Squeee! I don't know why seeing the trusses up had me the most excited I've been in a while, but I'm just a bit thrilled! I am living my wild construction dreams vicariously through your workshop build, Jim! Thank you so much for sharing these videos, and for explaining the more technical details of what's happening and why. I am completely fascinated by all of it!
It’s fantastic sharing the progress of your new workshop and eventually your new home. We can’t wait to see what you produce in the new workshop. What a beautiful location!
Yes, Jim, I am very much enjoying what you’re putting out. I am very surprised in how fast you’re putting it all up. It looks awesome.😃👍🏽 I am very grateful that you have chosen to share with all of your fans.
Thank you for sharing Jim, awesome video. Some people always have something to say, but you hired a builder who knows what he’s doing, so just trust him and keep making these videos. God bless you and your family
Love this series -- thank you! Here I thought I had it bad not being able to rake up leaves in my dream garden more than I have, what with all the rain we've had here in western Washington state lately... There you all are, *building* in the snow!😊
It looks like very nice top soil 😊. THE SNOW 😮😮😮 … it’s making me shiver just watching you walk around in it …. It’s definitely a foreign concept here in Queensland Australia🥶 However loving the videos … thank you for taking us along with you 😊
Congratulations!! Coming along. Maybe the family can give you an early Christmas present and have a ‘shovel out the workshop party’. 😂😂. Love the music while the machines go double time.😊
As you were taking us round the inside of the shop, i kept thinking back to when the walls were laid in the foundation. Back then i could not picture what it would look like. I thought the roof was going to go on at the top of the cement walls…. Then next minute the foundation was being filled in and I was like…. What the heck is happening? Obviously i know nothing about building and it shows! Loving this series. I feel like this is becoming my shop too!
Wow! Congrats on the move and your brand new shop! One thing is for sure….its not undersized! I’m very happy for you…you deserve it and also I’m just a little jealous!
I love this bonus content. I started my construction career in the early 90s framing new houses here in Virginia, USA. It is very interesting to see and hear about differences in building code, especially due to weather demands. Thank you for including all of us in your journey. Cheers!! Designer epoxy
Honey I'm going to go shovel out the workshop! Geez. I grew up in Michigan right on Lake Huron. We got tons of snow like that all winter long. Shop looks very nice. Can't wait to see the first project come out of it.
Looking good! Thank you for bringing us along on the build journey. That is going to be some workshop. Winter construction always has its downsides, but your builder appears to have it all in hand.
Jim, I am truly happy for you. I am sure that all of the stuff going on can just make a lot of people throw up their hands and give up. Glad that you are sharing this with your members 😊
Very interesting and educational. I've learned a lot even if I never need to use half of what I've picked up watching these videos. The workshop is looking great!
Minus 13! You’re builders are doing a grand job considering the freezing temperatures. It’s looking good. It looks big now but I’m sure once you have got all your equipment in there it will feel a little cosier.
Love the Workshop Build series! Can't get over how fast it is all coming together. Very interesting to watch. Thanks for sharing it! I'm so excited for you! 😺😺😺
It is looking good Jim. I know you must be excited and you will have so much space. I wish I had half that space for my shop. Looking forward to the next build video. Thanks.
Looks great, I to was curious about why they didn't just dig a trench for the footings but figured it had to be about the compacting of the of the main slab. Also with it being so cold, you don't have to worry about that little dozer getting stuck in the mud.
WOW!!!! How exciting!! It's amazing how they got the trusses up in one day...looks like a ton of work! I'm really curious to see how you arrange everything in there!
Love seeing the shop progress. Another good reason to not do an epoxy floor is that the saw dust will make if SLICK. Bathroom, show room, casting room, office, all a different story. But not in the workshop area.
Thank you for letting us watch as your new shop is built. Mother Nature is just doing her job and your construction crew are able to keep reasonably on track. 🤗💚
This is looking great Jim! I'm really enjoying watching the whole process. Thanks for the update on your progress. Now I'm just waiting for Friday's video.

Thanks for taking us along for the ride…glad to see the progress even with the typical NB winter weather.
This is actually not a normal winter, by now we should have a minimum of a foot of snow by now and a lot colder. Thanks for watching!
So glad the roof is on now. Hope it does wam up for the rest of the land levelling. Every kid with a toy dozer and a sandboxes' dream job lol.

Yes, it’s not fun to build in the winter, lol. Thanks
It looks like very nice top soil 😊. THE SNOW 😮😮😮 … it’s making me shiver just watching you walk around in it …. It’s definitely a foreign concept here in Queensland Australia🥶
However loving the videos … thank you for taking us along with you 😊
My pleasure! Thanks

She’s done now, lol. Thanks
You have one heck of a nice Toboggan run now with that dirt moved!
It will be quite a sliding hill when it’s done. Thanks
