Just changing the playstyle for every faction and each one of the Main Quests. Always i end up way to powerful after defeating Harkon and that is why i love to play on survival mode.
@@ValorousSkyrim If i can give you one suggestion. What is the LDB is a real vampire hunter, and you know it was stupid that we couldn’t kill Serana the first time we meet her and bring forced to accompany her to the castle. But this Dragonborn who doesn’t need Auriel’s Bow to defeat the vampires he can actually kill Serana or leave her rooting for eternity in the crypt so she can’t hurt any human being.
Perhaps that 'what if' could have worked, depending on the route he took in his previous life. This one finished the Dawnguard questline and had a good relationship with Serana, as he mentioned he was going to free her more out of respect than need. Lore-wise, Serana is the strongest follower in the game and probably the one closest to the Last Dragonborn (don’t quote me on that). But you did give me an idea for something else!
We need the Dragonborn to try to get Miraak to see reason, and stop his chicanery. Imagine both the First and Last Dragonborn kicking Herma Mora's butt to next Morndas.
oh, man. that'd be incredibly hard to pull off, and even if he managed to convince Miraak for a team up, I'm not sure what they could realistically do.
@ValorousSkyrim There was a mod that quite literally had this as an optional route for the story. What they could do together is travel through time to set things right. Imagine a grand story fixing everything that culminated in Alduin coming back and Miraak teaming up Herma Mora, even correcting the Volkihar Vampire issue before it becomes one. Their actions, causing shifts in the Elder Scrolls and reshuffling history as they know it, perhaps even playing right into a divine trap of sorts that was set up as a contingency. Even if that isn't your shtick, Miraak could help you beat Herma Mora, and just relax, he is/has been/ is being played by a Daedric Prince and if there is no need to kill another Dragonborn, why not let him live? So long as he isn't harming anyone, it shouldn't be an issue. Shoot, Miraak could even be made the High King of Skyrim since, objectively, both the Empire and Stormcloaks suck.
Absolutely loved this video, had my attention from the first word spoken all the way to the end! I love that the dragonborn was direct with Isran, the gravity of the knowledge he Possess mixed with the duties he must follow would carry through his tone and actions thoroughly. Absolutely brilliant story telling with describing everything with intricate detail. Excited for part 2 and the rest to come out! Also subbed with notifications on!
Also I feel like the mention of him thinking of Irileth and the Whiterun guard was steller, Cant wait to listen to more of the Dragonborns internal struggles as he goes through the world with past knowledge. (Meeting a side quest giver and knowing someone will die if he doesn't help, but he simply cant because he knows what could happen if he lingers too long. and the sacrifices he must make along the way for the greater good!)
@@BigMike3525.I loved that you noticed that! This episode was the easy part, though. The real challenge comes with making some tough choices that not everyone will agree with. Since there’s no concrete lore for many things, it often comes down to speculation. My goal is to portray him as someone who doesn’t always make the right choices. He didn’t complete all the side quests, he wouldn’t know what happened on the opposite side of the war. There are a lot of leaps of faith that have to be made. There are a lot of routes I can take, but I need to focus on the choices this Dragonborn is going to make, not what a perfect, all-knowing one would choose. I’ll make this clear in the next video. Also, I can’t promise much when it comes to minor side quests, as much as I love the idea. I don’t have a lot of knowledge about all the side quests, and they would need to align with the path he takes. I’d love to hear your ideas, though! LoreRim 2.0! hold off until Christmas as they are releasing 3.0! I made a few modifications, such as switching some combat animations, switched to Pi-Cho Enb, and removed the stagger effect to help make the combat more cinematic
Wonder if this rebirth of the Dragonborn is another one of Hermaeus Moras tricks or new schemes; or if it is Talos himself who has sent him back, to make things "right" - to save more lives than the first time?
Haha this is fun, will look forward to the next parts. But I do have some questions, kinda a bit of devil’s advocate here: . 1. How does the LDB time travel? Like Dragon breaks or an Elder Scroll? . 2. How many factions or side quests he had to do in his past life? One life does not seem to be enough time to gain foreknowledge of the other factions. 3. Who else had this time travel power? Would they also do the same thing for their own purpose and might interfere with the LDB too?
Ah, you see, your actual question is whether I’m going to make this a 5-part series or a 20-part one. 1. That would be something you would figure out in later parts 2. Minor side quests will mostly be ignored. His main objective is to prevent as many deaths as possible. For something like the Civil War, you can assume he has experienced the perspective of one side. 3. As of now, I’m not sure. Alduin and Miraak would most likely be aware of the Last Dragonborn's time travel, which alone complicates the story tremendously. I realized this later while writing, which is why I decided to release only the first part. I need to rewrite a lot. I need to decide if this will become a LONG series or take some liberties with the time travel aspect of the video for simplicity's sake I love input and questions like this! I’m going to have to live and breathe Elder Scrolls lore for the next few weeks, lol. I know the choices I make won’t make everyone happy, but I want to emphasize that the Last Dragonborn can make wrong choices, and their decisions in this story aren’t nearly as linear as the main quest.
@ thanks for putting thoughts on my response. Hope you enjoy writing and making the next episodes. I don’t care how long it is as long as the workload makes sense to you! Personally I think Harkon and Miraak were strategically really dumb looking back. I would like to see at least Miraak having foresight and brainpower on steroids.
This is actually how I play every playthrough. I started doing this a few years ago, going beyond 100 with console commands. Except with Alteration, for reasons.
You don't need for it to be inexplicable, I'm pretty sure that the dragon born after the the main quest, the two DLC and eating a fair share of dragons is perfectly capable of time traveling. Let's nor forget that he is a fragment of the time god aka and eating dragon souls who are also aka fragments makes his fragment bigger, by the time you are describing he should be a big enough shard wihtou being bound to a specific role like alduin, akatosh auriel that he very probably could just shout "Tiid Wund Vod"(time time past) and just will himself to the past. It would create a pretty sizeable dragon break tho, it would also would wound him as his soul would shatter into the different dragons he slained but no longer has slained, and all the dragons, including Alduin would know of the future as it would be time travel also from their perspective, also Akatosh and Auriel would be pretty mad, and Alduin would be ultra mad, but for defeating him. All things considered, this would be a very bad move. Freaking TES dragons are more biological time machines with reality warping powers than literal winged lizards, at least lore wise. They would all be aware of any time travel and have the perspective as if they time traveled as well.
This was fascinating! A sort of view into what happens when you complete the game and start a new playthrough. Though you imply here that your Dragonborn is the same person - same race, same gender, same everything - as his previous life. I think you should have the Dragonborn "speak", but told as the narrative you're already doing, as if you're reading from a book. Otherwise, it would seem as though the NPC's have to anticipate what he needs without him saying a word. That's awkward, at best. Subscribing and following this to see where it leads. I'd love to see your mod list, because a few things I noticed were aspects I'd like to include in my own game. Also, your Dragonborn is *HOT*! (*fans herself*)
hmmm, I'm not sure how long the TLD actually can live to be. Miraak was a special case due to him being stuck in Apocrypha, which isn't bound by the normal flow of time. perhaps in a scenario where the TLD was a vampire or received a Divine or Daedric boon. It's a good idea.
That was my original plan, but it took me a whole day to finish the first 15 minutes (not including the actual writing part, that took much longer) Next part will be at least 30 minutes.
Don’t look at it from a gameplay perspective. Regardless, I think it scales with level, meaning the Dragonborn would still get high scaling since they aren’t starting at level 1. But once again, there are no 'levels' or 'stats' in this.
The time it would take to acquire. It would have sent him in the opposite direction of Kynesgrove. While it’s hard to say exactly how much time he had before Alduin would appear, the trip wasn’t worth it for Dragonbane, especially considering that Chillrend was a very good alternative, given Alduin’s weakness to frost
If I may add my opinion, I think your story would have higher stakes if the Dragonborn had actually failed in the original timeline, and this was his second chance to make things right. Otherwise, the premise sort of feels like the groundhog day 🤔 Don't get me wrong, the story is neat, but I just wanted to share my thoughts as a feedback. Honestly, this would make for an awesome mod 👍
Uh..I mostly showcased www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/83987 www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/117610 The unarmed combat, I am not sure. Whatever LoreRim comes with. I only added the 2 above to better represent the dragonborn's strength.
I dont see it that way. You see one of Akatosh's biggest mistakes was when he created Alduin and the dragons as they were powerful and all knowing all of theircabilities and powers from creation. This resulted in arrogance lack of empathy understanding and the belief of their right to dominate and rule over all other life. Alduin himself even turning on his creator and ignoring him. The Dragonborns like the last one are how the dragons should have been. Made to learn and grow their power to train their power through effort this in turn would have humbled the dragons they would have learnt responsibility andcperhaps respect the world more. The last Dragonborn is mearly a tool created to correct Akatosh's mistake by defeating Alduin the rest of the dragons will be humbled.
I’m working on it today! I’m aiming to have it ready by either Tuesday or Wednesday, though it might be sooner. However, I won’t make the mistake of giving an incorrect ETA this time! The next episode will be longer.
My opinion on the speaking Dragonborn: Not for me. Putting words in the Dragonborn's mouth unnecessarily extends conjecture at potential actions and decisions. It forces me to further suspend disbelief to go along with your version of the Dragonborn that speaks and what exactly they would say that goes beyond the agreed upon "Yes" "No" and "More Quests, Please." that the Dovakiin is known for. He's a reactionary hero whose agency comes from the player, the gods, or their environment depending on who you ask, but they're not really an "ideas" guy.
Love the input! I have him speaking around 1-2 sentences in the next episode because it felt absolutely necessary for the conversation to not feel 'lacking.'
@@Avinele If you looked at his other videos you can clearly tell he uses A.I. voice but unless he says himself this is not an A.I. voice, Him and I going to assume this is an A.I. voice
Yes, it was an AI voice as much as I hate to admit it. I was scared that the lack of a soothing voice would ruin these themes of video. I put a lot of effort into it, and did not wish a factor such as the voice you are born with to be the decisive factor on its success (being a perfectionist amplified the worry). the creator of the voice WAS paid, and if it bugs people so much, future videos after this series will be voiced. Does it sound bad to you, I only cared about making the video the best it could.
@@ValorousSkyrimthe video itself is quite good, people are just tired of AI voices everywhere these days. So so many channels today on tik tok, UA-cam, and elsewhere use AI and it’s harder and harder to find stories from non AI voiced channels
Problem is that lorewise, Alduin would remember being defeated as it would be time travel also from his perspective due to the way dragons works in TES, Alduin even more. So he would know to send mortal adversaries vs the dragonborn rather than himself or dragons, it would very probably also look like as if he time traveled for Miraak and all dragons, slained or not. Dragons are deeply related with time as they are sentient fragments of the entity which makes up time, so they would 100% have the same perspective of "returning to the past" as the Dragonborn and would take actions respective to that. The only one fucked up would be Harkon
Yeah, this is exactly what I’m struggling with the most, the fact that Alduin, the dragons, and Miraak would know, like you said. It adds a large amount of complexity to the story, potentially requiring the series to be upwards of 20 parts. I’m still trying to decide how I want to handle the time-travel aspect of the story or if, for the sake of a 'what-if,' I should make some exceptions.
Sorry for the last response! I am using LoreRim, so I can’t say for certain what my mod setup is. I did turn off maxsuPoise, as it makes creating these cinematic fights a lot more difficult-one hit knocks you out of the attack animation. I still have Modern Stagger Lock on, but that’s all I see related to Poise.
You attempt to defeat Alduin with no armor, no accessories, no potions, and just a random iron sword you probably picked up off a dead guard! Plus, the Alduin in this story is far stronger than the one in the game.
My original plan was to create this mostly in the style of an audiobook (I still wrote it with this in mind, with the visuals being optional). I initially started with 'they,' but I switched to 'he' because I decided to go with the safe choice of using the 'default' Dragonborn, if you know what I mean. Serana will be introduced in the next episode, and the next 'what if' I have planned will feature a female Dragonborn.
depends who you ask, off memory the world of tamirel is a infinite loop, and aluduin is what resets it? i could be completely wrong just depends on what and how much u get into lore.
That is not the problem with it being lore accurate, the problem is that if this was lore accurate, it would also look like returning to the past from the perspective of Alduin, Miraak and all dragons. For them it would be like for the Dragonborn as Dragons have a weird relationship with time and are made up of timeand can see all future and past with some exceptions, this would be the opposite of an exception and would remember "what once happened but has yet to happen" Dragons in TES are less winged fire breathing lizards and more biological time machines with reality warping language. If you travel back, the dragons are traveling back with you into their past shelves, even the ones you killed, which btw would totally shread the dovakiin to pieces as his soul shatters back into the dragon souls he absorbed.

@@henrikgustafsson6385 man Skyrim game is the ultimate escapism game out there. I still play everyday and just imagine all the time as if i am inside the game. Playing in survival mode to make the game more realistic and i start always as a vampire hunter and after killing Harkon i switch in the witch hunter roleplay to slay Miraak and only after that i kill Alduin.
All good, no AI, you're doing well
Skyrim speed run but make it lore accurate
Just be sure to include a spoiler alert in your reply that requires viewers to click 'read more.
This is amazing! Perfect around a winter fireplace close to the holidays
Awesome dude, just save your own analytics and make sure you don't upload till after Christmas, people engage the least with UA-cam at the holiday season! Happy whatever your winter celebration.
I appreciate feedback like this! You think uploading on the 20th would be a bad move?
@ValorousSkyrim not sure traveling, and all if this is your income, then I'd never say no. But hey, here people are engaging and enjoying your content.

My man such a Chad he doesn't need feet to jog a mile
That chillrend is gorgeous
I hope this continues. This is awesome.
Insane quality man, please keep i up. Would love to know what modlist your using as this looks incredible.
LoreRim 2.0! hold off until Christmas as they are releasing 3.0!
I made a few modifications, such as switching some combat animations, switched to Pi-Cho Enb, and removed the stagger effect to help make the combat more cinematic
Wonder if this rebirth of the Dragonborn is another one of Hermaeus Moras tricks or new schemes; or if it is Talos himself who has sent him back, to make things "right" - to save more lives than the first time?
you have earned my subscription. well done, brilliant storytelling
Dragonborn got a photographic memory
Gotta say looking forward to part 2 of this….
In all reality hed just be like "so if i never go to Helgen nothings going to happen? Lets do that then. This all seems a bit much for me"
great porject,i only wish to see in later part, dragon born have some thought about himself and Talos
Alright, Skyrim needs NG+
Haha this is fun, will look forward to the next parts. But I do have some questions, kinda a bit of devil’s advocate here:
.
1. That would be something you would figure out in later parts
I need to decide if this will become a LONG series or take some liberties with the time travel aspect of the video for simplicity's sake
I love input and questions like this!
Basically my 700+ new playthru
Dragonborn probably has the best claim to the throne at this point, taking after Tiber Septim and St. Alessia as conquering Dragonborn emperors
Yep, he does have a strong claim to the throne, so many possibilities! This dragonborn has tough choices, and they may not be the right one.
This was fuckin sick, good work choom
Dragonborn: The Regressor Edition
They would all be aware of any time travel and have the perspective as if they time traveled as well.
oh, didn't see this comment, I responded to one of your others!
This is pretty nice ^_^
can't wait for the rest.
im your 100th sub congrats just focus on making enjoyable content.
Great input! check my last comment a minute ago for information on the modlist!
what if the dragonborn was trapped and betrayed in dragonsreach for 1000 years?
hmmm, I'm not sure how long the TLD actually can live to be. Miraak was a special case due to him being stuck in Apocrypha, which isn't bound by the normal flow of time. perhaps in a scenario where the TLD was a vampire or received a Divine or Daedric boon. It's a good idea.
@ValorousSkyrim Dragonborn would unlock ultra instinct and low diff miraak
Good video. Look forward to more
This is a great retelling of skyrim!
Edit: I was curious, what is your load order? It makes your game look amazing.
Is there some more about chillrend I don't know about?
We are dragon born if there is something you don’t know you google it and you know
this is really cool!
This should’ve been 1 hour at least
That was my original plan, but it took me a whole day to finish the first 15 minutes (not including the actual writing part, that took much longer) Next part will be at least 30 minutes.
Ah, a canonical new game +
If Skyrim was regression manhwa
Lol, the Dragonborn was a regressor all along. Or maybe reincarnated from Japan with knowledge of their favorite game. 😂😂
That sword have stat leveling. So at the start of the game it do not have stun
Don’t look at it from a gameplay perspective. Regardless, I think it scales with level, meaning the Dragonborn would still get high scaling since they aren’t starting at level 1. But once again, there are no 'levels' or 'stats' in this.
Makes me wonder, why Chillrend? Why not Dragonbane or Windsheer?
The time it would take to acquire. It would have sent him in the opposite direction of Kynesgrove. While it’s hard to say exactly how much time he had before Alduin would appear, the trip wasn’t worth it for Dragonbane, especially considering that Chillrend was a very good alternative, given Alduin’s weakness to frost
If I may add my opinion, I think your story would have higher stakes if the Dragonborn had actually failed in the original timeline, and this was his second chance to make things right. Otherwise, the premise sort of feels like the groundhog day 🤔
Don't get me wrong, the story is neat, but I just wanted to share my thoughts as a feedback. Honestly, this would make for an awesome mod 👍
let's be honest, the only reason Harkon wasn't annihilated on the spot when we first encounter him is because he was protected by the code
EXACTLY! That’s why I said he doesn’t need a bow! We’re not letting game mechanics stop us from the truth!
@@ValorousSkyrim "your god is too weak to protect you, Harkon"

The unarmed combat, I am not sure. Whatever LoreRim comes with. I only added the 2 above to better represent the dragonborn's strength.
why not take down molag bal or hermaeus mora since he already known everything, lol
I'm confused, what part are you talking about? I don't recall mentioning anything about this yet.
Next episode please 😭😭
I’m working on it today! I’m aiming to have it ready by either Tuesday or Wednesday, though it might be sooner. However, I won’t make the mistake of giving an incorrect ETA this time! The next episode will be longer.
We NEED this mod list
Oh, sorry! I’m new to this UA-cam stuff and forgot to pin the message.
This is beautiful!
My opinion on the speaking Dragonborn:
Not for me.
MOREE PLEASSEEEE
This is pretty neat
Please use a normal voice instead of an AI 🙏🙏
Yes
This doesn't sound like ai?
Um hello if he woke up knowing dragonrend he would just destroy alduin right then and there and then go destroy harkon and mirak in seconds
Im sorry but where are his feet in this part? 1:51
Your guess is as good as mine!

i like how you're using mods, vanilla skyrim combat is just boring to look at. that being said, what poise mod do you use for your set up?
Sorry for the last response! I am using LoreRim, so I can’t say for certain what my mod setup is. I did turn off maxsuPoise, as it makes creating these cinematic fights a lot more difficult-one hit knocks you out of the attack animation. I still have Modern Stagger Lock on, but that’s all I see related to Poise.
spoiler AOT:
Eren jaeger ahh dragonborn
Why wouldn't he dragonrend Alduin at Helgen
You attempt to defeat Alduin with no armor, no accessories, no potions, and just a random iron sword you probably picked up off a dead guard! Plus, the Alduin in this story is far stronger than the one in the game.
@ValorousSkyrim no all of helgen is supposed to help like with every other dragon
10/10
You should really pick either they or he and stick to it, switching back and forth is just obnoxious.
YEP lol, I noticed that mistake and it is fixed! let me know if you notice anything else.
I understand why you went with he but what about all the dragonborns of the womanly persuasion?
My original plan was to create this mostly in the style of an audiobook (I still wrote it with this in mind, with the visuals being optional). I initially started with 'they,' but I switched to 'he' because I decided to go with the safe choice of using the 'default' Dragonborn, if you know what I mean. Serana will be introduced in the next episode, and the next 'what if' I have planned will feature a female Dragonborn.
@@ValorousSkyrim but hey, you still thought about the ambiguous gender route, some would not, that's already pretty legit.
Grow
The dragonborn knowing everything from the start would not be lore accurate
depends who you ask, off memory the world of tamirel is a infinite loop, and aluduin is what resets it? i could be completely wrong just depends on what and how much u get into lore.
its almost like its a "What If" scenario for a fun youtube video.
That is not the problem with it being lore accurate, the problem is that if this was lore accurate, it would also look like returning to the past from the perspective of Alduin, Miraak and all dragons. For them it would be like for the Dragonborn as Dragons have a weird relationship with time and are made up of timeand can see all future and past with some exceptions, this would be the opposite of an exception and would remember "what once happened but has yet to happen"
Dragons in TES are less winged fire breathing lizards and more biological time machines with reality warping language. If you travel back, the dragons are traveling back with you into their past shelves, even the ones you killed, which btw would totally shread the dovakiin to pieces as his soul shatters back into the dragon souls he absorbed.
