Awww, man. I was expecting more. WAY more from a Bill Burr post election monologue.
yeah, feels like he's just workshopping some bits here. selfishly, i wished for more, but i get that his business requires a lot of rough drafts.
We know who you voted for lol. Wish this candidate had more to offer lol
Buy a ticket and watch him perform on stage live. He's got tons of material
His rhythm seemed off & his investment in his jokes wasn’t there.
We needed a George Carlin at this moment, instead we get this talentless hack that only pretends to be edgy and honest. Yep, the US is over.
This crowd is dryer than the main snl cast. Those jokes were hilarious. 😂
They sucked!! He bombed!!
Find the happy medium between Applebees and your dad didn’t stick around💀💀💀
Bill Burr was the most entertaining SNK has been in 20 years I actually laughed watching an SNL clip so miracles are real 😂😂
I like how a lot of the laughs sounded like a laugh track.
I don’t think they were, but you’re free to be skeptical.
Nah bro I heard it too omg lmao
ikr? He was dying out there
It wasn’t one
forced laughs, audience is full of ultra-sensitive snowflakes, you say one wrong word or raise your voice for 0.3 seconds and they start crying so bill burr really had to lock in to make sure he doesn't say anything too mean
Shaq with both feet hanging out the buick is killing me
This was freakin hilarious! 😂
I spit my coffee out, laughing at him making fun of Shaq with a Charles Barkley voice. 😂
I was crying about my failures in life before this. After I watched this I’m laughing and smiling and even put on aftershave .
Bill Burr you are awesome 👏
I love Burr but man that Asian Covid joke landed hard.
Audience is trash.
A lot of people in NY also seem to believe it (I see them pulling up their masks around Asian Americans, covering mouths with hands) so they might not have taken it as a joke
Tough crowd. 😂 It was a difficult moment to host snl, let's be real.
Yeah all things considered it was was a weird choice for sure
Wait, why was it difficult?!?
@@mattjohnsononyoutube That's not difficult, that pharquin AWESOME!!! May they all feast on shit!

He made all his money in college.

He’s my absolute favorite of all time, it was the first time I think he seemed nervous. Still my fav, just surprised.
This is his second time on snl
I was looking forward to him roasting Trump a bit more. This fell flat (in Burr's standards) and didn't meet the moment. I thought he could've written something so much more damning.
@@mikayocc Right? Very disappointing.
I don’t think Bill was nervous. I think he was probably told by the SNL staff to tone down his monologue. This monologue was pretty clean language for Bill when compared to what language he uses on his podcast or his stand up.
I'm not.
Fuck the temperature of a room, its the temperature of a country.
Props for Bill for even going out there.
Chappelle would had said fuck this, bought a case of Newports, then took another trip to Africa like he did after selling Chappelle Show.

Bill belongs on SNL about as much as Chapelle does.

@ModelA both are funny. snl crowd doesn't appreciate either of them

Bill has a great quality about him that I just really admire, he knows his craft , has his opinion, and doesn't give a S**t what the audience really thinks.
If that was true he wouldn't be pulling any punches - in reality, he pulled more punches than WWE.

The election part was definitely Bill Burr the rest of it yeah i agree it feels like he was forced to change his opening jokes and the ending it seems. The election part was hilarious so yeah, the GOAT did it again.
How Mr Bill Burr loves the awkward silence - that is Bill at his best - and this is him taking it easy! The more silent the crowd gets, the more powerful Bill becomes.
Hard time and place to do comedy, but I think he did pretty good considering
I thought so and I'm not a stan
Yeah, people say he did bad don’t understand that snl crowds are notoriously stiff. Not saying the show is all bad as I’ve seen funny stuff on here even recently. But the comedy sets are always a tad rough
@@dude185704 Hard to believe that SNL crowds are stiff. Back in the 70's and 80's, SNL was knows to have crowds that were super loose. Everyone was smashed.
The Donald at McDonald and the Grinch analogy was so on point. lol
Bill is the man, they have to either change the band behind or when comedians do their monologue, have no one behind them. Shane Gilles and Nate Bergatze also killed but the band was dead inside.
Trump‘s heart grew a little bigger! That one cracked me up!
One of the early signs of TDS is a loss of sensible humor.
Best joke of his act IMO.
They were smiling. They just see this show every week and they’re kinda working
I am SO glad that this particular episode of SNL landed in Bill Burr's hands.
The opening was great. The whole show was great. Bravo! Bill Burr and the entire SNL cast and staff.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I'm glad he didn't get too opinionated. I think people are tired of listening to uber rich celebrities, as if their opinions are informed and should be looked up to. I don't care what George Clooney or Taylor Swift (who both supported Kamala) or Mel Gibson (who supported Trump) think, just b/c they're famous. None of them can relate to any of us normal people and what anybody else is going through in the first place.
Ya mean the full bro’ poor white mansplain?
I can't keep my eyes on the girl holding a guitar. She's pretty. I wished she laughed more at one of Bill's jokes and not act nonchalant.

I dunno this felt like just another Burr standup. Reminded me of some of his Conan interviews where he said stuff that the audience wasn't sure to laugh at or not. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Totally agree!
Agreed. I was shocked by all of the comments before getting to yours saying he "phoned it in" or "did his best". Me and a few friends were laughing the entire time and even went back and re-watched it a few hours later after bar close. I guess a lot of people forget the that Bill Burr isn't exactly FCC friendly in 99% of his vernacular, so his jokes aren't going to be delivered the same as you would see on standup special or podcast. He killed it in the skits too.
Yt ppl sense of humor has to be studied. This sht is not funny. Rip Bernie Mac lmao

Agree. But remember there's far fewer audience members at SNL than at one of his normal shows
Bill Burr is back hosting SNL for the 2nd time and he's a legendary comedian. His stand-up monologue was funny and hilarious. Burr also become a second-time SNL host this season. 🤣 🤣 🤣 😆 😆 🤣
I get the feeling like he had a very differently monologue prepared and then election night went a different way.
Honestly, I’m glad it’s Bill and no one else doing a post election show.
They're kinda limited to whom they can use after an election week,. especially considering the results. I think Burr and Chappelle are pretty much it...and whatever either has to say wouldn't go over with the crowd well. I think he did a good job. The 0-2 joke got me
