Sunday or early in the week.
Especially the terrace one bedroom suite. It has a Japanese soaking tub and it’s awesome!
@@JeffreyYamada I always say I'ma use the tub but never get to it 😭
Great tips!
Thanks Peter!
I'm hoping this works for me at the Cosmo in a couple weeks...I booked the cheapest room in hopes of my $20 trick coming in clutch for an upgrade!!
Good luck! let us know how it turned out.
Often the have upgrade specials. Just ask. Bribery in a class establishment is just classless

@@TheRAYviewYT I see your point & I agree, but money also talks. I guess I can be straightforward then save the cash & tip them after they upgrade me!
Gave a 100$ tip and got no resort fee at venetian and free breakfast
Not bad. I’d call that a success.
