Visit Aldi next. Those of us who live IN the United States, far far away from Trader Joe’s and far far away from WF ( I.E. not near a college city and not near the East coast or West Coast) must shop at Walmart and Aldi. And so yes, Walmart does surprisingly carry increased variety of organic and whole food plant based options, for example organic Tofu, Bragg liquid aminos, Ezekiel Bread ( in freezer) organic flax seed and organic chia seeds. And, a good selection of dried & canned beans. Not to mention a sizable organic fresh produce section.
I need an Aldi. 😭
Bragg's is literally cheaply made soy sauce. You can get the same thing if you buy a 99 cent bottle of store brand soy sauce. It's literally the same thing. It tastes identical.
I agree. Aldi!
Avocado hack! Once ripe you can store them in water in your fridge and they’ll be good for another 2-3 weeks !
I shop at Walmart all the time. Would love for so more information on vegan beauty products, hair products and body wash.
Great tips, I shop at Walmart all the time. Would love to see you do one on aldis
Good show! I am a Walmart person. Excellent rundown and a big help to me. I highly recommend Walmart Supercenters as the places to go for the widest selection and more SKU's! It is generally well worth the longer drive to get to one of those!
I’m so glad you did this video because I always shop at Walmart
Thank you for this! This real life single momma needed this 😁
Thank you for doing WalMart - we don't have any fancy stores within 2 hours of us, so it is nice to have ideas for WalMart! :)
My whole family is obsessed with dried mango!!🥭
I’m salty about the unripe bananas sold everywhere too🤦♀️
You are adorable, Emmie!
Love sorghum! I have celiac disease so I’m all about the gluten free grains.
My jaw dropped when you said ppl don’t like oatmeal lol
I cannot buy dried mango anymore - it is indeed crack as you say 😆
I’d love to see a Whole Foods shop! Maybe even with healthy mummy or healthy dad :)
Thanks for sharing this great haul, xo💓
P.s. definitely cook the sorghum in a pressure cooker - otherwise it takes an eternity!!
I loathe oatmeal. Same here with the mango. I have a Costco bag and I’m trying to pretend I don’t. 😬
Haha 😆 oh my gosh, it’s my favorite meal/snack!!
I guess we all have our preferences💕
Thank you Thank you Thank you! Some of these I already shop but some were a surprise!
Great job Emmie.
Thank you so much for this! I never take the time to sift through all and appreciate you did the work for us!!
I am happy to do it if it helps make you a healthier and happier you! Thanks for watching💕💕💕💕💕
A fantastic grocery haul from Walmart. Will hopefully find alternative products in the UK. Love 🥰 the video and love 💞 Emmie.
Awesome and amazing thank you so much for all the information on plant base living for our health
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING ALL the Wal-Mart things us beginners can buy
Fantastic video!!! Thank you so much for all the info.
Target shopping spree please!
Great tips, thank you! Would be great to see your picks from Tesco's 😍
Great rundown, thanks!
I’m a NC girl and that Greensboro Whole Foods store is my bread and butter.😉I shop there weekly. But, sometimes I do hit up Food Lion or Harris Teeter. I’m not sure if you have either of those stores in your area, but if so, I’d love to see what you could find at either of those. Your videos are great! I always look forward to the days you post them.💗
Very helpful! Thanks so much!!!
thanks Emmie, I saved a list to my phone!
Thank you so much for this ! ❤
You're so welcome!
Thank you so much for this I thought I couldn’t get the frozen potatoes cause I was sure they probably all had oil without even looking thank you
i love mrs dash. use it all the time
That all looks legit good. As an Australian I'd love to visit Walmart.
Hey Emmie, love all of your videos and this one was extra helpful. Just wanted to give you a tip on the avocado conundrum... I'll buy avo's in bulk and let them sit on my counter. I'll check them everyday and when they're ripe they go in my "avo drawer" in my fridge. They'll last weeks at the perfect ripeness 😁
That’s such an awesome trip! When you defrost them how do they taste?
@@HealthyEmmie I've never tried putting them in the freezer. The fridge seems to slow the ripening process to a crawl so they stay ripe for a very long time just in the fridge.
That’s what I do too!
Hey there - from Greensboro, NC! Loved your video. I shop WM regularly, and can find almost everything I need in the produce section or the frozen produce section. On the off chance I can't find something I usually trot over the the Super G. Have you ever done a shop at Aldi or Lidl? They're very popular in North Carolina!
I like this video! You can freeze avocados if you add lemon juice and mash them a bit and freeze in ice cube trays and pop them into smoothies 😉
Thank you so much!
Please do a review for Aldi. You might not have one on the east coast. They are more of a Midwestern store. Thank you for all you do!
Hi thanks for the shopping tour which was helpful. Do you have any thoughts on GMO foods especially CORN products ?
I live in the uk
So would love a video on asda , Tesco , Sainsbury’s , Morrison’s please x
Hi Emmie! I never shop Wal-Mart but might now. I am curious of your opinion on buying organic.
I went through a phase of cooking sorghum with steel cut oats because they take the same amount of time - they are nice and chewy. I almost never shop at Walmart but now I'm a little tempted. I also have an Aldi's nearby - how about checking out that store? Maybe you already did - I haven't checked! Thanks for another motivating video.
Could you do a video of healthy snacks, either homemade, from trader joes, or whole foods? Thanks!
Will keep this in mind! 😊💕
Could you do a video on GMO’s and organic versus nonorganic? I always wrestle with those decisions.
Sprouts or Jimbos! Or the online Thrive market would be great :)
I have half a freezer full of those hash browns. I eat hashbrown and fat free refried bean burritos every morning.
* BTW Wal-Mart has canned Silver Floss sauerkraut, which has amazing flavor (cheaper, lasts longer) in cans where the canned beans are.
I would love to see what you can find at Save On! We have a Walmart and a Save On nearby but I find that Walmart has better prices than Save On!! But even though Save On is pricier they have items that Walmart doesn’t and on rare occasions they are cheaper than Walmart!!
I love Walmart !!
Please do a whole ass video about bread and carbs!!! We need more real information on it! Thanks so much!!!!!
💪😃
Oh I’ve got one! Search Bread on my channel and you’ll find it!
@@HealthyEmmie Oh! I had no idea!!! I will definitely check it out!!! Thanks Emmie!!☺️
I shop Walmart every Thursday like clockwork! I do very well shopping there on this lifestyle. I shop mostly in the produce section and a little bit in the middle (I have a large family) isles. You can make this life work no matter what store you go to. Idaho has cheaper potatoes though 😉. I’m always the crazy lady looking for the least brown(I meant green, I want brown) bananas and the soft avocados. Great video Emmie
Thanks for sharing!! 😊💕
@@HealthyEmmie also! Thank you for showing the store brand items so people know it’s ok to use the cheaper items.
I’ve seen interesting pricing at Wal-Mart too. A lower unit price for a smaller package? Weird. Always check unit pricing! I live in NC and buy groceries at Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, Food Lion, and Aldi and Wal-Mart.
nice tour
Hey from NC(Winston-Salem) !!
Thank you so much for watching! 🤗💕
We buy a bag of avocados; for 2 of us. We do not eat avocados daily. However, I buy them while they’re hard. As soon as they start to have a bit of give, when pressed, they go into the fridge. They last quite awhile after that. I’ve also heard avocados can be frozen, but we haven’t yet tried that.
I saw on Tik Tok to put avocados in a jar of water in the fridge and I can attest to the fact that they last for literally ever that way. We had them in the fridge for months and they were still good when we wanted one. Game changer!
Can you do Market basket next☺️
Walmart might be the best place to get food and cheap. Rice, beans, produce, they have it all. They have had these products for years maybe decades. It sounds like she’s never shopped at Walmart before☺️
I bought those hash browns so easy and yummy. 😊
I know!! 💋💕
Just get a rice cooker. Add salt, onion powder, and a slice of bell pepper. So flavorful!
Fred Meyer! Or Safeway please!
Mass resident here. (Southcoast). We don't have a TJs or Whole Foods near us (45 minute drive from Hyannis, Hingham/Hanover or RI). I shop at Market Basket. One near you? I do find many things there and am wondering what goodies you will uncover.
Where in NC did you go to college?? I live in NC!
I don’t like any of those pastas :( is the protein + from barilla ok?
Please do Woolworths and Coles in Australia 🇦🇺 🐨 xxxx
I’m one of those oatmeal haters, but sorghum is awesome!
I saw an increase in organic after Obama partnered with Walmart. BTW, I like the Chinese steamer from Amazon to bulk cook my veggies so I can make Healthy Mummies Buddha bowls.
Aldi's or Trader Joes next, please.
The 5 lb potatoes were russets and the 10 lb potatoes were white potatoes. That’s a different type. That’s why they were so much more.
Thanks for sharing! 😻❤️
The potatoes were differs varieties, thus the price difference. 💕
I think it would be cool if you did the farmers market
Have you tried looking at Aldi Grocery stores?
🧡
Can you please make a day in the life video?
Instead of maple syrup they also sell dates in the dried fruit area
Great tip!
Thank God the tortillas made the cut … it’s what I already use
I like to pop sorghum in my air popper
Love you beautiful literally queen just love seen your beautiful face love you love the videos ❤️
Costco please 😀
Sprouts plz
Are you not concerned about plastics in boil in bags or even your microwave steamer? Thanks!
I’m not💕💕💕💕
Aldi
Bread gets a bad (w)rap!🤣🤣 Sorry! It is bad for me I have coeliac disease😢
US groceries are cheap!
Triple threat
Thank you so much for watching! 🤗💕
When did ‘these ones’ enter the lexicon?? Horrible grammar.
Aldi
