I would cruise main for hours and hours on perfect summer nights in Hutchinson, ks with my dog, Flash, listening to this song over and over. Then I got married, traded it in for my Mazda, and got divorced. I sure miss my Z28 and my dog Flash. Good times!!

Led Zep was a great time for Planty, but I think this album was him at his absolute peak for songwriting and vocals. It really is a superb piece of work.
Imagine having a brain and living back then. All the people involved with the production of shows like this just pretended the musicians were all playing live, but it was all fake. Anyone with eyes and ears could tell, yet they all continued to pretend. Oof. It was rough.

There was a lot wrong in the years when I was young, but we were really blessed when it came to music. Everything was so new and authentic. Hearing Zeppelin for the first time as a child of 11 was mind-blowing. Robert Plant is a gift to the world. One of a kind.

Such a shame that live wasn’t live in the 80s. Still better than auto tune though. This is such an important tune to me and in my late 40s, I finally got ‘good’ at it’ although playing it is nice, nothing beats heading north on the freeway at golden sunset on GTA 5 and this just comes on the car radio.
An ex-girlfriend & I saw him that year at the Blossom Music Center in Akron, Ohio...I'll never forget that experience! What a performer & I loved his 1st 3 albums as a single artist...those were the days. I was 21.
In the late '80's I would drive random weekends from flight school in Prescott to Tucson in my truly missed '69 Chevelle. Friday afternoons growing later as I descended into brilliant sunsets which competed with the Arizona flag. With a cassette mixtape of various Plant offerings - the descending sun and windows all lowered so very matching the vibe of the broken down car video for this song. It was overly warm, and allowed me to know I needed to really dig into life. I KNEW I'd both meet 'the girl' and have 'the car.' I now have the most amazing girl, giving me the absolute most amazing son. Still, Robert has been a voice and force throughout, further reminding me of what I've come from and fought through, but has through the Grace of God to allow me. I'm stupendously graced in life, and Robert isn't a slight amount of bringing me home to God, but a large presence.

What a God given Blessing to those of us in the 80's for such Awesome music that generations later will come to hear and deeply adore. We were so Blessed to have so many songs that were out of this world. It has been said, there were so many great songs of the 80's to be #1, but time on the clock went by. That was such a well represented decade.
This takes back driving through the desert from LA to Vegas, I was in a convertible and it was a warm day, heading to meet my friends for a 3 day weekend in Vegas. We had a blast, young and partying and not a care in the world 🎉

The 1st time I heard this I was driving from Tehachapi to Vegas. Then later I saw the video, I got shivers, I was on that highway, I was there.
Surely as good as anything Plant ever did. Lush and beautiful. This really brings back memories. He doesn’t look a day older beyond Knebworth in ‘79.
