Hi Ellen from Australia , glad to see you back. I have learnt so much from your videos. I'm a newcomer to bread machines. I originally bought a store brand machine which made nice bread, but I didn't like the high top short loaf. After watching your videos I searched here in Australia and found one that makes a traditional size loaf using 2 paddles. I have cooked in the oven, but just prefer to use the breadmaker. Mine does say you can take the paddles out after the knock back, so I do that and also reshape the loaf. My only complaint this way is that the crust is a bit too hard done in the machine, even on the light setting, so I generally pull it out about 10 minutes prior to the end of cycle. Checking the temperature with a thermometer as suggested by you to make sure it's cooked through. Then I wrap in Alfoil and then place in a calico bag for approximately two hours. Seems to work pretty well. Thankyou for all your knowledge you pass on to us.
Mmmm the rolls look wonderful, heck it all looks wonderful!!!! I like finishing my bread in the oven too...dont get me wrong I love the zo but there is something about baking in the oven!! Ty and wonderful to see ya!
I am so excited to see a recipe from you today. I will buy the ingredients this week and try out the bread and also the rolls like you said might as well use the whole can of pumpkin for something LOL. I also have the same machine as you and I agree I would not be doing an egg wash if I'm baking it in the machine LOL. What a catastrophe! Look forward to more of your videos. They're always successful in my house
Fantastic video as always! I can’t wait to make them this week. I have found that you can rub the loaf from the machine with a little of butter it gives it a shine.
There's my beautiful friend, looking lovely and happy as ever! So much fun to see the difference between baking in the machine versus your pretty new oven. Sounds and look fantastic. ❤
I made the pumpkin bread yesterday. It is wonderful! My grandson wanted to try it for breakfast this morning. We made toast. Buttered toast and put a drizzle of honey on it. I sliced the loaf and put the slices in zip lock bags and put them in the freezer. I do that with all my homemade bread. Thanks again. I told my grandson that I learned so much from you!
Hi love your new oven!!! I found you thru a fb site I’m on and have binged your great channel and have made your pretzel rolls twice and raisin bread twice all SO YUMMIE!! Question….do you create all your recipes or use ones you think are yum and tweak a bit? I enjoy you n your channel. Thank you for being here for us all ✌️💕
I wish I could add my pictures but it won’t allow. Thank you Ellen for this absolutely delicious recipe. You are right, it is so light and full of flavor. I divided the dough into 3 smaller loaves and didn’t add craisins/raisins, but sprinkled Swedish Pearl Sugar. It was so good I made another 3 loaves and I had a package of Pumpkin Spice Candy bits which made like a glaze on top. Next time I’m going to add the Craisins/Rsisins. I gave all these loaves away and it was unanimous-delicious! Thank you!❤

Yum! Making this today. Just FYI in case you didn't know - you can freeze pumpkin in a baggie premeasured for your next loaf. I make a lot of baked goods that don't use a whole can of pumpkin. Also, pumpkin is great for dogs too - a little on their kibble is a big treat.
I made a pound and a half loaf without craisins or raisins cuz my son doesn't like those and he loves all things pumpkin. So we ate the rolls with the craisins and the raisins. OMG so yummy
Beautiful presentation with wonderful tips as well. I like your oven method. I would do this if I had adequate time. Otherwise my machine is perfect. I do appreciate the egg wash look. Have you heard of this vodka wash?
Welcome back, Ellen! Thanks for the excellent video. I will make a loaf of this bread soon (with the raisins and the Craisins). It looks positively delicious!
