    Thank you for this recipe. I added oregano, regular mustard, seasoning peppers, West Indian hot sauce, garlic powder as well. I would usually add to regular mac and cheese. The family was AMAZED even the kids although one has a nut allergy so he got regular mac and cheese ... It tasted just like cheese sauce. Being healthier just got so much easier! Thank you soooooo much.

    this is a great recipe. it is quick to make simple and delicious. I added it to some left . over vegan no chicken pot pie mix made with soy curls and potatoes and other vegetables. Put in a pyrex 8x 8. covered it with some puff pastry and heated it in the oven. Great meal . I have to say i love all your recipes and enjoy watching you show . I wish you the best you are certainly special!!!!!

    When I first made this a few days ago I wasn’t thrilled with the taste. But now, four days later, the flavor profile has changed dramatically for the good. Now the taste is really remarkable. So yummy with fresh baked bread. Thanks Anja!
    p.s. I used white wine instead of water or vegetable broth to deglaze.

    Love your unique recipes Anja... I was playing around in the kitchen the other day and made a big batch of Soy Beans. Soaked overnight then Cooked in the Ipotfor 20 mins.. all that for soy milk. I use what I need then put the rest in the fridge for whatever like creamy soup or more milk. .. then I thought I'd bkending some for making a creamy sauce and I used a bit for small batch Cheese... totally worked. Needed lots of flavor to cover a slight bean taste. But we had it on nachos tonight and was delish.. I got all those ideas. From watching you here onYT.. thanks so much for being an inspiration to eat healthier..

    • @cookingwithplants
      @cookingwithplants  4 роки тому +4

      High fat, not oil. Yes, that is why it is made with vegetables added also. And to serve, I would use it more as a condiment with lots of sweet potato and more salad and vegetables. It depends if you are over-weight, under-weight, have heart issues etc as to how much you can eat.

    • @TheW8N4JC

      No oil, just good fats, nothing wrong with any nuts as long as nobody is allergic to them of course 😁
