Piaggio should bring us a 400cc Vespa, certainly won’t be changing my 300 for an extra 1 horsepower.
Sadly (I think) that 400cc Piaggio engine won't be getting passed Euro 5+, as the Beverley is getting the same 310cc engine, when it once housed the 400cc. I (Brett) once did a video saying I wanted the 400cc Beverley engine put in the GTS a couple of years ago, but sadly that never happened. Cheers for your comment!
Honda should extend the foot floor of SH series longer for riders to do carrying/delivering errands easier in the metro.
There are more than 10 million scooters/bikes in Taiwan of 23 million people. Local scooter makers know the importance of a long walk-thru foot floor for riders to use scooters as daily workhorses, from delivering kids to schools, grocery shopping, errands drlivery to sending departures to airport. Local butane shopkeepers even deliver 5 butane barrels in one trip with custom made racks.
A longer foot floor could add tremendous versatility to a scooter for practical purposes.

I've been begging Honda to bring the ADV 350 to the US. And then I saw the Kymco at the end of the video... nice! Will have to keep my Xmax 300 until then.
Regarding the Honda SH350 I think you should take into account that it is one of the few step-throughs. If a can climb one stair then I can mount the scoot. It can make all the difference for us older riders.
And for carrying shopping dogs kids etc around the world

@Geoff-i2n The Peugeot Elyseo 125 I had 2000-2003 had one. I found it really useful. More scooters should have them.
@Geoff-i2n It can take a helmet under the seat? I used to have an SH300 and there was no way I could fit a helmet under the seat. The space was far too small.
~Only 4/5 for the ADV. And the horribly overpriced, underpower Techmax gets the same number?? Madness.

Honda SH350i all the way. Its very reliable. They never break. They are fast and agile around the city.

The disc on the back of the PCX is not welcome. It makes it more complicated when replacing the tyre, plus the caliper is exposed to road muck.

An efficient vehicle for the American market? The Americans are throwing out the fuel as if there were no tomorrow. What does this niche market serve for? They can install a 2 liter engine that runs on plastic.
USA really get crap options when it comes to a decent scooter. The Xmax is really the best thing we got
I have a Kymco Exciting 400 I, awesome machine. Plenty of power, handles like a sport bike, heavy at 425 lbs. Dry weight
You pronounced pininfarina just fine. Love the kymco at the end, its funky design might make it a cult classic, & i think the engine choice was the right one. I wish honda would make an adv125, i think it would sell well, particularly if they put the 14.8hp engine from the Forza in it, but that might be a silly idea, who knows.
Nice choices, all great scoots (except for the electric one), & i think the Italjet is a scooter, imho, but only just. 👍
Any thoughts for Aprilia SR GT 200 is it outdated now and not worth the extra $_$
should i be worried about kymco? I got a dealer close to me i was looking for a kymco skytown and yamaha yzr, kymco cost a bit more but it ha more power
It is your decision to make, and depends on your use and journey etc. If you are going on faster roads frequently, I would get as close to the 14.75hp limit as possible. Do you mean the Yamaha RayZR? Both of them should be great 125cc scooters to be honest.

i have a 70 Reg sh300i and i can get my FF Helmet under the seat, so im guessing the 2025 version will easily fit a FF Helmet in it
Sold mine due to the rear brake disc arrangement, exposed and designed to fail and removal of it and the rear wheel total pain
When has anybody ever bought a vehicle of any kind and the mpg is even close to those stated by suppliers, every vehicle is ridden differently by every rider

The e-scooter - if it's equal to a 125 with a top speed of 50mph it's not a moped. A moped is 50cc/30mph and can be ridden by a 16 year-old on L plates. A 125 cannot.
You're right about that - I love 150 cc beautiful Scoot, brand new & people call it a Moped until they see me go by them at 80 mph😂

I always understood that the definition of a moped was a motorised bicycle and it therefore had pedals!? At least, when I was 16 mini moons ago, this is what I had - a Honda Camino!

But due to the arrival of sports mopeds capable of 50mph and pedals added as an afterthought just to meet legal requirements the definition was changed to 50cc, with or without pedals with a top speed of 30mph. I am probably about the same age as you so I remember mopeds like the Honda Camino. I had a Puch Maxi.

Please, tell us what is Vespa best for? Artistic impression? Feeding ego of the vintage affectionados? Or hipsters? Vespas look good and that is all. Too expensive, and almost not practical, and absolutely not premium vehicles.
How is electric a con? In the world of scooters, electric makes great sense. My only gripe about the Fiat scooter is the naff looking display. Cheap LCD effort like most of the Chinese and locally made electric scooters here in Indonesia.
£6k for a scooter really? You can get a quite nice capàble motorbike for that money.
The sub £3k sector for city use is where i see the sales and prefer the step through format dont see e scooters making it with current battery tech.
Most seem to have a liad of complicated tech thrown at them to justify the price perhaps stripped back value scooters would be a better way to gono mention of the competitors like Honda SH125 which are good efforts in the class.
They need to bring that 350 to America . But no they went from a 150 to a 160 now a 175 lol 😂

Where do you see the future of these beauties? As the government has got it in for all ice engine vehicles? Is there any, any,decent ev scooters that you can afford, does 70 and…. More than 100 mile range?………
There are some close, but come at quite a premium sadly and aren't really up to the standard just yet.

Small wheels are rubbish on bad roads. Honda made the pcx worse with a 13 inch rear instead of a 14 inch. Dont get anything with less than 14 ince
Thanks for the comment. Think it all depends on the scenario and types of roads you are using it on. But then suspension will factor in too.

I recommend to check the Chinese market for scooters, they have big improvements the last years and soon I believe they will compete with the big brands from Japan.
Zontes offers a nice variety of scooters full equipped with main extras as standard. For me the best models to check out are the 368 G (ADV) and the 368 D.
