- Nathaniel Coleman is taking the competition scene by storm and exploring unclimbed areas in the southern deserts of Utah. His fresh drive to push the boundaries of bouldering is what allows him to access the inaccessible.
Filmed and edited by Ben Neilson.
Nathaniel, you are a pleasure to watch, beautiful style, grace, and strength. I'm rooting for you my man, stay healthy and follow your joy.
From one boulderer to another, I appreciate the work and the absolute joy that it is to watch people who climb spectacularly. Particularly Nathaniel, he has such a beautiful technique and a great attitude. he seems so down to earth and genuine.
-- Thank you, Nathaniel Coleman (and family). I wish you good health and clear horizons.
This dude is such a chill bro brah the ultimate bruh.
You've totally got my psyched to continue sitting here in my chair watching people live their dreams!
If Nathaniel wore sunglasses and cut his hair short, he would look exactly like Casey Neistat! 😂
CUT IT!!
He did
Congratulations Nathaniel. You are living inspiration for all of us on our way to the top. Thank you for the video. Amazing climbing, great video editing, just class all around bruh.
💪😑✊
Developing is life
Positive Vibes.
After watching a bit past 15:00 minutes, did anyone else go back to 15:00, turn up the volume, and listen closely? I did... I have had the same experience a couple times when climbing a V5 at my local gym... we're practically twins, just his boulder was in the double digits, lol
Can anyone name the song at 11:16? That song slaps.
Swear i watched this months ago?
trippy
get the same feeling
It was released on Petzl's website as well as Vimeo about 2 months ago. So don't worry, you're not going crazy
Great climbing, Nathaniel! Try to avoid using "like" so much and it will be easier to listen to your story as well.
I never realized this dude looks like Handsome Squidward tho
thekaochan I was about to say the same thing lmao.
reilly from letterkenny lmao
Handsome? I was commenting for say he's prob one of the ugliest ppl I've ever seen
Why is this comment so perfect?
Max Hardcore haha you don’t seem confident
Dat first Dyno though
It looks so effortless.
I watched it about 50 times by now
"East Come, East Go" is the name of the boulder@Max Miner
Surrounded by big walls and still bouldering, do what you love.
Positivity brings home some silver!
nice dude exactly! I am stunned
The opening scene is one of the more inspiring climbing sections I have seen....beautiful cinematography and story telling. Great work to the crew and Nathaniel for envisioning the sequence. Keep it up!
This was a pleasure to watch. The opening dyno is stunning.
from nationals to silver medalist
Excellent video, not too long not too short, beautiful image and attitude. Wanna go outside and climb hard ^^
man this guy is so inspiring
Uh, hang on there, boys. Not to be overly critical, but I think you mean "psyche", not "psych". When pushing boundaries and taking the competition by storm, it's always gud to be accurat. ;-)
Is that Reilly from Letterkenny, bud?
Awesome positive approach. That is what life is about.
you brutally dubbed the slap sound of the first dyno...nononono
I’m glad this man is representing team usa at tokyo2020 🇺🇸
Can we get a RIP in the chat for the 2020 Olympics?
@@Bsmd25 rip
Amazing! Just started my traveling channel!! check it out
why would you do anything else other than develop new boulders if you were a pro climber?
Awesome and what a ridiculously cool looking area!
Climbing in the natural world is one of life's great pleasures.
Awesome story.... there needs to be more ppl in the world like this dude. Great sends as well

Anyone know what exercise Nathaniels doing at 1:47? Or if there's an article about it online anywhere
song at 10:17?
His hair is beautiful 😂
This kid is the epitome of a boulder bro (in a good way!) (he just fits every stereotype)
Beautiful
I rock the Petzl Bug pack and the 5.10 approach shoes too! Maybe i'll be as strong as Nathaniel some day. :p
how do you snap a pulley and climb a few weeks later?!!?! amazing
Injury isnt necessarily a snap
thegarodes so what did he mean by snap then? Idiot
Air Dog must be inspired by Airwolf, no? Awesome video!
I love this kid.
fair play to ya bud, following your passion and enjoying the trip!
Cela aurait été vraiment super de mettre le sous titrage en français...
Gosh, humans are amazing
I gotta ask, what company makes the jacket he's wearing on the podium? 7:47

Great video....super inspiring
Who dislikes these kinda videos!?
He walks like Sasquatch.
Honestly this was like the greatest video, Because it was actually entertaining. So many climbing videos are boring. This was perfect
Must want all the FA’s to himself because he forgets to mention where this new area is and the description is hella vague.
Sissy Pants it's Indian Creek,
We have yet to organize any information on the San Rafael Swell, however we plan to release a simple online guidebook! In the meantime though, it is indeed quite nice to have some FA's close to home:)
Thanks so much for sharing man, I wish you good luck on all your endeavors. Big ups!
That was a pleasure to watch. No shouting and screaming a la Ondra and Sharma.
All of the climbs in this video with he exception of one look like they're under v7 hahahahhahahahhahahha what kind of scrub comment is this. Maybe if he started screaming more, he'd be able to send 5.15c/d.
Thank you for your contribution despite Nathaniel climbing more V points than any of us commenting will ever do combined.
that was a stupid comment, thanks.
the hair weighs you down. let the women have it
Please don't cause needless soil erosion. Use the trail instead of strutting through the bushes.
did it look there were an abundance of trails around there?
He’s developing, there aren’t established trails yet where he is climbing.
Indeed, a part of developing an area is creating trails. We did our best to follow the natural landscape and avoid large patches of cryptosoil!
Duncan Reid seriously? That's all you got to say after watching this beautiful video?? Life must be pretty empty to say something like that, hope things get better for you man
Nathaniel Coleman not often do I get the chance to watch a video that is ALL around inspiring, the landscape , the music, that dyno dunk in the beginning, your attitude , I could go on brother but just want to stay thank you, keep on keeping the stoke alive!
boring
your life is boring
not more boring that your tanzanian shlt trip, and dont forget to like your petzl advertise heroic climbing on plastic and boulder .This plastic climbers make money because of you, they are just searching fame nothing else. There are climbers more talented that this guy without posting how strong they are at 5 meters high from the ground with music and handclapping
sounds like your life wasn't as fair with you as you wanted it to be... sorry for you. You would like to get paid for doing what you really want to do whatever it is? and you don't, so you are mad... make sense.
And btw my trip was fucking insane and I bet my life you would've dream to do something as cool as that. suck on it
Sorry you didn't like it man. If you're looking for another climbing film to get your psych up, check out Silence with Adam Ondra! Truly impossible not to be inspired!
Thank you for your reply Nathaniel!
That intro was beautiful. And damn, don't give up, I guess.
