  • I compare most of the high-end slider bow sights and give you my opinion on each. At the end I'll share my thoughts and which one I like the best. I'll put together more videos as new sights are released.

    Thank you for the great comparison of sights. I liked it enough to make me become sub. # 431. Hopefully we will see you add at least two zeros to that before the year is out. Good luck with your channel, I’m looking forward to seeing more of your work. Best wishes to you and your family. ✌️🇺🇸

    For the price of the UV Slider, you can buy a new sight, aftermarket strings for my solution ss and probably still a dozen arrows from black eagle. Idk if the overall sight is worth 600 plus taxes....maybe it is, but the price of the UV slider at 600 plus taxes....when I only payed 800 brand new for my solution ss doesn't make a whole lot of sense. What perks you may be getting from the UV slider, you can dang near get the technology in other sights for a FRACTION of the price. 😅

      It’s definitely expensive! Can easily spend more in accessories than the bow anymore. I agree for the price and some lack in features there’s sights that are better. I appreciate the feedback and think there’s a lot of others that agree. The UV does have some features that make it easier to set up and use. Hopefully this video can help people decide what would work best for them.

      I appreciate the positive feedback! I did see the new spot hog sight and will probably be getting it to compare to some other new ones that just came out as well. A lot of great sights out there.

      You aren’t wrong bro, I’ve had cbe fixed and single pin slider, and trophy ridge did all the same as them, but I just picked up the UV Slider & it’s just a more crisp sight idk im hitting 85-100 yard shots and stacking them tighter than i was doing at 40 with my others n I love my cbe sight and scopes but im really digging this UV slider I’ve only been shooting it 3 days. The pin fibers are bright especially when the light is on. But you aren’t wrong it took me a bit to buy one because of the price but it’s worth it to me

    Are you looking for a axcel landslyde with Montana black gold pins and a spot hogg housing just a little lighter on weight,but strong, with the adjuster wheel like the black gold?
    That's where I'm at, I own most of the sights you have and that would be a winner for me with all the axis adjustments.
    Great video.

    Hello. Good review. I like content creators that aren't afraid to highlight the drawbacks as well as the strengths. It won't ingratiate you to the manufacturers, but I think honesty with your audience is more important.
    One question: do the Landslydes ship with a full set of metal tapes now? When I bought mine I only received one in the pack and the others were available for purchase separately.

      They come with 8 metal sight tapes. They are front and back so get 16 options.

      @@mattyice9923 bought my first bow ever in July 23. Couldn’t see a multi pin old man eyes. Needed a single pin. Loved the vertical pin. You need to know your fps speed to set it up digitally. I have to tweak it a bit over 50 yards. You can also set it to different set ups and save those if you shoot different set ups. I haven’t done that. Also put a sight tape on and you don’t need the digital read out in case. I love it.

      @@mattyice9923 it was for me and this is my first bow ever. Been shooting it for 6 months. Only potential draw back is hunting if a deer moves quickly and you have to move the sight. For me it’s the one I could see. I like to shoot 3d so it works well for me.

    • @thehiddenoutdoors6535
      @thehiddenoutdoors6535  3 місяці тому

      I personally haven’t used the Cbe. I’ve heard mixed things on the Cbe. The things that I read that I didn’t like was that the pins being bent of not in a straight line. I wish black gold would make a vertical 3 pin. I personally would go with black gold.

    The Blackgold dovetail that you have will not fit the Mathews integrated riser. Blackgold does offer a dovetail that does, which I just checked on at a shop. It’s s extra over the regular price of the sight. The best dovetail for the Mathews integrate is the Axcel. From what I’ve been told Mathews designed their dovetail based on Axcel not the other way around. Axcel actually makes a sight specific to Mathews with a Mathews signature. Fits nice and tight.

    • @thehiddenoutdoors6535
      @thehiddenoutdoors6535  6 місяців тому

      I didn’t think about bow specific. Now they all have different mounting options.

    • @brycepick
      @brycepick 5 місяців тому +1

      Mathews did not design their dovetail around Axcel. That is a huge misconception because Axcel was the first mathews branded sight. Another high end sight company turned down mathews offer because they couldn't keep up with their regular demand and they wanted to not push their dealers and current customers orders out to fill Mathews sight orders. Axcel got it because they were the 2nd choice and where willing to take on the extra demand... The bridgelock was actually specifically designed to be universal with as many dovetail bars as possible and purposely did not want it to be a specific dovetail design. They actually worked with multiple sight companies ahead of time to ensure that the dovetail would be compatible. Please stop spreading the false rumor that it was designed specifically for one sight as that is the opposite of what it was actually designed to be.

      @@brycepick I actually got that info off of a post like yours. I did not have inside info which you may have. But like most things on the internet, they have to be taken with a grain of salt, until such info can be confirmed.

    • @brycepick
      @brycepick 5 місяців тому

      @@josephfolsom2030 I understand it wasn't you who started it, I'm just trying to get more accurate info spread rather than inaccurate info. Give mathews the credit they deserve making something universal so minimal tweaks had to be made in order to use their technology. They did a great job on it and I haven't owned a mathews since the outback, so I am far from a mathews fanboy. My other comment may have come across as a little aggressive (after I reread it), it was not meant to be and I do apologize if it seemed that way. With so many bars in so many different shapes and sizes they did a fantastic job making all of them to mesh with the critical surfaces in order to make them repeat and work. Big props to mathews for making it work so well for so many different sights.
