You're a legend man, in the process of getting a Komodo here in South Africa.
These most definitely helped the process!
No idea if it's possible, but I'd kill for a focal reducer/variable ND hybrid. Full frame image and the ability to ditch the matte box would be pretty mind blowing.
This video serie is incredible.
Personnaly using native RF glasses for less concerns and control ring abilities !

While it is true that the Canon drop-in variable nd filter does not go down to 0 stops, Canon does make a clear drop-in filter as do Breakthrough and Kolari Vision.

Nice video! I get the tilta PL mount with the tilta cage and it's a really good option too. No play and lens support ;)
NDs should have been built into the Komodo, like they are standard on Arri, C300/500, bmpcc 6k pro and probably pretty much every entry level cine camera to be released.

Have you tried autofocus with Sony e-mount lenses using a adapter?
How does the 8sinn evolution deal with reflections vs the metabones ? Also 8sinn makes a cage that has support for the canon speedbooster and the pl to rf mount so you can change much faster during a project . I have have sigma cine lenses and ef sigma art series at different lengths I can use both art and cine to match if needed. And just swap mount supports much faster with 8sinn right ?
Can you review the eos RF to B4 adapter that is offered on your CVP webpage? It is made by UK firm (MTF); but no image of adapter is shown.

Does the autofocus works well with the Canon mount adapter with ND filter?
The Vocas PL - RF adapter looks really tight when you put it on in this video. The only review of it on B&H says theirs was so tight they had to cut it off. Is it as bad as all that? Would you recommend others over it?
If the metabones pl adapter deals with reflections better why did you rank the Kippertie 1?
I recently bought the bright tangerine and Metabones RF-to-PL Lens Adapter, but when I go to place the pl mount it doesn't seat In all the way. Looking at it seems like a gap like the speedbooster isn't long enough to seat with the support adapter. Any ideas
I have the Komodo with the Metabones PL to RF 0.71x Speedbooster and the DZO Vespid 21 & 40. I can't get anywhere near infinity focus, is this a problem with the lenses and/or adapter, or does that combo definitely require shims?

Which has better image quality and easier to use, the black magic 12k ursa mini or the red komodo? Which would you buy?
Both have really good image quality! I think what you should consider more is which operationally you prefer. Are you able to get your hands on them both? We have both available for demo if you’re UK or Belgium based! Jake

Dzo makes a pl mount what do you think of the dzo vs the metabones pl mount adapter ?

As for the canon .71 focal reducer ....It just feels good owning it knowing you have the full frame look . Its worth it for how much stress is reduces with limitations you had before it . Lol . in sunlight it has some ghosting but just dnt shoot into sun Or some lighting situations or take of the adapter for those situations . There are always pros and cons but full frame and better low light it feels good . You'll just look at it and be amazed by it .
Can a speedbooster for Komodo work with any cine zoom lens?

I think its good. Uses a good optic, has good internal matting and the ability to be locked down. Jake
@@CVPTV will the metabones pl to rf speedbooster work with full frame sigma cinema lenses ? Or should I adapt the pl mount on sigma cine lenses to "ef" and use sigma cine lenses on the canon rf Ef speedbooster instead ?
@@creativegreats6924 I haven't used that exact common in a while. But from what I can remember the back elements of the Sigmas shouldn't hit the optic in the PL SB like some other lenses do so you should be fine. Jake
@@CVPTV the sigmas pl mount do have a black part at the end that the Zeiss cp2 and cp3 dont have so I hope the sigma back elements do not touch the optics of the metabones pl to rf speedbooster
