    When I worked out with a personal trainer he finally got me to confidently jump onto a tiny box both feet together. I think it was a mental block of ‘what could possibly go wrong’ but he helped me overcome and reach my goals. My Amazing trainer changed my life and my kids, he sowed the seed for lifelong fitness. Thank You Paul Leach now moved from CA to Maine. Yep, he did. And Paul if you read this Adam came 2nd in the local Spartan race and I’m entering the Huntsman senior world games in the triathlon category to celebrate turning 60! Thank you love and congrats on your babies!

      I went to a kettlebell school. There was a senior paramedic guy there. He said he'd been called to a few cross fit gyms where people had had major shin injurys from f ing up a box jump. Maybe put a mat behind, not have a sharp edge. Personal trainers aren't all the smartest people and there's a lot of group think.

    Laird , we must somewhat think alike , now I’m not near the athlete you are but do love a variety of home exercises . I love home workouts , push-ups , dumbbells and kettle bells I’m 55 and thanks for sharing even more things I can add it to my workouts to keep my body challenged. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

    I've always been shown that swinging your arms down as you do a box jump creates more lift, arms over head on the squat then pull arms down as you jump up

    Great video. At 1:51 those are Turkish Get Ups. Unless there’s an invisible Roman Chair somewhere. With Wonder Woman narrating that very well may be the case.

    Get an idea of the way your different muscles contract and keep in mind the importance of correct posture. From there you can create your own routine that's fine tuned to your body and your abilities. Follow the leader isn't the path of the Individual. Fine Tuned by you for you!
    Or you can always hunt down some Jack LaLayne (spelling) recordings. Dude was hip before Gilligan's Island was popping so safe to say it's not too atomizided.

    Does Laird...do any workouts in a Gym?... for specific body parts?.. He has what i'd call the PERFECT physique..and these exercises look great for mantaining....but are these what he used/uses...to build...the muscles to look like he does?.. Honestly. I'd like to know. Thanks!.. :)

      @donkeller6399 4 роки тому

      Correct-never direct pressure Emilien, as you are in fact crushing, compressing and or shearing the tendon further inflaming. You “roll” the muscle that surrounds the sheathing of the tendon, doing indirectly along the leg length. Much like static “stretching” prior to performance exercise is scientifically detrimental, it takes time to change bad habit of rolling a tendon.
