Hey guys! If you want a shortcut to broccoli cheese soup....just steam broccoli to desired tenderness...add some to a blender with your cheese sauce....heat..and add some chunks of broccoli ...serve...yum!
I have wasted so many ingredients making (and throwing down the drain) vegan cheese sauce recipes so I was very reluctant to try again, but I had to have SOMETHING to choke down broccoli and cauliflower so I tried your recipe. You knocked this out of the park! I am in love and won’t EVER try another. Thank you for continuing to try and try again for the perfect answer to my cheese sauce dreams! Yay!
Michelle I am so glad to hear that. I often wonder why when I make someones recipe and people are raving about it in the comments that it isn't a hit with me. I really hate when that happens. Is it something with my taste buds? The altitude I live in? Why does that happen. So glad you liked this cheese sauce. Its not for everyone, but for a nut free sauce, its pretty good. Thanks so much for watching and commenting.
Same here. I don't know how many times I made a potato and carrot based sauce that I expected to taste like something different than mashed potatoes with carrots!
My son is allergic to nuts. Im so glad i subscribed and stimbled across this recipe! And so is he, he can finally enjoy "cheesy" dishes with us. Thank you so much!!!
Hello friends. Thanks so much for watching our new cheese sauce video. We absolutely love this cheese sauce and not only is it vegan, but its nut-free, soy-free, oil-free and absolutely delicious. It is all made in the blender so you are going to love how simple it is to make. Any blender should work fine. Try this at home and then leave a comment below on what you thought of it. Compared to all the other non-cashew cheese sauces out there, we feel that this one is hands down the best. Believe, me when I tell you, we have tried A LOT of home made vegan cheese sauce recipes without nuts. Most of them are not good enough for us. Let us know what you think. Here is the recipe. It is also in the video description too. Cheese Sauce Recipe: (makes 5 cups) In a blender, add the following ingredients: 1.5 cups of filtered water 1/2 cup of rolled oats 270g/ 1/2 head of medium sized of cauliflower (steamed for 6-8 minutes until soft) 1 whole roasted red pepper from jar (with the salt water brine, not oil) 1/2 cup - 1 cup nutritional yeast. (We use a full cup) 1 tsp smoked paprika 1/2 tsp white pepper 2 tsp garlic powder 2 tsp onion powder 1 tbsp white miso paste 2 tbsp tahini 2 tbsp lemon juice 1/2 cup unsweetened plant milk (we used ripple) Blend until smooth, about 2 minutes Pour and serve. Store in a glass container in fridge for up to 7 days
This may be a silly question but has anyone tried freezing this sauce? I live alone and not sure if I can finish this amount in a week and I would hate to waste :/
I didn't have some of the ingredients but it turned out great! I used black pepper instead of white, non smoked paprika, canned green chilies instead of red peppers, doubled the oats because I didn't have cauliflower, and omitted the Tahiti and plant milk.
This is really good. I left out the tahini because, as much as I have tried over the years, I cannot get past the bitterness. Other than that, I followed the instructions. I love this. I would definitely make it again. Thank you so much! 💖 🤗
Laura, all my plans of perfection for this video went right out the window. HA! But it is always fun working with Tim. Thanks so much for watching as always.
Nice one, totally agree Anja's Cooking With Plants was one of the first really good vegan cooking channels, and her recipes are all healthy. Enjoying your take on plant based cooking, funny and also healthy.
FANTASTIC!!!!!! I made it. Give it a sprinkle of chipotle powder to make it pop. Pour on anything, even in salad dressing (avocado, salsa and this sauce). I'd given up on all the other tasteless "cheese" sauces. Have to make extra because my SAD eating husband pours it on everything....calls it his lobster sauce. lol
Robin, the chipotle powder actually sounds like a great addition. I am going to try that next time I make it. So glad to hear that your husband likes it too. Here is how it goes with husbands. They eat our food, and then stand on the scale and twice as much weight as we do. It's not fair I tell ya. HA! Ok, maybe thats just at my house. Thanks so much for watching.
I used this to make scalloped potatoes. Mandolins potatoes, onion, jalapeños, herbs, paprika, and some minced garlic with some sauce. Baked in a small casserole dish for 60 minutes covered and 10 minutes uncovered at 400 degrees. Absolutely scrumptious. Tomorrow I will try thinning the sauce slightly with veg stock and adding frozen broccoli for broccoli cheddar soup mmm!!
I made this sauce this morning. It turned out really delicious. It is so much more economical than cashews both in cost and calories. Thanks to you PBD and Anja.
I’m going to trust you on this one and give it a try! You nailed the Mayo recipe when you clarified WHICH tofu to use and I’ve made it every week since. Thank you!
Dawn, let me know what you think. Its not cashew cheese, thats for sure, but its a great option if you are trying to eliminate all that fat. Thanks so much for watching.
I love this recipe!! I make it following everything, except I use roasted eggplant stuffed with garlic in place of the cauliflower and it is amazing!!!!
Made this tonight. Very yummy!! Trying to get back to eating well and returning to more food prep on weekends. This is possibly the best sauce I have made so far.
Just made this last night and it is is the best cheese sauce!! I have tried a lot but this is now my favorite. Very easy to make.. I love the fact I don’t have to soak any nuts (which I always forget to do).
I love Anja. She was one of the first vegan channels I watched too. I can't remember if I ever tried this but I will give it whirl. I do make Hannah's nacho cheese sauce all the time but I'm sure this would be a nice change.
Gentlemen, this is the best vegan cheese sauce ever!! Thank you so much for sharing. I was looking for a sauce that did not use cashews, this is the one! Wow!
Jan, I really love cashew cheese, but its just all fat, and I have a lot of fat left to lose. So, this cheese really does it for us. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Thanks so much for watching.
For all the Brits and others out there with Marmite, use it in place of the miso and it gives a nice sharp cheddar like flavor. Seriously, try it! Love this channel, so wholesome! Oh and if you’re out of the canned peppers use fresh, it works too.
HEY, does that neat trick work with Vegemite too for us Aussies?? PS.. Totally making this boys! LOVED your video. And ive been using the Recipe Goddess Anjas cheese sauce (untweaked) for years, so realllly looking forward to trying it with your additions : )
I’m not sure why it took me so long to make this. I watched this video months ago. I’m done with my cheese sauce trial and error. This is the ONE! Thank you!
Thank you so much for showing how to make this sauce. I've been trying a few and not liked them much. The last one was made mostly from potatoes and carrots and did not taste like cheese sauce at all. I did make a lovely one, but it had a lot of fat in. So much appreciate you guys taking the time to make these videos, they're so inspirational. Shell X
Great recipe, i just made it and it's good. I used regular paprika since I'm not into the smoke flavor. Also thank you to Anja for the original recipe. 👍
Hey from France, it's full of vegetables .... great recipe. I have all of them on hand so it will be a part of my lunch meal. MERCI d'avoir partagé, merci pour cette recette vraiment à base de "plantes".
Oh my goodness. I’ve been making so many this is the best by far! Just tried it today! Wow! I added more roasted red pepper! Fantastic flavor! Have never tried miso. It was fantastic! Soooo much better than with cashews!!! I am so thankful for this!
Carol, I am a HUGE Anja fan. Yes, it was good to see Tim in the video for me too. I hate filming at night, but he really wanted to tell everyone about this sauce, so I gave in and did a nighttime video. It is a nightmare to edit because of all the reflection in the window with the video equipment, but it allowed me to include Tim so I did it. Thanks so much for watching.
I love this sauce!! I needed a batch and I was out of cauliflower so I used steamed carrots instead!. Tasty but not as good as the original. I also discovered a great way to veg up Mac & Cheese is to pulse steamed broccoli in the food processor and mix in.
Hi Blake. Miso is just a salty mixture. You could totally add a little extra salt or yes, leave it out because the jarred peppers are in a salty bring. So glad you liked it. Thanks so much for watching.
There's a Forks Over Knives recipe I use that is oats, corn starch, nooch, salt, a little onion powder, and I add a bit of turmeric for color and health, and you add 2 cups of boiling water and blend on high for 5 minutes. I think actually their original recipe adds the peppers. No oil whatsoever. It's SO SMOOTH and so tasty! I started adding a tiny bit of lactic acid to give it that little cheddar-ish edge. I made it for the Superbowl and my family didn't know it wasn't cheese-whiz queso. One of the keys is that you blend up the oats and other dry stuff BEFORE you add the wet stuff for 30 seconds or so to make fine powder. Loved seeing this, I'm also a plant-based dad! Can't wait to watch more of your videos.
Jim I actually make the FON cheese sauce in the video I have with my birthday celebration with Nini Girl. She likes that cheese sauce a lot and she was coming over to my place so I made that one. I am not a fan of it, but she loves it. Thanks so much for watching.
Diedre, there are things I need to say before we start cooking in each video. We did 3 takes on that intro and each time Tim just jumped into the cheese sauce. So on that take, I just said a quick "like and subscribe" and let him tell you about the sauce right after that. Doing videos is very exciting for Tim as he loves to share things he learns with people. For me, its very managed, controlled, organized so it's a little different. But yes, he couldn't wait tell you all about this cheese sauce. Thanks so much for watching.
I really enjoy your videos. I had to smile when you commented about not getting "White Pepper." I shared that sentiment, figuring it was mostly snobby cooks who worried about specks of black in their white sauce. However, I recently bought every variety of peppercorn that Penzey's has and here is what they say about the white peppercorn. "White Peppercorns are regarded by many parts of the world as the finest flavored, most preferred pepper. White peppercorns start out the same as black peppercorns, but then are allowed to ripen more fully on the vine, to produce a very large berry with a looser outer shell. This black outer shell is then removed in one of two traditional ways: the Muntok peppercorns are soaked in water until the black shell loosens, while the Sarawak peppercorns are held under a constantly flowing stream of spring water, yielding a whiter color, and an extra clean product. Both white peppercorns have the traditional rich, winey, somewhat hot flavor that is nice used in soup, on grilled meat or poultry, in light-colored dishes or mixed with black peppercorns for a broader range of flavor. Many Asian dishes rely heavily on the flavor of white pepper, and it is preferred for cooking the foods of Southeast Asia, and Southern and Eastern Europe."
Your the BEST!!! Just made this and it is delicious.....ran upstairs for my daughter to try and she said”ummm,” I’m excited for dinner. Put in 1/2 C nooch and tried it, added another 1/4 C and liked it even better but decided to stop there. Thanks again!
I'm so glad you did this video. I like cashews but my family doesn't and there's so much fat in them. I had been working on tweaking Jill McKeever cheese sauce that uses oats and roasted red peppers in water. Mine is very close to this recipe! I will definitely try this one too! I'm vegan but omnivore family is coming around to eating healthier because of your tasty recipes. Thanks so much!!!!
Thanks so much for mentioning all that. I started off with an omnivore family too and Tim eventually came around to eating whatever I make. I did the Jill McKeever cheese sauce twice, and I know people love that cheese sauce, but to me, it tasted like cardboard, became too thick to use when you tried to reheat it, and was a nightmare to clean out of the blender. So the Oats in this one are just an accent to hold it together and not the base of the sauce. Its a much better option for us. Thanks so much for watching.
I’m really enjoying the energy that you two give off! I’m sold on the cheese sauce and I’ve just joined your fb page! You give me the feeling the it will be a safe place as I’m very new to this woe and didn’t like the feeling of another page that I had tried - I’m just learning to “crawl” Thank you 😘👌💞🙏🏼
It should be a safe place. If for some reason it is anything else, please don't hesitate to PM me on FB andIi'll make sure it gets resolved. Usually, it's an amazing group with lots of information to share. Thanks so much for watching.
Just made this sauce. AMAZING!!! I can’t wait to make some broccoli cheeze brown rice for lunch this week. Love your channel!! Keep them coming! You guys are the best! 😘
How come it took me so long to find your channel? I'm glad I did. We plant based Dad's need to stick together. I do like an oat-based cheese sauce for anything I am baking like Mac and Cheese. I like your variations. I'll defiantly try it out!
I finally decided to make this and it was delicious! Even my non-vegan family and friends like it!! It took me a while to find all of the ingredients (trips to a few stores), but once I had everything, it was very easy to make! Thanks for this one and all your other videos!! 🥰
Hi Lynn. We just make this without the tahini so it would work for a Marys Mini diet, and it was just as good. I added some extra spice and some of the brine from the jar with the peppers, but man, I didn't miss the tahini at all. Thanks so much for watching. We appreciate your support of the show.
That is one delicious vegan cheese sauce you both definitely nailed this recipe I can imagine the flavor with all those amazing spices along with that steamed cauliflower. But I think you’re number one key ingredient to give it that cheesy flavor is that one cup of nutritional yeast.
Okay you two kill me . Laughing so hard . Don’t change what or how your videos are made . So funny and great recipes . Lmao omg seriously literally lol . Totally gonna go watch baking with Tim now too . Bake challenge yay .
Hi Kira. Thanks so much. Yes, it is just 1/2 cup of oats. I corrected it in the description below the video. Yes Tim was invited to a baking challenge while we were filming. This kind of thing happens all the time. I was about to cut all that out and I thought it would be great for the world to see what people text us about. So bizarre. Thanks so much for watching.
OMG! I am making this, love there are no nuts, and I have every ingredient, can’t wait. A BIG thank you ❤️ Your channel is my favorite, and you guys crack me up😀 I’m going to try the Ripple
Thanks for this. As a school teacher, I can’t have any nuts in any form at school because of a child with an extreme nut allergy (except for almonds and peanuts). I really like the cheese sauce recipe with cashews but this recipe will allow me to have more options for school lunches.
this was a pretty good sauce! thank you for sharing. I too have tried many many recipes, this one was great, leftovers heated well and it didn't change after it had been refrigerated
Dana, I felt the same way. All the potato based sauces were horrible. The cashew sauces are amazing but full of fat. So, this was a really good compromise to me. Thanks so much for watching.
Wow! First time here, and i have to say, yessssss!!! I love it! So cool to see two DADS in the kitchen and cooking plant based. I love to see two chilled guys✌️👍 I have to show you to my husband!
Aww thanks so much for that. Usually it just me in the kitchen, as Tim has a real job with real responsibilities and a real income, Ha!! But when he is available, we like to work together in the kitchen. Of course, Im the one with all the rules and he is the one that lives free and whatever works out is fine. Totally opposites. HA! Thanks so much for watching. -Joey
I love those roasted peppers but never find enough recipes to use them in! my last jar actually stayed in the fridge so long it went moldy. i've been thinking i need to bulk up my regular nooch sauce so this is gonna be perfect for me!
Lisa!! Good to see you. We go through lots of jars of peppers because we add them to our cashew cheese sauce as well as this cheese sauce. I make a separate cashew cheese sauce for my son every week because he grew up on it and refuses to switch. So we always need red peppers. I hope all is well with you. Still want to see you when go to LA when Covid is finally over. Stay well friend! Thanks so much for watching.
I just love you guys. You are so funny and cute together. I cannot wait to go to the store and get the ingredients for this cheese sauce. Like you all, I have made so made weird cheese sauces that were supposed to be great. I can’t have nuts because of the fat, so this will be my go-to recipe. Last night I got hungry about 9 PM. I poured 1/2 of a can of rinsed and drained chickpeas in a bowl. My husband chopped up some onion and jalapeños from the garden and we put some of them in with the chickpeas. He then heated the bowl of chickpeas in the Micro. The last ingredient was BBQ sauce. I just coated them well and stirred it all up. It was so good, I ate the rest of the can in the same fashion. You may think that is really weird, but it was fast, legal and a great tasting snack. Sometimes you need fast. Thank you for this video and I am looking forward to many others.
You two are so cute! Love men in the kitchen. Loved the sauce... Folks don't be afraid to tweak to your liking... I added more salt, lemon, & red pepper...yummers!
Debbie, I really like the cashew one much better, but of course that is full of fat. So this is my second choice for sure. I have really come to like this one. Thanks so much for watching.
this was a fun video and I cant wait to try this. I have also tried all the potato and carrot "cheese" sauces.. that taste like potatoes and carrot and many others that were gloopy and overly rich etc. hope this one is as good as it looks.
Hi Victoria. I love this one so much better than those potato ones. They just have a horrible after tasted. To me, this doesn't have that. Thanks so much for watching.
Out of the blender, it was perfect! After it sat in the fridge for an hour, it smelled so strongly of cauliflower, we just couldn't. I'll sub potatoes or white beans for the cauli!
It has a cauliflower smell for sure. I prefer the cashew cheese sauce. That is our go to sauce and it never fails. Ill take the calories in that one any day
Wow! I just made this and am in love! I've tried so many recipes out there and this is my favorite for sure! I might try to make it a little thicker for different uses (like the thinner version too). Next, on to mayo. Thank you!!!!!!
Kathy, you can pour it into a pot and heat it for a few minutes while stirring to make it thicker also. We used it just the way it is as it does thicken in the fridge. Thanks so much for watching.
Emmy, awww thanks so much. I love when Tim is available to do videos. You will notice we did this one at night. I never, ever do videos at night. You can see the equipment in the window reflection, the lighting isn't natural and there are so many things I don't want to deal with as the video editor because its a nighttime shoot. But, its when Tim is available so I gave I and did this one at night just so we could do that together. I am so glad it is so well received.
I'm new to the vegan community, on my 5th week! Love watching you both and the straight forward, uncomplicated recipes you present. I've made the potato and carrot sauce and found it less than appealing! And the cashew sauce is better, but I'm really trying to avoid all that fat! So this sauce looks like a great option! I am the only vegan in my home and find that I waste a lot of the cheese sauce every week. I've heard that you can freeze it, have you ever tried freezing yours? I'd hate to ruin a good batch if freezing will degrade the taste or give it a funky texture..
Wendy, I have not tried to freeze this. You can maybe make half that batch if you half the recipe. It will last about a week in the fridge. Thanks so much for watching.
Thx for recipe and demo you guys. I’m going to give it a go. For me sauces are almost a cornerstone in my diet. You can combine so many things that it makes eating WFPB fun, quick and easy. One thing I might try with those peppers is that with the unnamed recipe that uses peppers and oats, she would the equivalent of half a jar (8oz), with the amount you finished with. I’ve made her recipe for a long time and is one of my favs. This will be interesting. Stay tuned. I have a fresh batch of the other sauce I have to go through, so it could be a week or so before a response. Thx again.
Made the cheese sauce yesterday it is quite good. It has a better consistentcy than a potato carrot based sauce. It makes almost a litre too. Thanks love your videos!
Hi from Texas! I’m new to your channel 🌞. I made this cheese sauce tonight and it’s pretty amazing, the best out about 5 vegan quesos I’ve made. Thank you for sharing this recipe!
So glad you liked it. I have been making it without the tahini or plant milk lately and using a little less water and it tastes just as good. Thanks so much for watching.
I watched this video on my tv this morning and I am going to make this cheese sauce when the one I made last week is finished. I am looking forward to trying it! The only thing I may add is cumin. I love my cumin!
I just made this sauce. It needed less white pepper and more salt. I added 1 and half tablespoons of tamari to replace salt and added an extra red pepper. It was then delicious.
Julie, I would love to do more video with Tim, but he is always working. And when he is not working, his work friends are challenging him to baking competitions. HA! Thanks so much for watching.
Ouch dissing the cheese with the blender and oats and the one with the carrot and potatoes. Lol I’m Interetested to see the new cheese sauce . Poor Tim -we know he doesn’t like to follow directions- “ we are going to measure because we know that works- “ One cup of nute (nutritional yeast ) sounds like you are making a witches brew. I love seeing you guys together. White pepper tastes hotter than black but is less complex, with fewer flavor notes. The best more white peppercorns are montuk. I use white pepper in light-colored dishes for aesthetic reasons like white sauces or this cheese sauce you are making. 9:44 the viscosity looks good. It’s true no cooking on the stove - it’s a good no cook cheese sauce with very little fat per tablespoon. Nice job y’all! 👍

Gents. I make this sauce all the time. One change was to sub white beans for the cauliflower. Works great too!
How much of white beans?
@@bobmcdonald1892 Hey bob. I use between 2/3 to one can of white beans.

I’m too broke to buy cashews all the time so this is awesome!
Yeah, cashews are crazy expensive for sure. Thanks so much for watching.
Yep.
Exactly!
I hope things have gotten better for you, financially!🥜🌰💰
Maybe sunflower seeds would work. I use a cheesy sauce recipe sometimes us sunflower seed based.

Anja is A-Mazing. She was like one of the first vegan people I followed about 5 years ago. Thanks so much for watching.
I usually make a potato, carrot and cashew sauce (which I love). But I will try this! Cant hurt to have another option. Thanks.
This is my absolute favorite Vegan Cheese Sauce!!! And I've tried them all!!! THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH. I LOVE it, it's addictive!
Hey from France, it's full of vegetables .... great recipe. I have all of them on hand so it will be a part of my lunch meal. MERCI d'avoir partagé, merci pour cette recette vraiment à base de "plantes".
Thanks so much for watching.
Oh my goodness. I’ve been making so many this is the best by far! Just tried it today! Wow! I added more roasted red pepper! Fantastic flavor! Have never tried miso. It was fantastic! Soooo much better than with cashews!!! I am so thankful for this!
So glad to hear it. Its a nice alternative to the cashew cheese. Thanks so much for watching.
Going to try this one, I like Anja’s channel too! Good to see Tim 😉
I made this sauce and put it over cooked spinach. Delicious!!
Love this! Thanks for the recipe! Glad I found your channel
The grocery store was out of miso so I just made it with out and it was awesome!
Hi Blake. Miso is just a salty mixture. You could totally add a little extra salt or yes, leave it out because the jarred peppers are in a salty bring. So glad you liked it. Thanks so much for watching.
This is good to know since I'm allergic to soy. I'll have to give it a try then.
Wow, you guys really made a great one with this sauce...I'm so excited that TIM is so EXCITED too. Cheese sauce is a way of LIFE!!! Thanks😘👌
I had no idea there was that much thought put into white pepper. That is amazing. I LOVE Penzey's! Thanks so much for watching.
BEST tasting vegan cheese sauce! Thank you Anya and Plant based Dads.
Your the BEST!!! Just made this and it is delicious.....ran upstairs for my daughter to try and she said”ummm,” I’m excited for dinner. Put in 1/2 C nooch and tried it, added another 1/4 C and liked it even better but decided to stop there. Thanks again!
Judith, anytime we can get the kiddos to eat our healthy food, its a win, baby! I am right there with you with my 14yr old son.
Thanks so much for watching.
another awesome job!
Keep inspiring me and everyone else out there to stay on the right path!
Thanks Jason. You totally rock!! Best to you and the wife! Thanks so much for watching.
Will definitely be trying this recipe. Thanks for sharing it!
Hope you enjoy. Thanks so much for watching.
I made this over the weekend. It's AWESOME.
Great to hear! Thanks so much for watching.
You guys are awesome! Thanks for all the great recipes.
I’m really enjoying the energy that you two give off! I’m sold on the cheese sauce and I’ve just joined your fb page! You give me the feeling the it will be a safe place as I’m very new to this woe and didn’t like the feeling of another page that I had tried - I’m just learning to “crawl”
Thank you 😘👌💞🙏🏼
It should be a safe place. If for some reason it is anything else, please don't hesitate to PM me on FB andIi'll make sure it gets resolved. Usually, it's an amazing group with lots of information to share. Thanks so much for watching.
Love Anya too...great video! You guys are great!
She was the first vegan UA-cam I had ever seen like 5 years ago. She is amazing.
Thanks so much for commenting. Yes, we do all need to stick together. The movement is much stronger with all of us. Thanks so much for watching.
Bravo!! Love it!! Thank you for sharing
That is one delicious vegan cheese sauce you both definitely nailed this recipe I can imagine the flavor with all those amazing spices along with that steamed cauliflower. But I think you’re number one key ingredient to give it that cheesy flavor is that one cup of nutritional yeast.
I agree with the Nutritional Yeast. Thanks so much for watching.
Just made your cheese sauce. OMG it’s so good. Not using it until tomorrow. Should taste even better. Thank you
I also bought ripple milk. Thumbs up
Hope you enjoy. Thanks so much for watching.
Thanks for this!! Sometimes, I don’t want my sauces to be so highly caloric, like the nut ones. That way I can eat more starch!!!
That's the best plant based cheese sauce recipe yet!!
A BIG thank you ❤️
Your channel is my favorite, and you guys crack me up😀
I’m going to try the Ripple
You are so welcome! Thanks so much for watching
Thanks for this. As a school teacher, I can’t have any nuts in any form at school because of a child with an extreme nut allergy (except for almonds and peanuts). I really like the cheese sauce recipe with cashews but this recipe will allow me to have more options for school lunches.
My son has a peanut allergy so I hear you on this for sure. Thanks so much for watching Dorothy.
Hey, i'm a dad and went PlantBasedVegan in 2016. Glad to find others like me.... Great video.
Love watching you, Joey. The cheese sauce is really good, thank you. Keep the recipes and being real coming.
Julie, this one was a lot of fun to make. Tim always shakes things up when we cook together. Thanks so much for watching.
Yum a must try this week. Thanks
Looks amazing! Just found your channel!! Great content 😊
this was a pretty good sauce! thank you for sharing.
I just made this for a late breakfast. So good!
Bravo guys ... enjoyed by all. Thanks for posting.
Hi Stephanie. Yes, I agree, use this as a base and add more of whatever you like. Thanks so much for watching.
Can’t wait to try this ! Thanks for sharing
Hope you like it! Let me know how it turns out. Thanks so much for watching.
This is my favorite cheese sauce !!!! Thanks!!
Debbie, I really like the cashew one much better, but of course that is full of fat. So this is my second choice for sure. I have really come to like this one. Thanks so much for watching.
PB2 cashew powder is just cashews and works awesome in these sauces!!! Looking forward to trying this one!
This is such a good recipe. Made it today and we love it ! Thank you so much.
So glad!
this was a fun video and I cant wait to try this.
Just saw this recipe and tried it. It's soooo good. Easy to make and better then others I have tried and tossed. Thanks.
Ill take the calories in that one any day
This sounds exciting, will try this, thanks both xx
Elizabeth, it was a lot of fun to make and we have been eating it for about 3-4 weeks now. Thanks so much for watching.
@@PlantBasedDads Thanks for the tip. And mine got thicker in fridge too. Making another batch right now!
Looks delicious! btw Italian here, and I agree onion powder & garlic powder belong together! 💗🧅🧄
I'll definitely be trying this! Thank you so much.
Crystal, it is a really good option for low fat cheese sauce. Thanks so much for watching.
Hahhaa the intro is hilarious!! Love the sauce! Absolutely delicious, thank you!!
I love you guys! So entertaining ♥️
Can’t wait to try the sauce!
Else, I think you will really like it. Thanks so much for always supporting the show.
I made the recipe today. Love it. I just used a $10 immersion blender. Will remake.
Sounds great!
You guys are so watchable. Great recipe, I hope your channel continues to grow.
Awww. Thanks so much. Thanks so much for watching.
You two are the greatest!
Can't wait to try this cheese sauce. Oh and Ripple is my favorite milk too. It does have b12 as well.
Thx again.
Hi Larry. Let me know what you think of the cheese sauce. Thanks so much for watching.
Looks great will try for sure. You both are great love to see your videos keep it up!
Sandra, thanks so much. I have a lot of fun filming videos with Tim. Thanks so much for watching.
Made the cheese sauce yesterday it is quite good. It has a better consistentcy than a potato carrot based sauce. It makes almost a litre too. Thanks love your videos!
OMG...."don't get Tim started" LMAO..... his laugh is so infectious hahaha!! 🤣🤣😭😭 Great recipe guys!! Much love from Melbourne Australia 🖤💕😘
Thank you! Looks amazing! Been looking for something that doesn't require expensive cashews! Thank you again!
Hope you enjoy. Thanks so much for watching.
I watched this video on my tv this morning and I am going to make this cheese sauce when the one I made last week is finished. I am looking forward to trying it! The only thing I may add is cumin. I love my cumin!
1st time on your channel and was so impressed guys……I have just subscribed👍🤩
I just made this sauce. It needed less white pepper and more salt. I added 1 and half tablespoons of tamari to replace salt and added an extra red pepper. It was then delicious.
You guys are great! I'm surely going to try this cheese sauce recipe! You two should do more viedos together!😁
Julie, I would love to do more video with Tim, but he is always working. And when he is not working, his work friends are challenging him to baking competitions. HA! Thanks so much for watching.
Ouch dissing the cheese with the blender and oats and the one with the carrot and potatoes. Lol
I’m Interetested to see the new cheese sauce .
Poor Tim -we know he doesn’t like to follow directions- “ we are going to measure because we know that works- “
One cup of nute (nutritional yeast ) sounds like you are making a witches brew.
Ha ha, newt!! Yes, I remember catching those when I was a kid! I believe Joey was referring to "nooch" for the nutritional yeast. 😊
@@pda2836 lol I could not hear well in the video- I see now I just re saw it. Lol
It DOES sound like a witches brew! Thanks so much for watching.
