First. I'm 66 and was a finish carpenter for 20 years then when my back starting giving out I became a Mechanical Testing Tech (24 years). Too loud ain't loud enough. Oh and I used to play in a Southern Rock band that had two volumes...on and off. Anyway I love wood and though I've never used Champor but it looks cool. Nothing like planning rough wood to uncover the beauty under. You could use a jointer. Tell your wife I said so.
Hey Micheal - love the 'olman in the woods makin a racket' video. Still haven't learned to play my own CBG 's but thats for another day. Right now I'm painting up a storm! - Paul😃😃😎😎
Just wanted to say your videos have been a big help, currently finishing my first build(I have 4 going at once 😅) and ironically it’s a box build all built from a live edge slab and one of my others is a solid body 1 piece from a live edge! I don’t have a planer so things have been a bit of a struggle at times.. but man do they look nice! Thanks for the videos and knowledge hoss 👊🏻
Thank you, Josh. I appreciate that. Congrats on your first build, and good luck with the next 4. Yeah, its a bit easier with the planer, specially with that real hard wood. M~ 😎

Thanks Stetson. M~
Just curious Michael, how old are You?
I'll be 62 years young next month. 😎
I'm suffering from tool envy. I have a 10ft X 5ft workshop. Table saw and mitre saw just about all I have room for.
You can also use an electric hand planer, They work good too. I used them all the time building table tops. M~
