It's comments like that which cause people to say Peterson is the dumb man's intellectual. Peterson isn't a crusader of truth. He's just a cult-like figure many have weirdly attached to. He's literally said "fiction isn't false" and when you explain how that's a direct contradiction to his followers, they'll argue against you -- that's how little regard for truth he and his followers have!

(And that's what we mean when we call something fiction: that it's an imaginary story. We don't talk about Hebe anymore and definitely not about Tyche. How many small cities were founded for those two? Sparta is among them. We still talk about Hercules and Sampson, but never Delilah, it's not polite to talk about that truth. But when they separated Sampson from Delilah, he knocked down the pillars holding up the city. They tried to cut his hair to make him civilized, but he was not tamed.

I've noticed, from old UA-cam videos that pop up 3-5 years later, when I go to comment, I find my previous 3-5-year-old comment and its word for word the exact same comment I was going to make...again. Seems a lot of my thoughts and impressions are practically "set in stone" and don't change the slightest over YEARS! Has anyone else noticed anything like that? It's like what I think is random thought is like a reflex thought that works exactly the same way under the same circumstances' years apart. Reflex Thoughts! (I'm hoping for a Nobel Prize for this)

So we're searching for balance in life (and yoga) but what people (yoga students trying to find balance in their asana as an example) forget about the yin-yang relationship is that *balance* is not absolute in the world of the physical man (yesterday my warrior 3 was on point but today I may feel dizzy) so we must understand the possibility of chaos from order as well as order from chaos and then navigate back to the balance.
Reference the Hindu myths of Kali & also Shiva.

@@sempertito3515 Not enough chaos means no new things and no risks and normally no excitement or fun. It means people don’t start businesses or meet new people or travel to new places. Chaos has a bad connotation and people think about it only negatively

There's chaos and order in being a parent, the parent is the order and the kids are the energetic chaos and you go back and forth till there's balance in that world and you get stronger over time

Weird way to frame it. Order is just things we know, and "chaos" what we don't know. Once we know how things work, we no longer call it chaos.
* To the person on the street, when a bowling ball crashes into the pavement from the sky _that's chaos!_
* To the person in the airplane overhead who rolled the ball out the plane and watched it fall, _it's order._
* The difference between the two is just knowledge. One person knew all the factors involved (pushing the ball out of the plane, gravity) and the other person didn't.
So because the entire topic is framed around _actual knowledge,_ it's so tragic he uses phrases like "god only knows" (and seems to at least _embrace_ the idea of a god, even if he may not actually believe in it) because that represents such a backwards way of thinking; a refusal to let go of past traditions that turns out to be unproven nonsense. To seem to value building actual knowledge while also keeping hold of ideas that don't appear to be actual knowledge is a contradiction.

In terms of order/chaos, violence is certainty, a choice made. Chaos is doubt and indecision.
You need to have another look at the definition of chaos.....chaos is potential...war is certain action
