Seeing his behavior reminded me of neglected children I knew. They’d have a single parent that didn’t know how to communicate with them because they didn’t really know how or have time to try. I watched my mother spend time with the same kids who’s parents couldn’t get them under control and they would listened to her. They were well behaved for her. She gave them attention, made them feel important and supported, took time to communicate and understand how they felt, and also set boundaries for them inside of her house. Growing up, most of my friends didn’t just want to hang out with me, they wanted to see mom, have long talks, and feel that stability and support, ask advice, or just catch her up on life. I think a lot of the bratty behavior comes from feeling neglected, like if your not loud and annoying then you don’t exist. Oh, and the fact that the older son said “it’s too soon” about the baby…he has more sense and is smarter than the adults in the situation and he’s completely right too!! Smh
Man I feel bad for Jess' kids. They're not wrong for being upset that their mom made the poor decision to get pregnant before they've even had adequate time to adjust to their new step dad. They also suffer from her poor parenting; allowing them to act the way they do outside being upset for legitimate reasons won't do them any favors.

I get this, but they are young kids from the US w/out any apparent cultural background in eating chicken feet/heads. 100% done for their reaction here because their reaction is going to be the complete opposite of Juans and good viewing tv.

To everyone bashing Dawson, be aware he’s the product of his MOTHER. Think about the amount of time this woman has spent on cruises, with Juan on FaceTime, putting all her energy into him. She treats them poorly and raises them even worse. Time she took in dating apps/investing into another home, the kids being put through divorce and sudden introduction of new men. They are the product of her parenting, or lack of. The father is her choice and a reflection of her. How do you blame a 6 year old kid?
@@trashmammal111 As a kid, he’s trying to regain some sense of control. When he says no to the food, it’s not food specific, it’s him trying to have some control over his ever changing life.

Can we just say it upfront? Jessica is not a good mother, end of story. She spoils the boys and makes no effort because it’s more work to discipline a child and teach them not to be whiny than it is to let them get their way. The way she responds to her kids comes off so cold and she clearly doesn’t think about how they feel. Instead of introducing Juan and making sure they all function together, she jumped straight to something as permanent as a baby and then coolly says “oh well it’s too late now the baby is already in my belly” when he kid is saying it’s too soon. I also felt like Jordan and Everton's relationship is very strange. They just seem really awkward and the energy is weird. Also, I forgot Jordan is a nudist so I'm sure she didn't think anything of this. Matthew is SO insecure. He is so lucky those guys didn't come back and whoop him 😂. I do not like that he isn't being honest with Ana. I honestly think that if Lidia was more sexually aggressive, Scott would have been happy not being able to talk. He clearly came there so they could bump uglies for 5 days straight then he'd go back home and forget about Lidia. As soon as he found out she booked two separate rooms he checked out mentally. Also, I don't believe the ex got in touch with him. I think that's just an excuse so he doesn't seem like a "bad guy?". That girl scammed the hell out of him. There is no way he is hoping that continues 😂. Unless she came back to scam him again which good on her because he is a doofus. I don't know what the hell a beautiful girl like her could see in him besides a cash boat. Lidia was super embarrassed and I feel like this is karma for her being so awful.
At some point. But I'm not a short order cook. My now Ex and I had a weekly food budget. Everyone ate what I prepared. But I did notice what was not going over well, so I would adjust. The only difference were our Oldest Son is allergic to seafood, so he was able to order pizza (His favorite food)
I don’t think the kid’s behavior is about the food in particular. It seems like he’s uncomfortable with Juan and everything related to Juan,, but all he’s allowed to say n.o. to is food. He looked like he was actually vying for his mom’s affection. It’s not good that Juan has an aggressive reaction to the children. You want your partner to care but not to think they become the parent. He would be the stepparent at most.
As a partner to someone with kids I totally agree . Kids are protective over their parents and it’s a very complicated situation. I’m definitely taking my time, eventually the kids will accept me … I hope lol
Mind you, this kid is dealing with a lot of life changes. I’d try teaching him about presentation. It’s OK not to like something or to have an opinion about it/nervous trying new things but it’s how you deliver that that’s the issue. you can communicate that you’re nervous about this without whining. Also, I would set a boundary. I’d like him to taste it and that if he did not like it, he did not have to eat it that way they know there’s really no harm in trying a first bite. Let him know it’s ok if he doesn’t like it, but he should at least try. Also, depending on their age and how well they can understand things it wouldn’t hurt to explain; some people don’t have a lot of food and don’t have the option to only eat things that they like and that luckily he does have that option but to keep that in mind when he’s complaining about trying new things, he should be grateful that he has the opportunity to try new things.
The whole scene where Scott gifts Lydia the purse made me realize how shitty they truly are. These women have no shame whatsoever. How are you going to be EXPECTING a gift the first time y’all meet? Oh and her reaction to getting her gift was laughable. It reminded me of when I’d get clothes as a little kid knowing in the back of my mind that I really wanted a Barbie instead. She does not appreciate ANYTHING and it shows! Not to mention, if he ended up with Lydia, he’d also have to add Nicole to that package. Yikes!
I'm on your side-- I don't have kids, and usually think kids I come in contact with are allowed to "raise" their parents rather than the other way around. It seems like discipline, or just plain telling your kid to behave, is so taboo these days. Structure and guidance are not bad things!! So glad I have dogs that are happy to learn how to behave, and will eat anything! Love your channel!
2:36 i would 100% not be happy also. also it’s so sad how common it is for older siblings to feel as if they aren’t gonna get as much love or attention as the new baby..
I think Jordan and her man are totally acting! They're both hustling what they can outta TLC. I wouldn't be surprised if they came clean about it at the reunion.

My daughter is three, when I transitioned her from breast milk to whole foods she ate everything. She ate everything up until the age of three, except for beef and pork (we don’t eat pork and I don’t cook a lot of beef). In the past year she’s become even picker, I just bargain with her. So if she doesn’t eat her pasta then she doesn’t get ice cream. My rule for myself and my daughter is we have to try it first before we say we don’t like it. This has worked for me and my three year old.
Karma has come back for Lydia for how she treated Pedro and his wife, you see what you send out comes right back to you what you sow you reap be kind to everyone
Welcome to my wheel house. I'm a father of four kids. I've taught preschool for 17 years. when raising kids they will test boundaries and see what's acceptable to their parents. From the first time anything happens you don't accept you have to make that clear. If its not clear and you let that child get away with murder they will continue this behavior because you have established that the behavior is acceptable. You can see in the clip mom is accepting his behavior. There are no boundaries or consequences if those boundaries are crossed. Parenting is fairly simple but you have to be consistent. Kids need structure. You have to start this when they are young.
Amen to this. With that, can you please validate that this child is entirely a creation of his parents? His mother is the one who is entirely responsible. Think about the time spent on cruises, on dating apps, negligence and raising them in a broken home to begin with. She’s entirely devoted to a new relationship, which has taken year and more to develop. Think about the time, attention and active act of parenting these kids have been void of. She infantilizes them with her tone.
I hope Matthew is drinking water in between all his carnival drinks because that hangover is gonna hit him like a hurricane while Ana is starting day 2.
when i was little, my parents never forced me to try foods, they'd say "try a bite, if you hate it? spit it out, but at least try it" and i discovered so many amazing foods that way and needless to say i've never been a picky eater
My take, which probably won't be very popular,is that Jessica thought having a baby would be good for keeping them together in the end.I feel like if they had more time together to figure things out I am not sure they would have even stayed together.Po,Everton is someone I know and him sleeping around is not news to any of us on the island,he was even trying to chat me up while they were together with other girls I know too.I think the whole voicemail thing was staged but he does like to get around.
That is nooooooot how you tell young kids that they're gonna have a little sibling. Children that young don't understand that mom and dads love can be spread evenly. They want all of the attention on them at all times and that's normal. You ease them into it over the course of weeks or even months. You involve them in activities for the new baby, let them pick out toys, clothes etc. Hell, do what my stepmother did when she was pregnant with my younger sister and get a doll, let the boys practice holding and "feeding" the baby. Get them excited for it. Me and my sister couldn't WAIT for baby sister to be born, to the point where we got mad because she wasn't born on the day we wanted her to be lmao. Anyway, what you don't do is gather your two young kids, in front of a camera and be like "Ayy lmao, guess what, nerds? Yo mommas gonna pop out a kid with this guy who ain't your daddy!"
Jessica has no brains. She was just trying to trap some guy - any guy with a job - to be a daddy to her brats. She keeps bringing her cute single friend around him and she’ll find out real quick that she’s more attractive to him AND doesn’t have 3 bratty kids in tow.
In Dawson’s defense, that soup looked really nasty, but if I said anything bad about it in front of the person that cooked it my Mexican parents would’ve spanked me so hard lol
Jessica is going to keep feeding Dawson chicken nuggets, and he'll be diagnosed as "on the spectrum" & ADHD (along with a handful of other neuro processing disorders) by the time he hits kindergarten. I also just heard that Jessica got pregnant right after her ex, the boys father, announced he was having a baby with his new partner. So, not only has Jessica trapped Juan with a pregnancy, but she also did it out of competition and jealously about her ex! WHAT THE ACTUAL F IS GOING ON WITH THIS WOMAN??? So now she decides it's a great idea to bring her 2 young sons to a foreign country, Columbia, to throw them into a relationship with a man SHE BARELY KNOWS, to tell them that not only is this their new step father but that their mother & the man is ALSO HAVING ANOTHER BABY, just like their father is!!! NO WONDER, THEY FELL LIKE THEY ARE BEING REPLACED!!!! Jessica is full on responsibility for putting her children through some trauma to play high school games. Smdh. DCF probably knows her on a first name basis.
Most parents would simply take the food so the child doesn't eat anything then kids would ask for the food later when they were hungry, or do the opposite and make them stay at the table for hours on end until they ate. When I was little I decided ok, I'm gonna divide this into 4 parts then eat this quarter, then force myself to eat another quarter of it. I'd do that for each item lol. I'd do the same method for siblings. It was kinda adorable, but very understandable too how the older brother reacted. It's adorable because he totally forgot that his younger brother was once a baby too, and mommy didn't forget about you back then (which was a few years ago) LOL.
Scott is smart. If he hooked up with Lydia, the show would be over. I think he's going to be on another season with the ex gf. Besides, Lydia suvks on multiple levels anyway.
So mom not married to the new man in her life gets pregnant and has 2 extremely young children she’s exposing this stranger to. I do feel for the children that these children are being exposed to bad human behavior. She is not an example of any kind of child rearing. These boys are going to give her grief that she brought upon herself!
I can't help looking at Scott and comparing his face to his dogs lol. They look exactly the same. Pull up a picture of his dog. Speaking to his ex is just an excuse for "I'm just not into you"

I'm happy Scott broke up with her!! Karma came and bit her in the arse, finally!!
I believe Scott just said his ex gf reached out to him as an excuse to get rid of her!!
Ok, but that means in some cultures you don’t. 😉
Yeah, it had the vibe of. It’s not you it’s me.
Whatever excuse, it's still worth escaping.
Literally couldn’t watch this season bc of Lydia and her awful daughter. Please be done with the curse of Pedro
Absolutely thank you!
That family is what nightmares are made of 🙅♀️🙅♀️🤮
Extremely cringe. No more thank you.
I definitely think that was the major reason for Scott wanting to end things, not because his ex reached back out to him. He used his ex as an excuse.
@@Ambi1021 I think so.
Lydia is terrible. I don't feel sorry for her.
Fake lawyer.
She’s a complete FAKE!!
I actually hate her
She wanted to break it off 1st😂
And just like that, karma has come for Lydia. 😏😏😏
And I'm loving it!!!!
👏👏👏👏 Yep!!
YesYaaaasssssss! 🎉🎉🎉
Scott is shady, but it saved his ass from this toxic woman.
i feel like the older one is upset cause when dawson was born, he got less attention and was forgotten about and that’s also why he said “it’s too early” since dawson is still fairly young… kinda sad lol
I was feeling and saying the same thing. I hurt for Dalton.
I dont think Scott and Lydia would get along even if there wasn't a language barrier
Yes language was not their problem.
Yeha causes Lydia is a such a raging btch
I was watching some of your recaps yesterday & my mom was like “I love the potato girl!”, I didn’t even think she paid attention to these things but she loves 90 day fiancé & the spin offs. We binged some of your videos together afterwards. Thank you for giving us something to do together❤😂
This made my day :) I’m going to see if my daughter will start watching with me :)
Awe😭 I hope she does! It’s fun having someone else to watch it with!
Thanks for the updates.. I choose to not watch the show live. TLC should be ashamed of the couples they now have on the show these last few seasons.
I was cracking up when Scott dumped Lydia lol😂😂, her and her daughter are hideous.
I think Scott wised up when Lydia’s horrible daughter interrogated him and 11:03 basically tried to shake him down for money.
True colors have been shown. Run while you can. Lydia is always out for the all American dollar...
@@kimeakin9818 exactly.
Exactly it seems like he was giving her a chance till that happened
I don't watch the series because of Lydia and Nicole. So this recap was a bit satisfying to say the least. Run, Scott, Run. They are both bottom feeders. The fact that TLC has given them a spot made the hair on the back of my neck stand up and donkey-kick chicken wings off the table.
Alright yeah Lidia you got your karma
Scott dumped Lydia cause he has some sense in that head
Who wouldn't dump Lydia?
Does he
I really need her to talk more authoritatively to her sons or I'm gonna lose my mind.
Lydia got humbled real quick 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
No plastic surgery can fix her gold digger behavior! 🙄
Fake lawyer. Fake luv.
I was raised by my grandma and I would NEVER act like that as a kid around her. She didn't have to hit or spank me to make me listen either. Sometimes discipline can be a good thing, it doesn't have to be harsh for it to happen. If that makes sense.
I had butt busted moments and time outs and the time outs made me so miserable.
I had the same kind of grandma and I loved her so much...a little bit discipline is not that bad...😉
It was the eyebrow raise. 😳
Im so happy Lydia got dumped ! It makes me happy ! What great karma
Even Her 8 year old son has common sense 😂 he was right about how it too early to have a baby 😂 i felt bad seeing that and how he feels 😢 that girl needs to get it together.. Scott he is just crazy he knew going there that he was going to meet with his ex i don’t like that family but I did feel a slight bit sad for Lydia ..and the ex is only reaching out because she probably ran out of money !!

My mom always said “this is your lunch/dinner, if you don’t eat, you’ll stay hungry” 😂 worked for me, now I eat basically every food
I like the one bite rule. Both of my kids are great and adventurous eaters
Same here ...
I’m Colombian and exactly from Juan’s city and getting the chicken foot and head are considered lucky, like if you’re the one who gets it on your soup you’re really fortunate and we consider it the best part of the soup, it wasn’t done to just “gross them out”.
I get this, but they are young kids from the US w/out any apparent cultural background in eating chicken feet/heads. 100% done for their reaction here because their reaction is going to be the complete opposite of Juans and good viewing tv.

I know Jamaicans and i can assure you that Everton does not care about what Jordan does. He gets all the way around.
Nobody is blaming the kid. They’re blaming the mom because she baby’s the boys and now they act like brats 🤷🏽♀️
@@ichangedmynameforyoutube agreed. Like he’s still a brat, regardless of it being his mothers fault or not. 😂
@@trashmammal111 As a kid, he’s trying to regain some sense of control. When he says no to the food, it’s not food specific, it’s him trying to have some control over his ever changing life.

They have a father too! He parents them half the time so lets spread blame evenly.
Jordan is like stacy and Darcy's long lost triplet .
She’s just a crap mother. Poor kids.
What has happened to Motherhood?

You were on 🔥 today. I was cracking up 😂 like he knows what custom content is 😂
If I was Scott I would be out the door. Espically after the daughter entered with her barrage of questions which were disrectful and intrusive for a meet and greet.
This is the truest comment
Dude I just realized that’s Pedro’s mom. Honestly feel way less bad for her. She and her daughter were awful.
I never want to wish bad on anyone but it’s a good feeling to see horrible people being served their karma - I’m talking about lydia
Kids are allowed to have food preferences. Idk have the kid try it but they are allowed to say no I don’t like it
At some point.
This! Poor kid is being thrown into a situation he's not ready for, & his mom is not trying to prepare him for this very well
As a partner to someone with kids I totally agree .
Yikes!
The thing that made me sick lydia opening her mouth n cackling when nicole questioned him real funny now huh lydia big mouth mooch
Then he wouldn't eat. He'd finally eat when he was hungry. Authority boundaries
I feel like it’s weird that Pedro’s whole family has a connection to this show

They’re all scammers and TLC loves them for some reason
I feel like Scott's ex only came back to use him for more money. Just wait, if he gives her money I'm sure she will ghost again

Anyone thinking about how cruel it is the give a kid a chicken head soap so you can get his reaction on camera.
Or tell him you're having a baby on camera
Yeh. They’re really using those kids and setting them up to be criticised by strangers. It’s a pretty crappy thing to do as a parent.
In Juan's culture, that chicken head soup is a delicacy that he was proud to share with them. The mother didn't do her job the explain things.
No I didn't like that those kids are American and as mom she should have been like we need to have something for the kids just in case they don't like it.

@@babyboo906 Regardless, tradition or not. The kids are American and the mother knew it would shock her child. It's the reaction she wanted. Poor kid to have to experience that. Shame on the mother. It shocked me an adult just watching it on TV.
Yes big deal. But he should have seen this before making a child.

That was hilarious when Scott went to production.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🙌🏼 yes!

My take is "Why do you think they'll stay together?"
Everton is a gyalis. Jordan didn’t get the memo (not that she’s a prize herself) - a white wedding dress should never be in her closet!
Lydia- showing you your ex isn’t as bad as you thought 😅😅😅
The fact that she doesn't teach them to be resepctful instead of yelling "EW, EW!" says a lot about her and her qualities as a parent.
That makes sense about promoting her spicy content.
I’m sorry that happened to you when you were little. 😢
Not “the other one pulled out a chicken head”😂 That made me think of the song🥴
Yes, people in OF have figured out they can get more fans and make more money if they go on national tv on a show like this
Jessica is going to keep feeding Dawson chicken nuggets, and he'll be diagnosed as "on the spectrum" & ADHD (along with a handful of other neuro processing disorders) by the time he hits kindergarten.
I used to insist that our kids take a “polite bite” , one bite to try the food. I never bargained with them in regards to food.

They have NO chemistry. She’s a Murican looking for clout for her OF and he’s a gyalis banging anything with a pulse. They’re both using TLC because it’s producers aren’t particularly bright.
