Just bought this bow a few months ago put a trophy ridge fix 5 sight..sync drop away rest and the hitman front & back bar,I haven’t shot a bow in many years but I’m loving this bow 😉

I just got me one !! And I love it and I got a White Tail Legend Pro !! And I love it too !! They are good bows !! I enjoy shooting them and I am going to hunt with them this year !! Which is coming up real soon !!!

I swapped strings and cables out for some ABB’s and added some monkey tails. Seemed to quite it down quite a bit. String stop needed to be adjusted a little too. Great review!
Great review like always brother. I think this is a great bow to get people into the sport and into pro shops. To let people know that pro shops are there to help you. Good ones. There are some dont give a shit shops just do not go there.being in Archery for so long. I have a bow press. I love to work on my own bows and my friends bows.
I bought this bow due to a shoulder injury. The adjustability allowed me to work into shooting a bow again. I honestly learned to love this bow. I chose to take this bow in the field this year. It held well for me and I shot it really well. The biggest negative was the hand shock but I was able to add some dampeners to help with that. Great bow in my opinion
Bear makes a great budget friendly bow.

Just discovered the channel, looking into purchasing my first bow. The thoroughness and insight is exactly what I needed and enjoy, keep it up, I do not think there is a channel of the sort that compares.
I will say though, that decibel reading is the arrow impacting the target and not the bow releasing.

So what we do is open the garage and set the bag outside, which is about 15 yards away, all the reading I have got weather the bag be 20 yards away or even 30 reading stay the same so I am going with it, also tried several diff bags and blocks to see if the reading changed and at that range it was the same, I was concerned of the same thing when I started adding the Decibel reading in there

I just ordered the Bear Whitetail Maxx (bow only) from my dealer. I can't wait to get it in and test it against my "premium" Bowtech Solution SS, and my 13-year-old Bowtech Destroyer 350 (upgraded to 65# Barnsdale limbs) bows. I'm probably going to set up the Bear for hunting in rainy weather.

This is the first archery review channel I subscribed. I feel your review provide a lot of informations for people like me being choosing a bow to buy. Just a little advice to your review that if you can control the video length to 15- 20 mins with similar informations provided I believe you’ll get more viewers.

Noooo! @Backyard Bows Please don't do it! I don't want a video that only states pros, cons and ends. I like to hear all your thoughts about a product and more in depth infos. People who can't cope with that can always jump to the verdict at the end. Otherwise you could only record shorts. 😅 But that's not why I like your chanel. It always annoys me when people cut the content to 10 - 15 minutes because others can't concentrate more than that. I'd say do your reviews like always and in the style you are comfort with.

I noticed in this review and average Jack's review there is a mentioned rattling noise when the bow is shot, my legend xr also had that rattle and not long after it started clicking about 3/4 of the way through the draw. I sent it back to bear for repair bcs my shop couldn't figure out what the problems was but I'm pretty sure it was a bad bearing, I'm hoping it will be alittle quieter when it comes back from them.
I learned on the cheapest of cheap, a bear rant for $300 RTH, I bought myself a Mathew’s v3x 33 just a few months ago. I’m partial to bear just because that’s what I learned in but man I do love my Mathews

I bought one of these and I was surprised how much of a twang sound there was the same sound I hear on your review. I replaced the original bear limb dampeners with some from Amazon. You wouldn't believe the difference in sound!
You can definitely tinker with sound people just buy a bow and settle with what comes out the box usually
So what would you recommend as the best beginner bow brand and model??
Hi Brandon - I ran into you at hockey game a couple months ago and mentioned that I bought the Bowtech SR 350 which is a great bow. Was wondering if you kept the one you reviewed and will be interested in your thoughts on the SS34 compared to the SR350. And your setup of a stabilizer on the SR350 if you kept it.

Appreciate the love you showed 🙏 and wish I was able to keep the sr350 but I ended selling like I do most to get more bows in for review, if I kept it I would put a shrewd on it and the comfort side of that mod is actually similar to the ss34

It's the same bow as the alaskan which I believe he did. Pretty good bang for the buck bow imho.

Your reviews are always good but I think all the adjustable bows should be tried out at different draw weights. Vast majority of people purchasing these types of bows would not be shooting at maximum draw weight straight away.
Good suggestion maybe next one will tinker with draw weight in the speed test
Reviews are GOOD!! Only has so much time to produce a great "Product Review" video.
If interested, go to your bow dealer and have a bow adjusted & setup to your particular liking.

90% of the Bowmen I met, claim the bow they learned on as a child was a Bear. Out of the remaining 10%..., 7% said they learned on a Genesis , last 3% were fortunate to have financials to be choosy at their own expense. Awesome review man! Keep 'em coming , P.s your comment @ 23:53 . From My experience patience and discipline are crucial ,waiting for the right time greatly increase my tag being filled quickly and ethically. Speed doesn't correct bad form / shot placement. Granted my shots at whitetail are from a tree and less than 25 yds, On 3d course & at longer distances speed & trajectory it does.
Agree shot iq is much more important than speed

First of all love youre channel new subscriber 👌 do you think the legend xr is a good beginner bow? For target and 3d. Whant this as my first bow. New shooter from the Netherlands. Think whem buying i upgrade the stabelisor and the sight. Love the looks of the bow but very new on archary.
Yes I do great to be able to adjust draw weight, as a beginner I would recommend starting at less weight and building up

Isn’t the decibel sound reading detecting the impact not the release?
We have switched up the decibel reading quite a bit since this review check out some of our newest reviews and see the diff

You ought to see how quiet you could actually make it

Just try different tricks that people try to make it quiet. Adding limb silencers or brace silencers. I know your testing quality as it comes but it would be interesting to see if you could take a budget bow that's kinda noisy and see if you could make it on par with a flagship bow
