This is almost perfect! All it needs is the yoga type hinge so it can go tablet mode and also pen support for artists on the go. Asus have a winner 2nd gen product if they include those two features. A bigger battery would also boost sales a lot. Great coverage lon thank you!

I grabbed the Intel Core Ultra 7, full HD, 1tb sdd, 16gb RAM version for $799 when it was on sale at Best Buy a couple of weeks ago and love it. Amazing value (especially compared to Dell these days).
To bad the Intel Arc graphics are trash, full of bugs and drivers issues. I had it too and can't even open DOOM or Warzone, nothing I did worked... Intel still sucks at making something good. The AMD version is the better option.
So, if that laptop comes out on Amazon, then will the price point of it be the same as what it is when released on Walmart?
Great looking laptop for the price. My only wish would be that the RAM was upgradable in some way. Thankfully the SSD is.
This is good value for a laptop in the mid-range sector. Obviously, premium laptops will be better, but they cost nearly twice as much (XPS 14, Galaxy Book4 Pro, LG Gram 14, Surface Laptop 6, etc.).
OLED is now standard, so not sure that is exciting anymore as it is pretty much default now. MiniLED is the new premium display option due to higher brightness and better HDR. But for ultrabooks, SDR is more important, and OLED is great for that.
I have been using mine for almost a week. What a fingerprint magnet!!!!! Otherwise, it's a perfect laptop and playable with Forza Horizon 4 (which crashes the Zenbook 14 OLED Q425MA).
Can the Bing button be mapped to something useful like install Linux?
Laptop can't charge + send video using a single USB-C cable. Tried connecting it to my LG widescreen with 90W power delivery and didn't work. Asus support said the USB-C ports on the laptop only support one function at a time. Will be returning laptop tomorrow.
Why, after all these years, does Linux keep on having problems with audio drivers? It's crazy.

We needed more games tests... On all UA-cam everyone is testing the Intel version gaming side...
It's a shame that it doesn't support Freesync. It'd be good for Mame.
For those who havent seem, hardware canucks did a video on these and a Lenovo that had intel and amd options and found that the asus is performing badly with intel due to what looks like throttling. Power usage drops to under 30W. Likely a tuning issue by Asus
I thought Meteor Lake was supposed to be so much more efficient than 13th gen? Seems like Asus screwed it up.
