I never get tired of hearing the sound of this guitar. One of the best!
This should have been a post LED ZEP song.
Thought I was the only one who absolutely loved the guitar on this...👍👍👍
@@Wolfman1987 nope, Robbie Blunt is awesome
Hell yeah 👍 epic just fucking EPIC baby
This great song transcends the 80's!
Well, it's lived on, but so too the 80s, just in a different way. Bittersweet.
You know it gotta love the vibe
This song is phenomenal. One of his best.
It's an epic masterpiece

@@bikerwilli9130 but we will ☠️ 😢😢😢😢
The song is not one of his best, it's a very awkward and contrived video too. It's ok but I can remember coming home with this album and being somewhat disappointed, but it was not a bad album. I'm a drummer and Bohnam was my idol, he did his best after that occult partnership ended with his bandmates.
@@swingarmer Oh, contrare. The rest of the songs except for, "In The Mood", suck. But I haven't heard it in years so maybe my opinion could change. Aside from those two songs I feel that way with his first two studio l.p.s.

Robbie Blunt's guitar work on Principle of Moments is beautiful. Each song so unique and timeless. Beautiful strat tone. Glassy sparkle.
It's so epic... incredible 😢
He must be so stoned that he didnt realize his damn guitar wasnt even plugged into anything. :P
@@mikeanonymous669it's a video, Robert thumbing his nose at the video industry

Robbie was so underrated and his sound was incredible even through a strat, he was awesome. RIP 🙏

One of the best songs ever sung in rock history, timeless and brilliant.
Pretty damn epic . Makes me sad 😭 longing for the 80's once again

Beautiful expressive song and the phenomenal voice of Robert Plant!!!! I love this song!❤❤❤
This song arrived on the radio and on MTV when I was a teenager and I became a Plant fan. My girlfriend worked in a record store and told me I should check out Led Zeppelin since I like Plant’s music. It was better than discovering gold.
What a song. What a voice. What a talent.
A day doesn't go by without me listening to Robert Plant songs and love all his songs from Led zeppelin to his songs after Led zeppelin every day I have to hear Robert's voice that's how much I love him ❤️.

Real smart show producers to make the greatest vocalist in Rock history lip sync !! And the incredible musicianship of a band he assembled !!
Imagine having a brain and living back then. All the people involved with the production of shows like this just pretended the musicians were all playing live, but it was all fake. Anyone with eyes and ears could tell, yet they all continued to pretend. Oof. It was rough.
Robbie Blunt's Strat wasn't even plugged in... 🤔
@@eriklarson9137 Still better than 99% of the crap that passes for “music” today, even lip-synced
Robert Plant usually sucks live, his voice is embarrassing outside the studio, I would love a link to a live performance since 1973 where he actually hits the right notes.....
@@pulsarlights2825 okay your comment is more stupid than the producers of the show !... I've seen him live in New Orleans numerous times and he's incredible live!
His first two solo albums where hands down his best.

Now and Zen, Fate of Nations, Manic Nirvana.
The lonely places like 29 palms. Great music
Good HD copy of this. It's good to see his then musicians clearly like this.
There was a lot wrong in the years when I was young, but we were really blessed when it came to music. Everything was so new and authentic. Hearing Zeppelin for the first time as a child of 11 was mind-blowing. Robert Plant is a gift to the world. One of a kind.
What's new?. I'm 74 years of age, a wonderful single hit track from a great album. Robert' Plant's singing at its best. Soothing, yes?
I am very lucky to live through 80's as young age where I enjoyed the best era of the light rock music. Now even getting into late 50's I still hear them in most places and events. Big Log is one of my most favorite songs; yet the sound of guitar that had kept me listening day after day.
That's a beautiful song Mr plant...it brings me to tears.
Led Zep was a great time for Planty, but I think this album was him at his absolute peak for songwriting and vocals. It really is a superb piece of work.
hes so freaking magical.
The mood is amazing 😢
Such a shame that live wasn’t live in the 80s. Still better than auto tune though.
This is such an important tune to me and in my late 40s, I finally got ‘good’ at it’ although playing it is nice, nothing beats heading north on the freeway at golden sunset on GTA 5 and this just comes on the car radio.
Surely as good as anything Plant ever did. Lush and beautiful. This really brings back memories. He doesn’t look a day older beyond Knebworth in ‘79.
What a God given Blessing to those of us in the 80's for such Awesome music that generations later will come to hear and deeply adore. We were so Blessed to have so many songs that were out of this world. It has been said, there were so many great songs of the 80's to be #1, but time on the clock went by. That was such a well represented decade.
Classic Robert Plant hamming it up for the t.v. cameras.. Great song 👍
This is the best road song ever

What the fact that he has no rhythm. Bob Seger is the same way. Oh well.
Only Robert can get away with it. Billy Squire tried dancing like that and ruined his career in "Rock Me Tonight".
@@mikeys7536 funny you should mention Billy Squire. He is the only person that comes close to sounding like Plant.
Ehhh it was the 80's
I just said the same.
Typical 80s video, lol! But great classic by the great legendary Robert Plant 👏.
In the late '80's I would drive random weekends from flight school in Prescott to Tucson in my truly missed '69 Chevelle. Friday afternoons growing later as I descended into brilliant sunsets which competed with the Arizona flag. With a cassette mixtape of various Plant offerings - the descending sun and windows all lowered so very matching the vibe of the broken down car video for this song. It was overly warm, and allowed me to know I needed to really dig into life. I KNEW I'd both meet 'the girl' and have 'the car.' I now have the most amazing girl, giving me the absolute most amazing son. Still, Robert has been a voice and force throughout, further reminding me of what I've come from and fought through, but has through the Grace of God to allow me. I'm stupendously graced in life, and Robert isn't a slight amount of bringing me home to God, but a large presence.
The 1st time I heard this I was driving from Tehachapi to Vegas. Then later I saw the video, I got shivers, I was on that highway, I was there.
They fake it pretty well I guess. They could have at least put cords in the output jacks on the guitars. It ruins the illusion.

A masterpiece! Time to hit the road!
People here complaining about playback: for many of these shows it was technically and budget wise not possible to run live shows. Some of these TV shows had extreme diverse bands or singers, from rock to punk to folklore at times, impossible to mix them all to perfection in 45 seconds between acts. We talk analog here.
My god I didn't come across this beautiful and ethereal song till 1990 or so absolutely beautiful
