Goku being in base form for the Father-Son Kamehameha in Burst Limit is partially correct, since it happens in the manga and is corrected in DBS:SH
manga canon so it would be correct instead of partially correct

Burst limit was right, in the original manga goku was in base form when helping gohan with the kamehameha.
The female researcher in Kakarot is Vomi, Dr. Gero's wife. She's the basis for Android 21 like how her son Gevo was the basis for Android 16. Shows how much Dr. Gero despite being evil, cared about his family, he lost them and made androids in their image to have reminders of them
Cool thing is Toyotaro essentially made android 13 somewhat canon as well. He drew Gero family tree and Gero has an older son Ghus who looks like Android 13, so Android 13 and his movie are not canon but within manga Android 13 design is canonized as Geros 1st son Ghus design(Gevo is his 2nd son). So it's essentially like Bardock situation where he was not canon but AT canonized him.

Spirit bomb being used in super Saiyan blue makes sense as that form is stated to be focused on being calm (even if we never see that use, it's stated in the manga)
He also does it in Super Saiyan god in Xenoverse 1 and 2.

I think "Garlic Gun" is actually supposed to be correct technically because it fits the Vegetable pun from Vegeta's origin. But it was likely mistranslated as Galick Gun, as the romanization.

It IS Gralick Gun, you're correct. In Japanese and in the english manga it's called "Gyarriku Ho", emphasis on the R in Gyarriku. A more accurate english translation would be "Garlic-Ha".
And I remembered, Vegeta’s attack in BT games “Final Galick Cannon” is how it is in the American version, but the PAL version in English says “Final Garlic Cannon”

That is true, his 'first form' , 'second form' and 'third form' are all just suppressions of his full power, but he calls them by that because of how he usually stays in his 'first form' due to how nobody usually surpassed that heavily suppressed power level, even including the elite Ginyu Force.
It was odd that there was a time I didnt think beam clashes were going to be a mechanic anymore, from Infinite world, and then Xenoverse.

Now that I’m thinking about it ginyu not being able to use any supers in BT3 is lore accurate because that’s the reason he lost to begin with. He doesn’t know how to use goku’s body.
Not sure if this is a secret in budokai series,, but the analog stick by default is the four face buttons on the controller, meaning you could just mash the face buttons in a circle to get the same effect. I won more beam battles that way.
Gokule fusion looks way different depending on the outfit you use. One looks like Goku with Hercule hair, and the other is Hercule with Goku hair.
The special edition of Budokai 2 also had an extra Dragon World level with Yamcha Tien fusion.
Speaking of Dragon World, in the level where babidi turn Vegeta majin, if Vegeta somehow lands on the same space as Majin Buu, he will do his self destruction move like in the lore and the level will end.
The Japanese version of Budokai 2 also has a what-if in Dragon World where Tiencha can fight Frieza's son. Beating him lets you unlock him as a skin for Frieza. Iirc, it also had costumes that were not in the U.S. version.

Piccolo and Krillin couldn't fuse because the drastic difference, making Piccolo have to crouch down and also making it so they're unable to be perfectly synced

18:00 This made me curious, I've seen both versions a couple of times but never was sure on which was the correct iteration, so I looked at the manga, oddly enough Goku's hair is actually spiked up as if he was a super saiyan, the weird part is that it's colored in like he was in base form, instead of being whited out. That's probably why it's shown different ways here and there, I imagine the anime showed him in Super Saiyan which would explain why it's the more common version.
The anime version was actually an error, and was fixed in 2 flashbacks, one from Battle of Gods, and one from DBS: Superhero.

I'd like if you more often mentioned what game you're talking about at any given point.
You introduce a lot of the trivia bits by talking about "this game" ehuch doesn't help much when you don't recognize the footage.
On the spirit bomb he tried to perform the spirit bomb in Budokai 3. He gets it to form but it fades as he can't sustain it so he absorbs it instead and unleashes dragon fist. I know its not him unleashing it but i still think its pretty cool he got the spirit bomb to form while in SSJ3.
It looks better when he's in SSJ4
I mean he also used the spirit bomb in SSB kaioken x20 in the tournament of power against Jiren
He also absorbs it in the Super Android 13 movie

Mans out here stating Goku was Super Saiyan during the Father-Son Kamehameha without pointing out the important differential that he is in fact NOT in Super Saiyan during that specific moment in the source material. The hair was styled as if it were, but is colored to be black. And at the specific time he is in the otherworld holding his hand on King Kai's back to motivate Gohan, in his base form. I believe that whole thing was an animation error, unless he was in base AND Super Saiyan at the same time.

I love that, from the very beginning, Trunks is portrayed as a technique using genius who uses creative strategy and planning to win his fights. From the start, he uses moves that he taught himself. Vegeta's training must really work

In the cell saga goku learned how to remain in ssj without having negative impacts, so its possible that now rage is only needed to bring on the transformation and doesnt need to be present the whole time while in the transformation

Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 1 play as Super Saiyan 4 Goku vs Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta when Goku wins he starts talking in Japanese.
Vegeta's "Galic Gun" was actually the miss translation lol his attack is litterally "Garlic canon" in Japan. How ever like "Vegetto" being changed to "Vegito" and "Freezer" being changed to "Frieza" in Japan..looks like they gave in on that too.
In tenkaichi 3 you could still touch the ring without getting hit and still get ringed out, its how I won pretty often because the AI would just dragon rush towards a wall.

The God forms aren't activate by hate like the Super Saiyan, so makes sense that he can use the spirit bomb.
Also, Goku mastered SSJ1 in Cell saga, so he is no longer bound by hate, this is why he can manipulate the spirit bomb but I'm sure that Akira just forgot.
Mostly correct but it's more so anger not hate and no he still can't actually use kaio ken or spirit bomb in any ssj other then filler.

Spirit Bomb can be used by Goku as a Super Saiyan in Xenoverse 2 as well if you set the Super Spirit Bomb as your ultimate with the partner customization. He won't go back to base form when you use the spirit bomb

The reason gt goku can’t fuse is because with the metamoran fusion technique both people also need to be the same size

Freeza's "final form" (before gold and black Freeza) is just his base form, the other transformations were just power limiters.
I'm Pretty sure why Future Gohan from Shin Budokai 1 or 2 has SS2 & Ultimate Gohan Forms is because in That Game's Story mode Future Gohan trained and got Super Saiyan 2,Future Gohan was then given his Ultimate Form by Future Elder Kai.

First fact has some issues, some of the Budokai games have Goku use the spirit bomb while transformed so he can absorb it (a reference to Super Android 13) and the Xenoverse games have no issue with using both spirit bomb types while transformed
ngl didn't expect SSB Goku to do the Spirit Bomb unlike Base/Mastered SSJ1(I think)/SSG/UI/MUI for all of those forms he has a clear and calm mind especially when it comes to Ultra Instinct
If I remember correctly DB Fusions has names for all of its mixes. Some of the fusions are Cell + Freiza, Freiza + Buu, Buu + Cell

Actually, one of the endings of the original Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans Video Game had Goku kill Hachiyack by using the Spirit Bomb as a Super Saiyan
I hope if the creators don’t already add it in game that modders eventually mod a way in the new bt4 for characters to stack powers they haven’t done in the show or manga, and fusions for all characters. Seriously imagine buu taking over an angels body and absorbing angel powers. Or gt and super goku fusing together allowing them to use ssj4 with god ki, ultra instinct, and kaioken all at the same time. Allow players to stack crazy powers and characters in a desperate attempt to defeat the grand priest. And fighting the grand priest should basically be borderline impossible. With his health bar, hax, and abilities so extreme that even a fully maxed out goku can’t make a dent.
It would even be cool if you could have team battles and bring in enough characters so that two can fuse, and then the fusion can fuse.

jokes aside, given that fusion names are also a fusion of the sylabes... how do you name a fusion between Buu and Cell ? there's nothing much you can do. Bell? Cuu? Buull? Ceuu? all of them sound horrible.

Budokai 1 trivia: The hugest amount of damage a custom character can do is Trunks at 3K damage, meaning you can set up burning attack to be an instant kill.
Vegeta can have his capsules manipulated in such a way that he's the only character that can go past the allowed capsule size
In Dragonball Z Budokai 2 V-Jump there's some modified capsule changes on Adult Gohan and Hercule (I discovered this.)

Goku was indeed in his base form during the father-son kamehameha in the manga, it’s the anime and majority of the games that have him shown as a Super Saiyan.
Super Saiyan blue kaioken requires a calm mind and heart, and at this point in the story it's been established that going ssj doesn't effect them mentally or physically much anymore due to cell ark so I can buy.
Goku can use super spirt bomb while in SSJ SSJ2 SSJ3 in Xenoverse custom keys let you put on SSJ4 and God as well

0:06 i have to disagree, if you really think about it, he charges up a spirit bomb in multiple forms in Dbz Budokai 3 and Infinite world. Yes it’s technically “super dragon fist” but he is still shown holding a spirit bomb if you perform the technique in SSJ or higher in those games specifically.

Gotenks does double buster in Budokai 2. In Budakai 1 Cell is the only one to have the blue Kamehameha. In Raging Blast the reason why Goku's hair is different in his later gi is because that's how it was in the show. The Goku and Hercule fusion in Budakai 2 had 2 different looks (one with Goku's clothes and Hercule's hair and one with Hercule's clothes with Goku's hair shown in the video).

@@acecashman1237that is also wrong, he turned supper saiyan just to push the spirit bomb into kid buu, since it was already formed by that point there was no risk of the transformation interefering with it, he just needed an extra boost in strength to prevent kid buu from pushing it back
