I have a 2023 GC 4xe Base Model with Luxury Group II. MSRP of $66K. Tax credit of $7500 used by Stellantis as cap cost reduction on lease was very helpful. Dealer gave some love too. I did not buy the car for fuel efficiency. I deserve demerits for that. I got the power set up for just that. Power. Here's the best part. You do not have to plug this car in. That's right. You can if you are into hyper mileage but you don't have to. In hybrid mode the power is modulated by the computer. If you accelerate hard it grabs both the gas and electric systems and is much quicker than the Hemi. That's off off the line, on-ramp acceleration or passing. If you run the car in e-Save, set the e-Save mode to recharge it recharges very efficiently as you drive. Using max re-gen helps a bit too. If you accelerate aggressively in e-Save it grabs both the gas and electric systems and it takes off as well or even better than in E-Hybrid mode. I have 2500 miles on the car and I have yet to plug it in. I toggle back and forth between E-Hybrid and e-Save and that's it. The car is fast.
I just got 23 Overland 4XE and I must say, Jeep did such a great job with this one. No joke, this thing rides like a Range Rover...period. It is so quite and so comfortable on a rough roads due to the air shocks, such a pleasure. The Mc sounds system is amazing. You need to tweak it a bit and lower the base and a concert truly sounds like one. Did a short lease of 24 months to see how I like the Plug-In system. Never had one.
Great review, looks like the same powertrain that has been available in the Wrangler 4xe for the past 2 model years. On a 240v outlet, you can charge this Jeep in about 2.5 hours. I think you have to be in 4 Hi Auto (Wrangler) to get the full benefit of the powertrain... not sure about the GC.
Great review. I really appreciated the detail. On cost, $7500 federal tax credit gets applied to sales / leases (taken off lease price b/c lease holder gets it). Check to see if your state offers any incentives as well.

Wow! This is my favorite Jeep Full-size SUV.
Great job with your content as always George.
The Grand Wagoneer/Wagoneer is the full-size. This is midsize.
I have the same in with no 4XE… got the hemi… love it !!!
Lets hope pricing will come down one day, I just don't see the price=investment in this case still.
Agreed
Yes. I would want more electric range at this price. Phevs like this should be minimum of 40 miles of range. 25 miles was so 5 years ago for phevs.
I need this Jeep in my life lol… time to upgrade my 16 v6 Cherokee
Same here, just upgraded from 19 Cherokee. Trust me, you will enjoy this car.

Gotta go e-save mode for all the horses.
🙌
I have the 2022 Wrangler Rubicon 4xe that leaks. So may be it’s a alternative for 4xe without the headache.
Hey G, when u gonna have a Z car on here? 🙈🐧🐧
