This idea is amazing! I just had this experience today with digging under a stack of clothes to get the shirt I wanted and then saw this video. The execution was brilliant and that splayed wood really looked great.
And the off comment still chewing the saucisson and baguette was gold. It has a Les Nuls or Les inconnus vibe (two very famous comedian troops whose humour peaked in the 90s and shaped the following generation of comedians).

The scene after the post-build montage was the very best/funniest/most appropriate payoff ending to a UA-cam I have ever watched. Bravo, sir!! You are a master builder, technician and storyteller!!
Absolutely wonderful job. Design, engineering, build quality. All very well done. The amount of narration is perfect. Take negative comments with a grain of salt. Your work and sense of humor are excellent! 😊
This was a very entertaining and informative video. Thank you for all your comments about your reasoning for this beautiful and practical dresser. This video was wonderful! I’m glad you only showed the amount of “perfecting the positioning of drawer slides” footage that you did, because that part was stressful 😅!

Excellent craftsmanship as usual, thanks for the longer format it's always a treat! Just do what you like, it seems to fit anyway for most of us here :)

The video is perfect. Not too long. Exactly the right amount of talking. The chest is beautiful wood, I would never get tired of looking at the wood patterns themselves, and the piecing required in the sides of the chest adds to the visual interest with the grain and the spalting. I have wanted a dresser just like this all my life; I hate having my clothes stacked up and hate drawers that are never the right sizes for the clothes. Your design, to my eyes is very beautiful, and I would never tire of its proportions and lines. Now I just need piles of money and you might make one for me too. Love your videos!
Outstanding work, sir! Such commitment. I'm not sure that you could have made the video any shorter and fully told the whole story. Certainly I came here originally for your woodturning, but whatever I can learn about wood and Engineering is great with me. As for you not being a studied or accredited engineer, designing what you designed was far above the average. There was plenty of practical Engineering in your work. I have the benefit of having a father who is a journeyman mechanic and taught me all things metalworking while my one grandfather was a fine woodworker. When I picked up turning it was nice to have both skills to apply to what I was doing no, I didn't really combine them much until I was asked to do a golf ball display which was essentially an independently rotating lazy Susan. It was nice to be able to have threaded shafts in there along with locked nuts to support each bearing for each level of the display. Last, I really enjoy the way you handle criticizing comments, especially those who don't grasp your joke when you're complimenting women or just being light-hearted. I hope you're beautiful work helps you develop abdominal muscles of steel.

Awesome job! As a victim of deep drawers and random folding, I NEED a cabinet like that and cannot believe they are not available! But I can see the work in it and suspect that I am also a victim of not enough money to buy one! 😃 You are a skilled creator of not only well-presented videos but also on beautiful, practical and novel furniture. Well done!
Beautiful piece of furniture and I love those concealed drawer slides. You asked about the video so I will give my opinion. Yes, a bit long. No, you don't talk too much -- the details on how and why you did things are important. I like to see "different" furniture and learn from it. Your dresser looked interesting, so I started watching, with the sound off, frequently advancing the time in the video. Until, near the end, when you pulled out a drawer and I couldn't see the drawer slides. I knew I had to turn on the sound, back up the video and pay close attention.

Building your own custom clamps shows how versatile you are with your knowledge
Your videos are always interesting, and this one definitely seems the most complex! Great work!
Phenomenal work. Love the commentary and the jokes.
Well done!
Olivier - You're a real professional which shows in each unique, artistic project you do. Thank God, you don't do river tables. Merry Christmas!
Love the texture of the wood. Good job!!
