I love these talks. I am 60 yrs old. Happy married for years. I was the only girl in a household of males. My dad and brothers taught me early. A husband is not hard to get. But you must be willing let a man go his way when you're not winning. Never settled for less than you deserve and don't be scared.
That's lovely. I didn't grow up with a strong masculine presence in my home so I never really learned how a solid masculine male shows love for a woman. I grew up around "strong independent women." I think more women need to learn these lessons. I am learning now as an adult.
My father did his best his father was not a good example of how you treatment a Women so iit became a generational curse that was handed down to me and my sisters,, in which we are trying to heal from these things. It's hard though.

Talking on the phone is not even feasible or allowed there except for during break. I also work midnights so my break times are when most people are asleep anyway. Texting is the only way to communicate on those particular days.
I have also had guys laugh and make fun of my southern accent. Some of them have even had the audacity to put the call on speaker phone so that their buddies can also get a good laugh out of “this dumb hilljack”. I absolutely hate talking on the phone for that reason alone. I have to text someone for a while just to make sure they do have a genuine interest in me and that I can trust them to not do that mess beforehand.

These covert narcissists are very insidious. They are good at wearing a mask to reel you in. When they've got their hooks in you, the masks start to slip and in many cases, you are already in too deep. They only way to deal with them (other than grey rocking them) is to run and don't look back.
I was one time engaged to a man, I was emotionally really thirsty and had no reassurance from him, I spoke it out and his response was “that’s what you have are desires and I am not responsible for your desires, that’s your desire not mine”… he did not value my needs. RC Blake’s is a life saver, he is the father figure I did not have. I had a dad but he was an alcoholic. I loved him and respected him but he turned our lives upside down and made me have a horrible self esteem because he said some things to me that a father should not ever tell a young girl. It got very toxic. I’m 49 and suffer from ptsd and adhd, depression and anxiety and I have read that I could of been because all the abuse. I was sexually abused by my fathers friends too and when I told him I don’t thing he believed me or just did not know what to do

Yet sometimes in his texts he'd say he loved me and if he hadn't seen me for a while he'd say, "I miss you!" We're no longer communicating, so we're no longer friends. He likes to go out with women all the time, and I bet he's broken several hearts now. It's really sad. I know he broke my heart. He was so sweet and kind and thoughtful in the beginning. I thought this was my dream come true. Now... nothing.

I damaged myself by staying in that relationship for so long and was always covering up for him. All these signs mentioned were everything I experienced in my 19 years of being married to that man. Thank goodness I summoned the courage to walk out of that abusive relationship and I am happy as it was the best decision of my life. I think we as women should start loving ourselves.

Talking on the phone is not even feasible or allowed there except for during break. I also work midnights so my break times are when most people are asleep anyway. Texting is the only way to communicate on those particular days.
I have also had guys laugh and make fun of my southern accent. Some of them have even had the audacity to put the call on speaker phone so that their buddies can also get a good laugh out of “this dumb hilljack”. I absolutely hate talking on the phone for that reason alone. I have to text someone for a while just to make sure they do have a genuine interest in me and that I can trust them to not do that mess beforehand.

The worst narcissistic abuser who mistreated and abused me and lied and cheated , and i thought he was good - looking lol, i lost everything, my pride , my money, my dignity and here i am thinking what was I thinking? These covert narcissists are very insidious. They are good at wearing a mask to reel you in. When they've got their hooks in you, the masks start to slip and in many cases, you are already in too deep. They only way to deal with them (other than grey rocking them) is to run and don't look back.
I was one time engaged to a man, I was emotionally really thirsty and had no reassurance from him, I spoke it out and his response was “that’s what you have are desires and I am not responsible for your desires, that’s your desire not mine”… he did not value my needs. It was like drinking an empty cup. I broke up with him. It was the worst feeling for me to have: being in a relationship and still feeling alone by myself. Love doesn’t hurt.

I wish my younger self had heard this message. I am so thankful for not ending up married to any of the bad choices I unwisely gave my heart to in the past. I was finally able to forgive myself regarding prior decisions I made romantically (I beat myself up worse than anyone else could) because I didn’t know better then despite my education and success in my career. I really had no idea of what love looked like and on a deeper level feel I was worthy of it. I’m also so very thankful for knowing better now, doing better, and providing a good example for my daughter and son (twins) of what a healthy relationship looks like. May God continue to bless this ministry.

RC Blake’s is a life saver, he is the father figure I did not have. I had a dad but he was an alcoholic. I loved him and respected him but he turned our lives upside down and made me have a horrible self esteem because he said some things to me that a father should not ever tell a young girl. It got very toxic. I’m 49 and suffer from ptsd and adhd, depression and anxiety and I have read that I could of been because all the abuse. I was sexually abused by my fathers friends too and when I told him I don’t thing he believed me or just did not know what to do

Thank you for this video! We needed to hear this. I once went out with a guy and he said to me, "You know, we are not in a relationship." Yet sometimes in his texts he'd say he loved me and if he hadn't seen me for a while he'd say, "I miss you!" We're no longer communicating, so we're no longer friends. He likes to go out with women all the time, and I bet he's broken several hearts now. It's really sad. I know he broke my heart. He was so sweet and kind and thoughtful in the beginning. I thought this was my dream come true. Now... nothing.

You know sometimes we are aware that the other person doesn't love us but you know that of saying The heart wants what the heart wants. Truly, we only hurt ourselves even though we know the truth already. Some of us can't let go of the hope maybe this will change. In a lot of cases it won't. After 5 years divorce I followed your teachings.I was married when I was 18 years.For 32 years in that marriage I was abused physically ,Spiritually, financially Sexually and Emotionally. I was in a Pharaoh's house, a toxic environment. At last I'm a free woman of faith.
