Is this a mini Goldwing? I can't afford a luxury motorcycle, but I might be able to get one of this maxi scooter if it's comfortable enough. And is it better than the Burgman 650? Thank you!
Coming from a Tmax and a VFR800-VTEC this feels like a mini Goldwing. I can cruise 120kmh with my system helmet up. (not recommended for safety) I have a MRA spoiler on the windscreen
I'm sure this bike/scooter is all you say it is. I haven't ridden it so I can't comment but there are a few things that detract from the bike. The two points you make; cruise control and non-adjustable screen are important. I own a Suzuki Burgman 650AN Executive - it is a 2009 model - sadly the model was discontinued in 2018. It is to my mind the benchmark for maxi scooters. It has an electrically adjustable screen (can be done while riding) and electrically fold-in mirrors (also done while riding). Under seat storage for 2 full face helmets and two glove boxes as well as a lockable storage space in the dash. Add a top box and you've got storage beaten. The engine is quick and responsive, the bike can handle the daily city commute and open road touring easily. The transmission is CVT with a manual over ride so that on the motorway there is a 6th over drive gear giving improved fuel economy. On top of that there is a power boost button for more revs when in auto mode giving extra power for overtaking if needed. It is a wide bike so although lane splitting is legal in Australia (where I live) it is not always advisable. The one drawback I have is that the bike has no reverse. It is a heavy bike - I think about 220kg wet so an electrically operated speed limited reverse would be a good idea in places where front in angle parking is required. Honda has such a set up on the Goldwing so it is possible and useful. Thanks for your review.
It's a bike because it takes a plate. It's a scooter because it's twist and go. It's not a scooter because it doesn't have a floorboard. It's not a moped because those have pedals. But a moped is anything 40cc and under. The floorboard defines the scooter. That's how we can reconcile scooters with and without motors. They both have a floorboard
The DCT is so much more responsive. It pulls away with 1mm throttle. and it stays low in the rpm. Changing the chain and sprockets is much easier than changing a belt, and sliders and pulleys.
Most reviews don't cover the height of the rider and the inside leg measurement ....foot to peg distance for instance . Or in this case the foot to floor so to speak
To be honest, I can't quite accept that this was a genuinely objective review. Your statements seemed to always end with an implied 'but' waiting to be applied. Nevertheless, it was a good general review, even if some of the downsides you mention came across as being a little whiny. Don't get me wrong, some of the downsides I do agree with, such as electric windscreen, cruise control as standard, and perhaps, handlebar covers for the hands, but I think you have to approach this product for what it is, a bike with elements of both scooter and bike, a kind of hybrid if you will. For me personally, its GT aspects are what I would buy it for, having the comfort and practicality of a scooter with the power and range of a 'sports' bike when you need it. This bike is certainly on my list.
My XMAX 400 being rubber belt will always do superb controllable deceleration from any speed with total smoothness - was thinking of going for a DCT but seriously concerned if left in auto, will it downshift on a fast downhill in the wet spoiling everyone's day?
I doubt honda would miss such a big concern , by letting a product with their name on it, get out the factory line , without taking that into consideration. Japanese are quite thorough. 👍
You can customize it how you like in the user program, but its fairly intelligent in standard mode. For total control you can switch gears when ever you want in auto, or go completely manual.
Nice Review. Shame it looks like it will not be released in the USA. I have a 2011 Suzuki Bergman that I've loved for 10 years but wanted to get a more modern bike. What a frustration here in the states! I would have thought with the aging population, maxi-scooters would have grown in popularity (I'm an ex-motorcyclist). But sadly, Wrong. Bergman discontinued, Silverwing discontinued, BMW 650 GT discontinued, Yamaha TMax discontinued. Ugh.....
As he looks at the underseat storage the cameraman makes sure he lowers his camera so that we really don't get to see it. The only thing we saw was the actual underside of the seat, NOT the storage itself. Lame.
Blimey! Of all the things to be critical of, camerawork of the under seat storage is a bit far-fetched. Look at the full review on the website if you’re that desperate.
Bennetts, I'm not desperate. I own the best scooter ever made.. a Honda Helix. And I've owned one long before you guys even cared to review them. A scooter is all about convenience. Yes, people care about storage on them. Mine has a built in trunk.
Thanks very much. It's an AGV Pista GP - it's actually about four years old and has a custom paint job by Liam at LDC. Enjoy your Forza and do let us know how you get on with it. Cheers, Michael
I just wish they kept the price at the NC750D Integra level (which is basically the same bike without some of the fancy bits) which would make it a lot more competitive. I wouldn't buy it at this price. I'd rather get a NC750X with DCT honestly and save some money, or a Burgman 650 if I wanted the big touring scooter vibe, OR Kymco AK550/Tmax 560 if I wanted a sporty scoot.
I paid already but haven't received yet because of lockdown in my country.I switched from Xmax 300 which i have been using happily for 3 years.Adjustable wind screen, cruise control and heated grips are missing but not a big deal for me though. In my opinion, they are going to bring them on the next generation as an "INNOVATION" purpose. If they put everything in first series, what are they going to offer next?Have to be something missing at the beginning. I am 1.79 cm tall,I hope i dont lay down to the front in order to handle handlebar.OEM accessories are very lacking with this motobike which is another downside at the moment.

It's a lot of money for a scooter. I hear other reviewers say the same thing. What exactly does that mean? A scooter is basically what? A step through? An automatic? A CVT? Those are the differences basically. Are those cons in any way? So if it didn't have any of these would it not be a scooter? Or does it come down to top speed and quickness off the line that is what differentiates scooters and proper motorcycles? I know Burgman owners don't really care about any of those things. It's comfortable, fast enough, agile, smooth and has a lot of storage space. There are people touring with those Burgman 650s.

Hi what bike license can you buy with that bike because I have a Honda Forza 125 right now then I’m going to be doing my full bike license this year and hopefully I would like to buy the Honda Forza 750 by the end of this year 😀😀
Hi Daniel, you'd need a full 'A' motorcycle licence. The Honda Forza 750 has a power output of 43 kW (58 bhp), which exceeds the 35 kW (47 bhp) limit needed for an A2 licence. The bike has to be restricted to become A2 licence compliant. Hope that helps. Cheers, Michael
The front lighting is as it should be - all integrated designed look. At the rear, not so much. Those little toothpicks with a light on the end (turn signals) don't cut it. The rear should be integrated. Larger engine, DCT, great mileage, comfort - yeah. Adjustable screen, cruise control, heated grips (included in the price instead of hundreds of dollars more), heated seats - what heated seats??? All these need to be included. BTW several of these are on the smaller Forzas. Backlit controls - where are they, surely Honda knows these things will be ridden after dark.
Hi, I'm 1.82m and found the bike to be comfortbale enough. The main gripes I had were around th ewindscreen not being adjustable, and the foot plates being too short. Here's the full review: www.bennetts.co.uk/bikesocial/reviews/bikes/honda/forza-750-2021 Cheers, Michael
I am surprised that it has a 17" front wheel. Looks not unlike a T-Max from the front, especially in the blue colour. I'd have one, but not instead of a motorcycle (yet)
Hi Michael, what jacket are you wearing? Was glued to the video but couldn’t see any branding. Didn’t notice what you were riding 😂. Good review though!
Thanks Andy, it’s from Dainese’s Settantadue range and it’s called Chiodo. It’s massively discounted at the moment, down from £470-ish to about £170. Well, it was when I checked earlier this week! Cheers, MM
Cruise control a must if only for average speed cameras, extra weight negligible, just switchgear, the rest is software. Fuel economy doesn’t appear to be as good as expected. Some sort of back rest would be nice, previous super scooter experience not good on lower back. Rear suspension linkage, grease points? On the whole though a good bike by the looks. It may also be telling that in three other UA-cam tests the finders have been laughing at the fun they were having on the open road.
I drive city and open road to my work. 25 KM. and it uses aprox. 0.8 L. My average fuel consumption is 28 km / L That includes some sporty riding, but most of the time I am in standard mode.Mine got Koaoko cruise control. Works perfect. And oem heated grips are 220 euro's
I tested a 2021 X-ADV today and my god did I hate the switchgear controls and the TFT screen! I got back on my Blackbird and goodness I was so happy to not have to faff around. The bike was great other than that though.
its a nice byke, and an upgrade from the Integra. It is also the same byke as the Integra/NC but with some new updated features to put it up to speed vs Tmax and Kymco 550 (though as is honda style they always fall short). Now the Forza name just to include it in the family rather than stick with Integra name. And in the process kick up the price. If you own and NC or an Integra it will be difficult to justify the price upsize for the trade up. If you are a first comer to the Honda 750 family then a good choice.
Is that a chain or belt because if it's a chain it's not worth buying because to much maintenance and servicing I have a motorcycle but I'm looking for a moped for business use as I work on a zero hour contract and have to travel to different sites across the country so I need something practical, fast and great mileage. I need something very low maintenance but I see that this has a chain unfortunately
@@SlickMotoMike I had a Tmax. Needs a new belt every 16000 miles. The rollers wear out. The pulley wears so it shifts odd. There are housing filters. And inside the case it gets really dirty. To change the belt, you have to disassemble a lot. I drove maxi scooters a long time. Switched to chain, never go back.
Was going to try one after being seriously disappointed with the original Integra. As your points highlight the inadequate improvements to the screen, legshields and chain guard probably won't bother. Still can't fault the Tmax other than the engine capacity.

It’s a very nice bike indeed but it seems to lack in the equipment department and design for me. The dct and ftf are awesome features but it looks like it was designed 10y ago. The AK is still the best looker out there with the Tmax with its “ugly” brutality coming in at a very close second.
I had the integra 750. It is a shame Honda makes a big tall scooter but with no space for the long legs required... Even a vespa has more room and comfort for knees and legs.
I am 1m87 tall and I have more room on the Forza than on the Tmax. When I had the Tmax, I always hit the handlebars with my knees, and reaching the ground while standing still was harder.
Typical of this new style of MaxiScooter. Sharp lines but really no rider protection. I've got the Kymco AK550 and this new Honda looks like it could be a close sibling with wind buffeting and little under-seat storage.
If I have to start commuting to London again, I'll be looking at bikes and in particular this and the NC750. I would hope the NC does the promised 80 mpg and so should this - my 2l Insignia diesel does more than mid 50's that you reckon this does (which is incredibly disappointing).
Errr is that a chain on a scooter that's ridiculous cvt and no chain maintenance is one of the best things about a scooter and tiny underseat storage trying to put that 750 in has made it a significantly worse scooter than the 350
Not heard/seen anything that tempts me away from my '18 model 650 Burgman. It's got better storage, heated grips/seats & good mpg - 57mpg round town 70 plus on motorways at 70mph. OK, it's nearly 5 years old, but so what? It does everything I want, including touring. Oh, and it's got the electrically adjustable screen 😊.
Speaks about under seat storage...cameraman just staying from the side shows nothing! Also hate when speech volume is low, and then loud music...also I like to hear the engine sond, how its starts, accelerate etc. Not the music.
At last a review from a professional UK media! The price setting is not right with Forza 750. With the same money you can buy a DCT Rebel 1100 which has heated grips and cruise control. They both have a floorboard
shame they did out with the cvt belt woulda been much more ideal then the chain drive
The DCT is so much more responsive. It pulls away with 1mm throttle. and it stays low in the rpm. Changing the chain and sprockets is much easier than changing a belt, and sliders and pulleys.
Just cant get over the tricked out suspension but no heated grips.
Most reviews don't cover the height of the rider and the inside leg measurement ....foot to peg distance for instance . Or in this case the foot to floor so to speak
My dream bike
I had the NC700x dct and I never had any problem in the wet/snow etc.
I have a maxi-scooter and love it, and I'd recommend a look at the CB500X. It's a brilliant all around bike with a slipper clutch.
Hi, what jacket is that you are wearing a d what is the helmet type?
Nice Review. Shame it looks like it will not be released in the USA. I have a 2011 Suzuki Bergman that I've loved for 10 years but wanted to get a more modern bike. What a frustration here in the states! I would have thought with the aging population, maxi-scooters would have grown in popularity (I'm an ex-motorcyclist). But sadly, Wrong. Bergman discontinued, Silverwing discontinued, BMW 650 GT discontinued, Yamaha TMax discontinued. Ugh.....
... and importing will cost you a arm and a leg. Real shame indeed.
We have the Vespa 300 GTS and it's bloody brilliant. Riding in town, two up, shopping it does it all effortlessly.
I have vespa 300 gts. Brilliant and have tmax. This is not scooter. Chain, big,and so on
The Vespa has Itsy bitsy Wheels that are deadly when you hit a pothole! ultra stupid design from the idiots in Italy! Was good once upon a time!
@@niksanike6583Have ordered a new Forza. Need a change. 😂
Great video cheers which helmet do you have. My forza arrives Saturday!!
Thanks very much. It's an AGV Pista GP - it's actually about four years old and has a custom paint job by Liam at LDC. Enjoy your Forza and do let us know how you get on with it.

Hi there, did u get forza 750cc and if yes,how do u like it so far?I am thinking to get one but thinking about xadv as well........enjoy your ride by the way
@@taniismailaj4916 ıt's a nice scooter but i do not recommend if there is traffic jam in your area, its a bit heavy and not easy to sneak around,Handling, performance and fuel consumption are awesome.Seat comfort is average.
Top speed? Passing power? Turning Radius???
I too have a minor irritant that bike switchgear is very rarely backlit.
It should be a de-rigeur thing in my opnion.

Have anyone tested both this and new version X-ADV, whats your opinion of which the better one?
Hi what bike license can you buy with that bike because I have a Honda Forza 125 right now then I’m going to be doing my full bike license this year and hopefully I would like to buy the Honda Forza 750 by the end of this year 😀😀
Hi Daniel, you'd need a full 'A' motorcycle licence. The Honda Forza 750 has a power output of 43 kW (58 bhp), which exceeds the 35 kW (47 bhp) limit needed for an A2 licence. The bike has to be restricted to become A2 licence compliant. Hope that helps.
Cheers, Michael
How fast does it go
it is insane ! indicators who is on all time?
Great video, Michael, thanks.
I didn't see an engine temperature in the display. Is there one?
Yep. Voltage, actual fuel consumption, outside temp, time. You can customize the fields
Great review! Thanks
Good value compared to a gold wing,at £28000,and just as capable.
Or 1985 electra glide? You really cant compare a low powered moped to motorcycle
Great review man👍
is this OK for a 1.90m rider?
Hi, I'm 1.82m and found the bike to be comfortbale enough. The main gripes I had were around th ewindscreen not being adjustable, and the foot plates being too short. Here's the full review: www.bennetts.co.uk/bikesocial/reviews/bikes/honda/forza-750-2021
Cheers, Michael
Is that a chain or belt because if it's a chain it's not worth buying because to much maintenance and servicing
I have a motorcycle but I'm looking for a moped for business use as I work on a zero hour contract and have to travel to different sites across the country so I need something practical, fast and great mileage. I need something very low maintenance but I see that this has a chain unfortunately
It has a chain. 28 km/L or 65 mpg. CVT belts require maintenance too.
@@mlschaap but very low maintenance just change it every 20,000 miles
@@SlickMotoMike I had a Tmax. Needs a new belt every 16000 miles. The rollers wear out. The pulley wears so it shifts odd. There are housing filters. And inside the case it gets really dirty. To change the belt, you have to disassemble a lot. I drove maxi scooters a long time. Switched to chain, never go back.
I love this Bike.
Was going to try one after being seriously disappointed with the original Integra. As your points highlight the inadequate improvements to the screen, legshields and chain guard probably won't bother. Still can't fault the Tmax other than the engine capacity.
Yamaha slowly creeping up the cc. With the introduction of the Forza 750, that's probably the wake up call they needed. 👍
Aren't you afraid that the shocks and vibrations will harm your Datejust? I mostly leave mine at home, I prefer wear some quartz watches while riding.
I thought Rolex were the best watches 🙂
Funfact: Now the Goldwing DCT is a MegaScooter
I'm a first time scooter buyer who wants to buy SYM 300c GTS EVO 2015 model which has 88 000km\54 600miles the price tag is $1000\R15 000ZAR & I'll be travel 116km\ 72miles daily commute to work do you think I should buy the maxi scooter
Fancy one,great review.
Combination of the following: Construction, DCT, riding position, small rear wheel, weighs like a Ninja 1000SX but has about a third of HPs (plus a bit) ... definitely a scooter
Having previously owned a burgman 650 and a honda nc750x I was looking forward to this release but your right, no heated grips or adjustable screen, storage is on the poor side too,it's pricey as is the optional top box, I just bought a BMW C650GT that ticks all the boxes, heated seat/grips as standard plus electric screen, not forgetting it goes like the wind!
A BMW 650GT ! Good choice man ! You have just bought something BMW has decided to get ridd off (same with their other 650 Sport scooter). It will definitly be an pain in the ass to resell your scooter now !
I do hope you like it. You will have it FOR EVER :-)
@@damienbommart781 yep Euro 5 killed a lot of them off, burgman 650 etc, hope to have the bmw a while and it was such a good deal I can afford to keep it forever :0)
650GT is CVT with 12k life? Was when I rode it. Nice bike but no comparison to DCT. Uses more fuel than the NC engine.
@@stevebolton8471 yeah 12k for a new belt but I only got 9k from the chain and sprockets on my nc750x dct,the nc is better on fuel as its low revving but it's also slower, I bought my nc750x new and was disappointed as it showed signs of corrosion pretty quickly, the dealer said to me its a budget bike what do you expect!
Another bike we won't get in Australia probably just like the full power Trident.
Getting 1 next week I have a mt09 now but it’s so uncomfortable after 30 mins old now just want something that’s got storage space still pretty quick yes iam aware it’s not going to be mt09 fast but it dose 5 seconds to 60 this scooter that’s not slow most cars don’t do that 110 mph whitch ain’t bad also
Seems like mounting and dismounting would be awkward.
All voluminous bikes mean draw, these maxi-scooters are great fun in winds and amongst trucks
It's a maxi scooter. The only one Honda makes that can go fast enough for the freeway, but they don't sell them in North America.
Why is the seat so thin
Its very comfy
Please how much
Anybody stating that this could be a 'mini Goldwing'? I can't remember where but I'm sure I've heard that comparison.
It’s a very nice bike indeed but it seems to lack in the equipment department and design for me. The dct and ftf are awesome features but it looks like it was designed 10y ago. The AK is still the best looker out there with the Tmax with its “ugly” brutality coming in at a very close second.
I like this scooter and I like how you describe it and review it thanks
This is not scooter...
excellent, thanks!
I like the name motorbike rather than scooter,,,gives it a maturity
Better than Pfizer
I had the integra 750. It is a shame Honda makes a big tall scooter but with no space for the long legs required... Even a vespa has more room and comfort for knees and legs.
I am 1m87 tall and I have more room on the Forza than on the Tmax. When I had the Tmax, I always hit the handlebars with my knees, and reaching the ground while standing still was harder.
@@mlschaapIs Forza suspension more comfortable than Tmax?
my silverwing has way more storage and a bigger fuel tank not as good on fuel though..
if this was available in the states I would buy it....but screwed again
Typical of this new style of MaxiScooter. Sharp lines but really no rider protection. I've got the Kymco AK550 and this new Honda looks like it could be a close sibling with wind buffeting and little under-seat storage.
If I have to start commuting to London again, I'll be looking at bikes and in particular this and the NC750. I would hope the NC does the promised 80 mpg and so should this - my 2l Insignia diesel does more than mid 50's that you reckon this does (which is incredibly disappointing).
You can’t find a pretty bird to put on the back? Would add some appeal to your video.
Errr is that a chain on a scooter that's ridiculous cvt and no chain maintenance is one of the best things about a scooter and tiny underseat storage trying to put that 750 in has made it a significantly worse scooter than the 350
Scooters are mega popular in Europe, not regarded as cool obviously in the UK
No cruise? No sale. Too bad.
Oh, and it's got the electrically adjustable screen 😊.
...very nice maxi-scooter. But for me, the deal-breaker is the final drive...a chain. Arghh....
But don’t chains last longer than cvt belt drives if looked after 🤔
Honda bring this stuff to the US
It is a motorcycle a NC750X DCT, with no foot controls.
Speaks about under seat storage...cameraman just staying from the side shows nothing! Also hate when speech volume is low, and then loud music...also I like to hear the engine sond, how its starts, accelerate etc. Not the music.
This get on it and go I dont get. I get on and go with any bike
What it needs is an aftermarket Harley tour pack painted and bolted on.
I swapped my T-Max tech max for the Forza 750, couldn't stand the sound of the T-Max accelerating, sounds like a 125 scooter.
This is hibryd of integra and xadv.
aaargh, Forza have normal legs place on front, unlike cutted small in Integra edition.
At last a review from a professional UK media! The price setting is not right with Forza 750. With the same money you can buy a DCT Rebel 1100 which has heated grips and cruise control. New NC750X DCT is 2000 less. I think Forza is too expensive.by 1000 pounds. X-ADV needs to be 1000 less to start with.
Would the insurance on a scooter be lower than a motorcycle, negating the initial lower price of the motorcycle?
where does a forza 750 fit in with the nc750x dct ?
