I'd have kicked off about the bag, I wouldn't be having that, it doesn't matter if its a £50 bag or £500 bag, they ruined it and should be on the hook to replace it, you'd expect a fine establishment like that to look after your belongings. Shocking...
Yeh this is what I wanted to mention as well, unbelievable. Not even any compensation? Even if I could clean my 100 dollar bag myself and it wasn't ruined, so kind of free dinner, anything. Just basic principles of customer service....
@@clogs4956 that's besides the point, it could have sentimental value for all they know, maybe even a gift from a late relative, at the end of the day it's the guest's property which the hotel ruined, it's unacceptable and I'd never stay there having seen this. It sets the tone for how they treat their guests and what little respect they have for them, Tim's just too polite, most folks would not have put up with it.
As a Hotel Manager Im shocked by the state of your luggage, firstly any damage must be reported by the concierge or porter to there supervisor who in turn reports it to the reception manager, he or she then reports it to the reception desk manager who notes it & adds a red flags it on your check in record so whoever checks you in knows to call the supervisor to discuss compensation....yes! there is compensation for damage to your possessions caused by a staff member whilst your staying....please don't leave this and go oh well, this is unacceptable and the staff member must be accountable

As a young bride my husband and I went to the Bellagio Hotel and Resort in January 2000. The hotel was only open a couple of years at that time. It was and still is quite posh and luxurious in which many other hotels took inspiration from and were modelled after. The flowers, the artwork, fountains and restaurants were second to none. We were served breakfast with real silverware. I remember that my silver teapot was on a beautiful silver tray. Not sure if they still do that today, but it was exceptional and so special for me. You mentioned in your video that you found the hotel quite big and it took time to get from one end to another. Well, fun fact…I remember our waiter telling us that the hotel was suppose to be bigger but it was scaled back. After all these years the Bellagio is still the must see hotel in Las Vegas.
The room was spacious but devoid of any character or charm. It was very clean though so I would appreciate that. The glass flowers in the lobby were beautiful.
That's what Air BnBs and Bed and Breakfasts are for, not corporate hotels with thousands of rooms. They're not going to individualize and put unique touches in every room.

A very impressive hotel. I think they ought to provide a map for ease of navigating everywhere, and perhaps a scooter for getting around! (Would be rather fun!) The third bathroom may be for if you took a guest to your room they would not have to use either of the en suites. Some compensation for the damage to your bag would not have been unreasonable. I rather liked and was impressed with the arrowhead sliding sidebar which you included for the various facts.

A little tip...if youre handicap or have trouble walking long distances... you can ask for a designated handicap room (which has walk-in shower vs. tub/shower) or you can ask upon booking if they can assign you a room closest to the elevators. I would suggest leaving handicap rooms for people who are wheelchair bound and just ask the staff for a room closest to the elevator.

Always like a mountain view in Vegas. You got loads of time to soak in the strip. It's nice to get away from it in the room with a serene view of the desert and mountain range.
The BAG! They should of course say they will have it cleaned! I love Bellagio. The buffet was amazing 20 years ago. Im sure it still is. The lobby flower roof was there already 20 years ago. Cirque Soleil O show was beyond amazing. Never seen anything like it.
Last time I was in Vegas, two years ago, we stayed at the Venetian. Really nice hotel with a beautiful suite you step down into. The room was gifted to us by a friend and the restaurants were very nice with good food. Yes, this place you came to is really gorgeous. If you ever come back to Las Vegas, get up early morning like about 5 or 6 AM just to be outside with a cup of coffee or tea. The strip is amazingly quiet. Almost unreal.
Some of the places you go to Tim are just a dream to some people. As one of those people, thank you. Your videos give us a chance to live vicariously through you. Always look forward your vids. 😊
When I saw the ground floor foyer and corridors, it reminded me of The Atlantis in Dubai. I don’t enjoy staying in hotels where there’s hundreds of people milling/walking around and long queues to check in and have breakfast. A good informative video as always Tim 👏
Tim is perfectly understandable! I'm an engineer, just in my 30s and work in tech. However I'm not any better. When introduced to new technology I no longer ask "what" or "how". Instead I ask "why"! lol I think its all about age and maturity, and honestly Tim is doing quite well with technology for someone in his late 30s/low 40s!
When I meet a foreigner and ask them what American cities they’d like to visit, I expectedly get New York, Los Angeles, and even my city of San Francisco. But I also always get Las Vegas, which is a surprise. I never expected Vegas to be considered an international destination.
Pro tip. When staying at Vegas hotels, take photos of meeting/marker points. It's so easy to get lost in the casinos. Was forever getting disoriented. Love the bottomless coffee business in the US
The two bathrooms for each getting ready to go out and third for guest to keep your privacy when heading to a nice restaurant or clubbing. Suites are also used for Bachelorette or bachelor parties, weddings get ready.
Ahh Tim. Aussie traveler here. You brought back memories of Vegas. I enjoyed visiting the hotels on the Strip on the way to the Grand Canyon. I stayed at Sam's Club which is quite a way from the Strip, but I highly recommend. It was clean, had everything you need and cheap. Circus Circus I rated for the free parking. Bellagio for food and water fountain entertainment and of course Caesars Palace for The Hangover vibes 😅
I couldn't have described it better than ostentatious! As a fairly modest person who prefers the mountains and calm, I was surprised over how much I loved Vegas though! Everyone goes there to have a good time so the ambiance is amazing! But yes, it is ostentatious, and that itself can sometimes be a bit entertaining to watch!
Nice room; powder room for guest and his & hers bathrooms😊 Been in casino several times but never stayed in the hotel. In the US major hotels have conference areas or event spaces that organizations / business can rent out for training, seminars, workshops, ext. they can also be used for weddings. The rooms can connect to increase the space.
Daughter got married on the balcony over looking the fountains. My Son asked if he could walk my daughter from the room to the balcony. When he reached us he said dad ive never been so embarrassed. He said when we walked out of lift. The whole of the Casino went silent and stood up and applaud us until we reached the balcony lol. Balcony was over your right shoulder at the end Tim. We also had 3 displays of the fountains thrown in. And they asked if they wanted to jump in. But she looked at daughters dress and said thats not an American dress so maybe be not lol.
Visted Las Vegas in October 2019 to see family. As a treat we had lunch in the patisserie in the Bellagion Hotel & Casino. Wonderful day out in the strip, your right Tim the Hotel is mega in size, I've bagged fantastic memories in Las Vegas, fortunately, I stayed in the suburbs away from the buzz. Well done Tim I loved your video brought back many happy memories. 👏👏👏👏👏❤❤❤✈🏨🎆🎆🎆🎆⛲⛲⛲
For that price they would be replacing my bag from one of their on-site shops or professionally clean the bag. I normally do not complain at hotels unless the A/C or TV are broken but that bag was pretty dirty. It wasn't just something you could easily clean yourself. The size of that suite was nice.
My first thought on the three bathrooms is that the first one is for guests, if you are entertaining in your suite. This keeps the other ones off the bedroom private. What a beautiful hotel. Very comfortable and luxurious. I love the way the room is set up AND the color scheme. It’s a peaceful environment after the hustle and bustle of Vegas proper.
Love to see them (the posh hotels), Tim. I'd also like to see a standard room in some of the hotels and sometimes a really cheap hotel, too. Keep up the good work! 👍
That final bill was just mindblowing! That one night you stayed there, cost more than my rent for 3 months! (With the current exchange rate from Swedish kronor to USD, my rent, including rented parking space, is $531) I live in a small town in Sweden, in a 42m2 or about 450sqft one room apartment (with pretty huge kitchen in relation to apartment size) that was completely renovated and modernized in 2019
Loved the spacious room. Really loved all the floral carpets. I could never spend that much on a room. So fun to see inside of them. Hotel seemed too large. Took forever to get to the pool. Rather liked this Hotel.
Ime and my husband at the time we ate now divorced 😢, went to Los Vegas back in 2003 to the strip, went to alot of hotels there, and the grand canyon amd the down town but we didn't see this hotel, as we didnt have time to see them all but I wish I did, we stayed in the Hilton which is just off the strip. Lovely hotel and seeing the strip brings back memories. Thanks for the tour Tim.
I'm watching this on silent while listening to Gaby singing live at The Dock Tavern. The best of both worlds! She has an excellent voice. Special message for you Tim from me if she forgets 😆
My favourite hotel in Vegas Tim. We have stayed in standard rooms overlooking the strip. Last time I stayed was 12 years ago for £150 a night. My wife dropped her purse in the casino and only notice after about 10 mins. We thought we would never see it again but we were told to see one of the pit bosses and low and behold they had her purse with nothing missing. Large rooms are just a waste of money but I appreciate you are doing it for entertainment. Keep up the good work.
Have been to LV four times and stayed at the Bellagio three. Last time we stayed at Paris, France and it doesn't hold a candle to the Bellagio. It is a stunning hotel. If you can get fountain side dining in one of their restaurants its a magical experience. Thanks Tim for bringing back great memories!
The glass flower ceiling is made by fames artist Dale Chihuly. The price is ok. The best place to see fountains is outdoor seating in the restaurant Mon Ami Gabi across the street from Bellagio.
Eugh I think I would have made my escape, you kind of expect that in that place you and Gabi and Casper stayed i.e the sun cheap caravan holiday, but not a hotel in this calibre. As per usual a good video Tim.
Love the room and the bathrooms are amazing and when looking over the mountains my house is over there! The Botanical garden I love going there to see the garden every Holiday it is so beautiful.
I haven't stayed there, but you can book the cabanas by the pool without being a guest (we were staying at another MGM property). It was great for us to have the cabana because we had a group of about eight people so we could come and go as we pleased, there was always someone there to keep an eye on belongings and it was a nice base for us. That said, without eating or drinking very much it ended up being $100 per person.
Looks really nice, good to see inside the rooms and we love the Conservatory. We stay at the Cosmo, we book a one bed terrace fountain view suite, one of the few where you can sit out on the balcony and enjoy the fountains and views. Stock up at CVS and save a packet too 😊
Love your videos Tim! I love your details on checking EVERYTHING out in the room 😅! I swear that's so me and your accent is just a plus and funny at the same time! Good Job love the VIDEOS keep it up 👍
The cost for this was shocking, two of us are staying at the Luxor with flights included for several hundred dollars less for 7 days! Now I know the room isn't anywhere close to this one at the Bellagio, but wow.
Been to vegas a few times (niece used to live outside of LV) and we thought the Bellagio the best hotel. We used to get a regular room overlooking the fountains. Obviously nothing like that price lol. Not been for about 10 years now. Love the carpets !
Returned from Vegas a week ago and stayed at the MGM Grand .. no long queues for check as you check in 24 hours before you arrive through their app.. then scan QR code once your there recieve key cards automatically and away you go .. on leaving check out in your room via tv and drop key cards in box in the lobby 👍
Hi Tim - So nice to see the inside of The Bellagio again. Steve Wynn is responsible for bringing class and luxury to the next level when he arrived in Vegas with building the recently torn down The Mirage followed by The Bellagio. Both of which he sold to move on and build The Wynn followed by Encore. He purposely wanted to get away from the overtly busy, noisy central area tourist trap that the strip had become to build even more upscale. Wynn made his initial fortune, before his visions and arrival in Las Vegas, by becoming the top bingo parlour owner everywhere on the east coast when he took over from his father and built the business up. With MGM now managing the Bellagio (currently owned by an investment group) you can tell it lost a bit of the high end that is the signature of Steve Wynn. Though the display in the Observatory was very nice, it is just OK compared to how elaborate it was when Wynn owned it. When you were in the shopping corridor, you passed by Spago restaurant owned by famous Los Angeles chef Wolfgang Puck with the original Spago being in Beverly Hills. With Wynn the very high end restaurant that used to be there was called Picasso as in the painter. Why? Because Wynn had on the walls, his collection of genuine Picassos. After selling the two above hotels, he also sold his art collection. 😊
Those rooms are used a lot by businesses. They have all day meetings in the room, food is brought in, then they go out at night. That is an explanation for so many bathrooms. And chances are, the TV in the room pulls out from the wall so you can rotate it towards the bed
Three bathrooms two people! Doesn’t make sense. Bathrooms looked lovely. It all looked luxurious to me. Very clean, very spacious and all the mod cons. The Hotel displays look wonderful . It’s a huge hotel, the hallways are massive, certainly get your steps in there. T V in the bedroom is in the wrong place. Amazing fountain show. Thank You Tim great vlog as always

I have seen several iterations of Cirque De Soleil. Wonderful!
I’ve always said that i feel like i’ve been on holiday when i watch Tim’s videos 😂
What I remember most about any of my visits to Vegas, was all of the walking. Everywhere. Walk, walk, walk, walk - I was exhausted by dinner LOL
Imagine walking in 105F.
When I saw the ground floor foyer and corridors, it reminded me of The Atlantis in Dubai. I don’t enjoy staying in hotels where there’s hundreds of people milling/walking around and long queues to check in and have breakfast. A good informative video as always Tim 👏
Every slightly technical thing. Tim - "I've never understood how to use these"
"I'm baffled by this button on top of the toilet..." XD
Tim is perfectly understandable! I'm an engineer, just in my 30s and work in tech. However I'm not any better. When introduced to new technology I no longer ask "what" or "how". Instead I ask "why"! lol I think its all about age and maturity, and honestly Tim is doing quite well with technology for someone in his late 30s/low 40s!
Lovely room. Who’s Phillip Thomas on the tv. 😂
😀
I am convinced that if I stay at that resort one day, I would get lost in that resort every day!
Thanks a lot for sharing, really great job! 👍😄👏
Thank you Tim I love watching your videos seeing all the States and Country you have been too!
When I meet a foreigner and ask them what American cities they’d like to visit, I expectedly get New York, Los Angeles, and even my city of San Francisco. But I also always get Las Vegas, which is a surprise. I never expected Vegas to be considered an international destination.
I’m going to love this, thank you Tim!
You're so welcome!
We stayed in a suite in Vienna and it had 1 and 1/2 bathrooms. It was so nice!
Great tour Tim, thank you. Hope you enjoyed your time at this lovely hotel.
Thanks for all hard work you do Tim for making these amazing videos for us to watch
Nice room; powder room for guest and his & hers bathrooms😊
Been in casino several times but never stayed in the hotel.
(With the current exchange rate from Swedish kronor to USD, my rent, including rented parking space, is $531) I live in a small town in Sweden, in a 42m2 or about 450sqft one room apartment (with pretty huge kitchen in relation to apartment size) that was completely renovated and modernized in 2019
But you have to live in Sweden and you can't afford to drink - or have a sense if humour
I love the flower themed carpet in the hallway. It's very attractive.
I just lovee your reviews Tim, please keep them coming!😊
Loved the spacious room. Really loved all the floral carpets. I could never spend that much on a room. So fun to see inside of them. Hotel seemed too large. Took forever to get to the pool. Rather liked this Hotel.
We toured the Bellagio right after it opened. It was beautiful! The art museum was fabulous too.
Love the hotel. Been there a few times but it’s out of my price range to stay.
The bathrooms are his and hers with a small guest bathroom
I’m sure I heard Phillip Thomas shout “get out of my room” 😂
Who is Philip Thomas??
this series should never end
Ime and my husband at the time we ate now divorced 😢, went to Los Vegas back in 2003 to the strip, went to alot of hotels there, and the grand canyon amd the down town but we didn't see this hotel, as we didnt have time to see them all but I wish I did, we stayed in the Hilton which is just off the strip. Lovely hotel and seeing the strip brings back memories. Thanks for the tour Tim.
you are welcome Sarah
It has been decades since I stayed in a hotel. Thanks for the entertainment. I am happy to let your videos play rather than do that myself. Thumbs up.
I'm watching this on silent while listening to Gaby singing live at The Dock Tavern. The best of both worlds! She has an excellent voice. Special message for you Tim from me if she forgets 😆
I must apologise for my drunk wife dancing and singing badly with Gaby on "Don't stop me now." I feel a divorce and a UA-cam ban coming on! 😆😆😆
Thank you for sharing this hotel stay here. The key problem looked so crazy that you had to back down to the first floor chech-in!! A little crazy!😊
Sorry! In reference to door room problems. That was for the other new hotel that you just stsyed at there in Vegas.😊
I have always liked walking by the see the water fountain show there. This is a beautiful hotel to stay in!!😊
Oh The Oceans Eleven Hotel! Nice!
Great videos as always, appreciate these
Glad you like them!
Great video as always Tim
thanks Claire
The glass flower ceiling is made by fames artist Dale Chihuly. The price is ok.
The best place to see fountains is outdoor seating in the restaurant Mon Ami Gabi across the street from Bellagio.
Just saw a report that several hotels including this one has bedbugs 😮
I know!
Eugh I think I would have made my escape, you kind of expect that in that place you and Gabi and Casper stayed i.e the sun cheap caravan holiday, but not a hotel in this calibre.
As per usual a good video Tim.
People bring them unfortunately so it does say bad about us.
Love the room and the bathrooms are amazing and when looking over the mountains my house is over there! The Botanical garden I love going there to see the garden every Holiday it is so beautiful.
House has been taken over by a sickness bug 😣 very much in need of distraction with a great Walk with me upload. Thanks Tim 😅
Get well soon.
hope you get all better soon
Thank you!
Why did they have Welcome Philip Thomas on your TV screen…?! Great video, would be the Wynn hotel for me.
Good Job love the VIDEOS keep it up 👍
Thanks so much!!
Those gardens were AMAZING!
Great video! Please go to Scottsdale/Phoenix Arizona! You should try out The Phoenician Hotel!
I'll check it out!
Wow! The Bellagio is way better than when I stayed there in 2018.
Who’s Phillip Thomas on the TV 😅
The last time I went to Vegas was 1997, and I stayed at The Stardust. This is definitely a step up.
The cost for this was shocking, two of us are staying at the Luxor with flights included for several hundred dollars less for 7 days! Now I know the room isn't anywhere close to this one at the Bellagio, but wow.
Can I ask what site you booked through? or did you book it all separately?
@@ShakenSoul found price package through Expedia, then went to our local travel agent and booked the same package through them.
Having stayed in both, the Luxor isn’t a patch on the Bellagio. You get what you pay for imo 👍
Been to vegas a few times (niece used to live outside of LV) and we thought the Bellagio the best hotel. We used to get a regular room overlooking the fountains. Obviously nothing like that price lol. Not been for about 10 years now. Love the carpets !
That’s a suite though, they don’t all cost that much, the Luxor is very basic and thin walls
What an amazing job you have made for yourself Tim, for me it's way to see how the other half live. Thanks and hugs to the baba x
We stayed at the Bellagio 29 yrs ago for our honeymoon, I loved vegas so much I want to go back for my 30th anniversary next year ❤
Those rooms are used a lot by businesses. They have all day meetings in the room, food is brought in, then they go out at night. That is an explanation for so many bathrooms.
And chances are, the TV in the room pulls out from the wall so you can rotate it towards the bed
nope i tried lol
@@WalkWithMeTim okay then that's a weird place for the TV 😆
The reason there are 3 bathrooms. 1 is for ladies (the bath tub room) 1 is for men (the shower room) and the 1/2 bath is for guests.
His bathroom , hers and powder room for visitors because it’s a suite , you can invite people.
why don't you show the check-in. it would be important to know how friendly and helpful the staff is.
Not sure if it still works but the service at checkin would improve greatly if you presented your passport to them with a $10 bill tucked inside! 😩
