I was born in 1970, so the early 80's were great years for me. I remember them like a soft-focus, sunlight drenched, dream-like memory. All my senses & physicality were at 100%. I had an optimistic, playful, positive view of the world. It all seemed so much better and more fun then. This wonderful song was important to me then, and is important to me now. Oh, to be young again.
Grew up in the 60’s, 70’s, into the ‘80’s, loved all the music then. But have my health, three grown kids, a loving husband of 33 years and two grandchildren. Life is about choices and, choose wisely. Love to look back on this but to relive all those years, no thanks. Happier in the here and now!😊🙏🏼

Journey, Depeche Mode, Michael Jackson, Genesis, Eagles, Alabama, Herbe Hancock, Steely Dan, Def Leppard, Boy George, THE BEST ERA OF MUSIC hands down. I especially like to hear a Triple Shot of This, "Pledge Pin" and "In The Mood" when I need to Relax, Unwind, and Have Myself a Couple of "Stiff Ones" after a Hard Days Work, Who Agrees? 🤔
Its my go to song for pumping a turd, which is also relaxing so definately agree
Bong hit ❤
Pass the wine bottle ….please
This and "In the Mood" was the 80s😂❤
Smoky is betta😂🎉.
Closing my eyes, feels like driving Los Santos coast at sunset. What a song, match it perfectly with GTA V!
Definitely a cruiser along the Pacific coast hiway. Rog. Pacific sunset records.
As a So Cal native, the scenery looks more like an inland desert valley. No matter. It's perfect for driving north on Highway 1 to Santa Barbera.
"Sports cars, neon lights and lots of cocaine, ah yes, the 80s..."
- Kenny Loggins
I loved hearing that song while I was playing GTA V.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
He smiled at me once. Cold morning in Dublin. Unforgettable.
It's amazing the career he's had. I hope somebody preserves and fixes up all the video qualities and of course the audio also. This guy is going to have a huge area in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for people to enjoy decades and decades from now
Robert Plant's 1980s and 1990s solo hits are among some of his best work.
Yes often times not so constrained by the other 3 talents instudio or onstage. Led Zeppelin were like many bands , just one constant, talent, here west coast USA have/had(?) Da Crue, east coast Ramones. In between are many small town bands fighting to get a contract to where themselves, ...dammit I gotta get a better weed strain, this is going as stale as yoko one's cunt. Glass onion, anyone?
love The Rain Song too. but yes his best work.
Je suis bien d’accord 🙏🇨🇮🇺🇸🇫🇷🍀
Ya, man, as an old Zeppelin fan from the early '80s on I would have been loathe to admit it, but all these years later, good on Robert. This album is fantastic. 40 years old but quite good.

LIFE IS IN PHASES FACE IT
Don't allow people's results to pull you down.
If your mates are making it in life don't envy them celebrate them because its their time..
Because your time has not yet come as far as you are on a project that will announce you letter keep on keeping on.
Just like Jesus told he's mother at the wedding ceremony after she told him to turn water into wine he replied that his time has not yet come..
Hear Me: never be on a rush. Keep pushing.. Don't allow others results to bring you down.
As far as you don't give up, the world will celebrate you once is your time..
Not all you see on social media are real. Never live your life based on what you see on social media.
You are more.. If men reject you today, work on yourself. Tommorw those same men will pay to watch because its your time..
Let me end with this.. Time has a way of rewarding consistency never ever give up.

A great song by a great musician
Yeah..what he said!😂😂
Being a young solider in the US Army and in Europe , this song gave me peace.
I remember 90 days off. Best time of my life. Vancouver beer fest.
US Army and peace.. theres an oxymoron if i ever seen one.
I was in Korea, listened to this a lot.
That would be SOLDIER Robert. And as for the “US Army and peace” comment, Peace and Army isn’t an oxymoron. They’re synonymous. Because of our Army, Navy, Marines and Air Force we have peace. Trump sux though....
Thank you for your Service!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Hi I Recommend an indie song called 'The bond villain' by Robert Nix
I remember 1984 when I was in Germany. I was finishing up a guard shift in the field. I turned on my radio to AFN and this was on! Beautiful Sunday morning.
What a beautiful memory ❤
I was 18 when this song was released. Straight out of high school, driving my Mustang convertible, and life seemed like it would stretch on forever. I still feel that when I hear this
What are you feeling now? As time passes
But it doesn't does it? Because of the monster time....
To Cody Bolt from Nygel Miller. This song makes you feel that life will still stretch out forever? Well it's achieved its objective then!

Same here. The first time I heard this on MTV, I was hooked immediately. It's still one of my favorite songs to this day.
Born 1972... music was great.. MTV just started in the beginning of the 80's.. every European band was on fire then
