I don't want to take away from them they are amazing but Paul has been singing live since he was 15 years old add all that screaming and high notes to that and a bit of damage is garanteed.( I also want to say Brian Johnson, who is 75 has kept his high range better than anyone and seeing Axl Rose not beeing able to sing at all at 60 his voice is remarkable.)

People need to give Paul a break - this song is difficult for most people in their 20s and 30s, let alone someone who is 80 years old. If anything, Paul absolutely deserves credit for giving this tune a shot at his current age.

Everyone at Paul's age loses their voice because the throat changes, the skin changes... at 50 you can pretty well still do it, at 60 most good singers can pretty well do most of it, but 65 seems to be the falling off part where changes become noticeable, by 70 a few might still have it if they take care of their voice, take supplements, etc...Paul is in his 80s... there's no one in rock and roll that's pulled that off other than Ringo and his vocal parts are easy... pretty much everyone else is still atlesst 10 years younger.

I hear you brother...I'm a second generation Beatles fan (born in 1975) and have followed McCartney's entire career, from the Press To Play's & Driving Rain's to the Ram's & Chaos and Creation's. I'm not one of these militant 'retire already!' people but I absolutely admit his vocal abilities have been challenged for years. The 20 years of tours in the 2000's where he wouldn't even drink water on stage and playing everything in their original keys did him no favors. I thought the COVID break and McCartney III was good for his voice, there were some early 2022 shows where he sounded much better; but the man is 80 and should not be doing songs like this anymore. I think he does it because he knows no one close to him will say no and I guess he doesn't think his voice is that rough. I mean of course he has to know but the usually gregarious, self effacing McCartney has NEVER made any kind of jokes regarding his voice that I'm aware of. He's no doubt sensitive of it but when you have 40,000 people in front of you giving you that much love and adoration you probably feel like if they don't care, I don't care.

Honestly, it worked. He utilized that note just fine for his age, almost as if he added a vocal technique in there to save his voice.
