    Wow, that's exactly what I was looking for: Painting with small brushes and working on details again and again even if it takes a long time. I love this technic and your advices are very helpful.

    Thank you, Chuck, especially for showing how to paint the smell rocks on the shore and the groundcover in the opposite corner,. I am working on a small 11X14 landscape now and I struggled with how to put some rocks on the shore. An art instruction book I have said to paint shadows under each rock, but because these rocks are so small, the shadows either went over parts of them, or seemed way too big and long. I also wasn't sure what color to use as the bhighlight on the rocks. So this video especially, is a big help to me. Thank you.

    Wow. I am making a painting for my brother, he wanted a moose and ‘Bob Ross’ mountains. 😂 I was struggling with the water part so I was checking out videos. I thought it was really cool that him and I were painting that same thing! His definitely is on a whole other level but still thought it was awesome.

    Hi Chuck, Wow.. that water looks Stupendous!, along with everything else too.. 😊. The movement and splashes came out perfect. I’m not sure if I would have tackled that before you shared your approach & now I want to try that on a painting of mine that’s in the strategy stages. Again , a big thank you for sharing. I hope it is a moose and her baby; I've been wanting to see you paint one. Anyway, I absolutely love what you've done so far; it's amazing. The reason you are my favorite is because you get such detail on everything and your paintings just remind me of my brother's fantastic love of and talent that he had of painting. He also loved the outdoors and mountains. He lived in Tennessee and made beautiful paintings. Don't get me wrong; you've got your unique talent and even your uniqueness in every way; it's just that your final paintings look so much like his. My brother also loved flying and there was one painting of his of an airplane that I couldn't figure out what it was. Years after he passed, I realized it was his view in the airplane when her flew upside down. Of course, I was the last of my beautiful large family that got it. LOL That's my uniqueness, I guess. LOL But I never said it out loud; so unless they see this confession of the one secret that I kept about not understanding what his painting was then they won't know. LOL Okay, I"m going to go look to see if you've uploaded your moose yet. Good Luck, I know it's a lot of work and I appreciate that. Thank you, thank you so much for sharing your gift.

      As always thank you so much Debby, fun to read through the story of your brother as well. Would love to see some of his work sometime. Also I did end up going with a moose and it's up now!

    • @Debbyiamme
      @Debbyiamme 6 років тому

      Yep, I just watched you paint the spectacular moose and her baby about an hour ago. I had actually been waiting for you to paint one. I did look through your previous paintings from before I started learning to paint, myself and found your male moose with the night sky behind him. That's amazing, too. I adore the mother moose with her baby. It's beautiful; the whole painting is.
      I'll get some pictures of my brother's paintings to email or message you through facebook. My older sister is coveting them. LOL It was first come, first serve, I guess. She lived in TN near him; while I am in NJ near the University Hospital for my son's sake. My son was born was hydrocephalus and has had 27 brain surgeries. His last surgery seems to be holding up; God, I pray it does. She keeps promising me to get a copy of, at least, one of his paintings. She has her own problems and trying to run her own business; but I'll get a hold of something at our family reunion this summer. It's supposed to be in TN this year. LOL I'll get pics of them, at least.
      My brother had given me some really good brushes quite a few years before he passed away and kept telling me that I could do it but I was so intimidated with paintings on canvas/paper, etc back then. LOL Now, things seem so much calmer in my life and I'm trying to learn with my brother's picture beside me. I know he would be proud that I'm even trying and a couple of them aren't that bad. I'll keep trying to get better, though.
      Thanks again, Chuck, for all your tutorial videos and sharing your beautiful paintings. I really enjoy them a lot.

This is not " showing " the viewer anything at all in the way of instruction ,, the majority of your video posts are the same. That being said your work is delightful ,, you are very talented.
