It's less than 24hrs until the early access for Dragon Ball Sparking Zero unlocks. I thought for a final video I'd go through each character and form from Tenkaichi 3 that isn't returning to DBSZ. Hope you enjoy :)
Nam is NOT a joke character. He was a legitimate contender for the tournament and had actually skills and was a character whos story was finished thanks to the generosity of roshi.
They probably wouldn't deem that necessary. Selypa (Fasha in the dub) arguably only made into BT3 because she's the lone female member, like how Zangya made it into BT3 but not Bojack's other subordinates (not even Gokua, the only other one who can transform and actually has a sword, which matches up with Trunks, who he fought, and could make for some interesting moves).
Goku teen and goku mini (from diama) are not the same characters. The reason they call him goku teen instead of kid goku is beacuse hes the goku that fought demon king piccolo during the tournament, and he was actually a teenager at that time despite looking small. Goku mini from daima is a COMPLETELY different character from a show that isnt even out yet. Both goku teen and goku mini will be in the game as separate fighters
No, that was Nova Shenron's Costume 2, basically changed his color to a whiteish blue. Its not exactly the same color but it's pretty close and easy to mix them up
Mandela effect is when a large group of people believed something happened a certain way bc they perceived it as such, but something else happened in reality. A Mandela effect isn’t when you forgot a character isn’t in a game but in the sequel, why’s everyone misusing new words? Does everyone online do this or is the allure of the internet word that gets you to say it even when it’s not appropriate? Nah but srsly you’re not the only one that does it, people be thinking that the Mandela effect is when you misremember something when that can’t be further from the actual definition, which is easy too like you just need a large group of people remembering an event a certain way, and then years later they all find out they thought the same wrong thing for (maybe) different reasons
On Ps2, every characters were unlockable just by playing. Making characters not unlockable without a Dlc or Season pass kinda makes me sad and is not in the spirit of a tenkaichi budokai. We had to work hard to get our characters, now we just pay.... :(
You made a mistake, There IS a kid goku, he's called teen goku cause he was 15 (Or 16 can't remember) when he fought piccolo and Goku (mini) is Daima Goku.
Not sure if anyone will agree with me but I do hope that they add Zangya to Sparking Zero. She could possibly be apart of a dlc pack full of characters that were in the old Tenkaichi characters that aren't in Sparking Zero

That's the new characters that I want in the next season passes of Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero.
The removal of Fasha is disappointing, as, from the look of it, we are getting Bardock as he appears in Z (Though, it wouldn't surprise if his Super appearance was an available costume). I was hoping that Team Bardock would be playable, and be present in a what-if scenario where they face the Ginyu force.

The only thing I have a problem with in sparking zero is the exclusion of a lot of characters like these. Instead we have 10% of the roster as Goku. I feel like it could’ve been condensed to make room for these guys.
I would love to see a Kakorot inspired DLC with new story, Custom what ifs, Maps, and characters centered around OG DB, Team Bardock, the Movies, and GT

I actually wanted all of the characters from BT3 to appear in BT4 (Sparkling Zero). It’s an odd choice of choosing characters like Pan (GT) and Frieza’s Soldier, but not characters like Pikkon and Arale
i'm still extremely sad about the lack of these characters. how am i supposed to run 5 great apes on a team. i also would like characters from xenoverse 2 and raging blast 2. i wanted a bigger roster with different named characters. for this reason i'm not getting sparking zero till it goes on sale and the dlc is out. gg

Chill bruh We got a big chunk of the roster covered. Perhaps they couldn't get the voice actors for those characters or something. Those characters will make it into the game eventually. How many times did the community said the same thing only to be proven wrong by the latest trailers? Just you wait. And even if they didn't make it, the roster already revived a lot of underrated characters from the grave.

a lot of the BT3 characters were negligible. namely the great apes. the only characters i think should have been on the base Sparking zero roster is pikkon, Super 17, Nouva and eis shenron, Tao and demon king piccolo. otherwise id say its a solid roster. who really cares about Base form garlic JR lool, most people here want characters in the game just for the sake of filling slots

Personally, problem with og dragon ball characters they would all have to be 1-2 dp characters cos of how weak they are in cannon. They seem to be trying to turn sparking into a competitive game and have no point in adding trash filler charcaters no one will play besides hardcore fans of said characters. If they add them, i would make them free dlc. Wouldn't pay for characters that are slightly better than Mr. Satan.
The majority of these cuts make no sense. The idea of them releasing more content that should've been in the game from launch is heinous and embarrassing.

I hope they bring back the OG Dragon Ball cast. Part of the fun in these games is pairing up characters who would never meet otherwise.

Also you made a mistake. Goku (Teen) in this game is not based on Daima. His design is from Dragon Ball Super: Broly.
