i have this model,i only use for browsing and watching stuff,i love it, the battery is brilliant lasts all day and never hear the fan or feel any heat and the display is amazing. The number pad is useful if you swipe down from top left corner it brings up the onscreen calculator, it has everything a basic user like myself needs though i never use the pen or touchscreen theyre useful to have should you want to.I fully recommend this laptop
hey bro I'm thinking to buy this one, may you please tell me if there is any colour fringing (OLED fringing - the slight separation of colours along the edges of text or images, especially in high-contrast areas) or any kind of flickering since I'm buying this for learning and programming I really want to know about this things. please reply if I should go for this one
With a starting price of $699 I am not going to quibble much. It has a lot of positives going for it from the good port selection, the gorgeous OLED screen to the clear webcam and internal mics as well as the great battery life. This is a great laptop in my opinion especially for those who are on a budget and don’t wish to spend too much money on a laptop. Thank you for the very thorough review once again Andrew! 👍😁
I just got this laptop delivered. First impressions are good, I'm mostrly struggling because I haven't used windows in a long time and I am adapting. The big test is coming tomorrow when I edit some photos and video. I'm glad that you have pretty good PROS about this laptop.
I am a big fan of Asus products, BUT for this one here-- It does overheat quickly if you are multitasking. The battery life is not that great. Since you have reviewed both, Lenovo Yoga 7i and Asus Zenbook 14; in your honest opinion, which one is better?
The 2023 edition means you can find some steals on last year's version. I bought a 2022 base model (i5 1240P, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD) open box from Best Buy for just $353.
As always such a fantastic review! Been looking to asus for awhile and would love to see a review on the newest asus zenbook s 13 flip! I know you have a lot on your plate right now but this is just a suggestion! But a great video either way, your my favorite tech reviewer!
thats where the price differs i think. I really wanted the 5302 13 (the 2022 one), it was perfect for me. But couldn't find when I was in US last December, now it seems even harder to get. And didn't like the refresh (with intel)
@@diegoms89 Maybe - but last yearz Zenbook 14 had the 5825U and 5625U, which are more or less the same chips as the 7730U and 7530U. It's shameless that they didn't even do a proper refresh.
Hi Andrew, quick question... Is this display full glass? 'cause i hate the design choice the majority brands makes that has sort of a degree where the screen ends to the bezel. I prefer full as my surface pro, the macbooks, the zenbook 13s... Thanks in advance
The ASUS ZenBook Flip S 13 OLED had all these bells and whistles running a 12th-gen Intel chip. But the huge plus on the Flip S 13 was that it is a convertible laptop and only weighed 1.1kg (about 2.6lbs). I wish ASUS refreshed the Flip S 13 with a 13th-gen Intel. The ZenBook 14 Flip is too heavy at over 3lbs to use as a tablet.
Nice laptop for the price. Camera and mics are good. Speakers are good for a windows laptop. Numpad on touchpad not much practical use. Display very good. For the difference in price I would consider the ryzen 7 with a larger ssd and more ram which makes more makes more sense than this one. Price wise both are good value. Great review.
This is a great one, it was great already last year (with Ryzen 5/7 5625U/5825U), so same CPU and I think most specs stayed the same. I am excited for them to make this same model with a newer CPU architecture

I have a ThinkPad, so yes I know about fingerprints LOL! Ended up buying a small spray bottle of isopropyl alcohol, I spray a tiny bit onto a cloth then wipe down the laptop (chassis not the screen). Keeps it at least somewhat presentable. As far as the Asus seems like a great home laptop with that gorgeous display.

I like asus products this I dont know why they keep using non Zen 4 SKUS, I think the 3 in 7530u means, this is just a repackaged zen 3 instead of zen 4, no?
Hello Sir, I hope you are doing well Concerning this laptop : does the fan spin when you are doing very basic tasks (solely reading a book for example) ?
Great review of this laptop, although I am a strong supporter of those from Dell, Asus is also impressive, especially the matrix deserves a powerful plus.
Same models where i live in England is for amd 5 £999 and amd 7 £1299 I don’t know how prices can be that much different in us compared to Europe it’s not fair way bargain in US common ASUS we want same prices
I had this zenbook with an i7 1260p, it heated up like crazy, the fan noise is unbearable even though I was just surfing the web.. Is this the case with this amd 7730u processor?the answer will help me if on that zenbook I couldn't listen to the fan constantly spinning and cooling 1260p ❤
It has no right to exist. It's performance is within Margin-of-Error range of the Barcelo AMD CPUs. I understand that they're supposed to be like refreshes of those chips, but they may as well be the same chips with a few software updates. The heinous part of this is that the last AMD Zenbook 14s had the exact chips they're refreshing with the 7530U and 7730U. The 5825U and 5625U. Disgusting
Asus laptop is badly build and low quality laptop. It easily overheating and shut down itself, very annoying. Even you are just running light and simple task like browsing, fan can suddenly running like crazy, and it can just shut down itself. Multiple attempts to contact Asus support also no use, they are not helpful, not competent, seems like only ditching out relevant and useless suggestion. I will never buy Asus again.
In Europe at least where I live, the price is still above $1000. We're getting the short end of the stick here.
Every laptop is in the US cheaper than Europe 😢
I bought the ryzen 5 8gb ram for 650€ but it’s refurbished and it doesn’t have software
So what. You live in Europe, stop bitching.
@@badnai Cause there is no tax included in the US price
And in Australia it is $1900

Wish it had at least a 7735u (6800u)
Or even the 7840u. Would’ve been an instant purchase
Right? Great machine (I have the year-ago Intel version) but no Phoenix CPU seems like a missed opportunity.

Zenbook all day
Finally found a proper review for this laptop 😅 thank you
HI, mine has Screen-door effect and I read that it should be normal with OLED touch screen. Mine is very obvious, did you notice this as well? Thanks
This is a great PC :) Thanks for a great and good video about this pc :)

Great review!
Are you going to review the ASUS ZenBook Pro 14 OLED (UX6404)?
Yes expecting it this week hopefully
Yes I would love to see the review of UX6404 too!
Greetings from the Netherlands
hello please tell me which is better to choose macbook air or samsung book 2 pro 360?
What’s the better choice at the same price UX3402 with i5 1340P 16GB/1Tb or UM3402 with AMD 7 7730U 16GB/1Tb.
Hello, can you make a review of asus oled 15 um3504da? There aren't any on youtube
When do you expect the HP Envy x360 13.3 for 2023 will be announced?
This is a great value for money machine especially for the not very nit picky average consumer.
Would the Asus Zenbook 14x Oled Q410VA that you showed on the performance graph be a better buy, its $200 cheaper surprisingly?
Why are the 2 top right buttons switched?
Hi there. I’m in doubt between this Asus and Dell XPS 13 9315 i5 16GB RAM, 512GB umber color. What’s your opinion?

The "thunderbolt lightning" sign, means just Thunderbolt port, two them
It is too simple but nothing had been told.
Is this better than S13?
I still save my money for this laptop 😊
is there color fringing, how does the text look in programming?
Hi Andrew, will you be reviewing the 15 inch model(UM3504)? It's equipped with Ryzen 7735U
OLED touch screens have big defect. The digitizer layer causes grain on the OLED screen. Did you notice it?
Why is this not a thing on phones???
I have plans to buy UM3402YA-OLED-KM731X. In my country the price right now is about 1100 euros. Do you recommended or any other to consider?
compare with Zenbook 14x Oled Um5401, which one is better?
Can you do the vivobook?

Ux3402 is available here. Is that new version too?
is this zenbook okey for a new-grad software engineer?(I dont plan gaming)
Which is better zenbook 14 UM3402YA and zenbook 14 UX3402za?

Does it have palm rejection?
Is it metal body??
It's a shame that it doesn't support FreeSync and the OLED has a nasty "screen door effect". Those are dealbreakers for me, otherwise it's great.
Got the 420 at best buy for $750 I7 16 Gig of Ram
aw man, us europeans can only dream about laptop prices like the ones in the US
is it good for coding?
What about the touchscreen😭
Will photoshop work well on this?
