    Begin by standing on one leg with a slight bend in the knee. Keep your core engaged and your upper body upright.
    Bend the knee of the supporting leg slightly to prepare for the hop. Keep your arms relaxed and ready to assist with the movement.
    Generate power by quickly extending your hip, knee, and ankle of the supporting leg. Simultaneously swing your arms forward to aid in propulsion.
    Propel yourself forward and upward, extending your jumping leg and aiming to cover as much horizontal distance as possible.
    While in the air, maintain a tight and compact body position. Keep your arms close to your body, and bring your non-jumping leg up in front of you to help with balance and counterbalance.
    Focus on landing softly and quietly on the balls of your jumping foot. Bend your knee and hip of the supporting leg to absorb the impact and maintain stability.
    Aim to maintain control and balance after the landing. Avoid taking additional steps or losing stability.
    From the landing position, you can either transition into another single-leg broad hop on the same leg or switch to the other leg for alternate repetitions.
