The Best Way to Mount the UltraView to a Spot Hogg

So I’m wanting to buy the original UV3, and I have a fast Eddie XL triple stack, do I HAVE to buy the uv QD adapter or will it mount onto the stock one?

Not sure if you ended up getting a rod but I have a brand new one .375 you can have for free. I ordered and don’t need it
