    The bonus pin does have a indicator. You have to install it. It a daul indicator that replaces your single fixed.

    best setuo video i have watched so far. I had to cut my tape short to make work #21, so I have done something wrong but I did see other people cutting their tapes short. I am going to follow you steps and redo my sight in and see if I can actually install the full tape. Saw another video today that talks about the bonus pin which I am glad you can actually use a 4th pin four. It made no sense to make a high end sight with a guessing pin? UV did a poor job marketting that 4th pin as they called it a fun pin or something. Glad to see i can swap the pin out!

      I’m also running into a problem. I had my peep sight to now the first go around, got it moved up and still having the problem with my tape sitting to low on the rail that I can’t screw it on. All these videos of people sighting theirs in less than an hour has me mind blown. Wish there was a better way than having to go from 20 yards right to 60.

    Just picked up the UV slider, I switched from an HHA tetra max, it’s an awesome sight but wanted to see what the slider is all about.
    I was a little confused about the sight in process for the slider and was having a little trouble with finding my elevation.
    But thanks to your video, my confusion was cleared up and I just have to get back outside and restart the sight in process for peace of mind.
    Thanks for making this video, it was well articulated and easy to follow. Plus you just gained a new follower. 🤙🤘🏻

    Just use a left handed sight tape on the other side for your bonus pin. Just put the indicator on the yardage is. My bonus pin is 63 yard and I’m good out to 130 with my setup and all the yardages are good, just shooting with the bonus pin

      @@SandSArchery Another great video by the way, Justin. thank you. I noticed the draw action as well and figured you had a shoulder problem. I draw same as you - in part I do it that way so as to limit motion when an elk is in close (lots of folks make a lot of bow movement at the archery range, pointing the bow at the sky, etc.). I also hurt my shoulder in a fall when chukar hunting a few years ago and it is just now recovering.....I've tried to draw "properly" but that isn't going to happen anytime soon. I'm just grateful that I can still draw 65-70 lbs right now - no doubt you feel the same.

    Great video man. Are you or anyone else running into the problem with commiting to a sight tape. I have shot over 100 arrows and still havent decided on a sight tape. I have my 20 set just fine but i think im being to picky cuz im waiting tell i literally stack 6 or more arrows perfectly at 60 before i choose a tape. Amazing sight tho but terrible customer service probably one of the worst in the country lol

  • @j_deck275
    @j_deck275 6 місяців тому

    With being able to adjust each pin and where they correspond on the sight, when you scroll down to let’s say 60 yards on the middle pin, do the top and bottom pins accurately shoot at the corresponding yardage on the sight tape or do those “default” numbers go out the door once you move the sight up or down?

    • @SandSArchery
      @SandSArchery  6 місяців тому

      They will shoot the corresponding yardages, as long as they are sighted in for the correct distance in the default position and the sight tape is correct, any pin will work at what ever distance

  • @slave601
    @slave601 23 дні тому

    So basically it’s just a 20,30 and 40 yd sight. The bonus pin on bottom all lands out yardage wise however fast the bow is? I was hoping it would be a 50 yd pin. Guess not.

    Good information on the sight, but I made it to about 3:25. Your draw and slapping that trigger is out of this world. I'm sure you make it work, but it's like nails on the chalkboard for me.

    Did the blue dot pop off on the first 60yard shot? What were you aiming at then for your group?🤷‍♂️ I wish this sight allowed the 20 yard to be at the farthest roll up location. Allowing you to return to start without even having to look

    • @SandSArchery
      @SandSArchery  4 місяці тому

      My blue dot was just some painters tape. Totally agree with you, doesn't make sense that some of these sights don't allow you to have a default set position. You really have to pay attention to your sight tape or it could definitely end bad.

    @SandSArchery when you sighted that 60y pin did you adjust the elevation so you were shooting groups at the bullseye, or just the groups that were high?

    • @SandSArchery
      @SandSArchery  7 місяців тому +1

      after I shot the fixed middle pin at 20 and got that set, I moved back to 60 yards and shot the same pin to get the elevation set. I dialed out until the elevation was good. In the video I was shooting a small blue dot above the bullseye just to help me focus on a small point, Yellow target with a yellow pin was hard to focus on, so thats why I was shooting the blue dot. Once that was done I can than look at my indicator and see what sight tape I needed to install.
