Thanks for the great reviews! I used to write off Bear bows too, not sure why. They are really making a great bow now a days.
Solid review. I have the whitetail maxx and it’s a shooter for sure!
An AR QD sling fits in the holes on the limb pocket. Neat little feature.
Bra, your reviews are solid 👌
No way i could afford this beauty on a retired budget. Archery businesses have left the working man home alone. I have to buy Chinese or used to get back in the field now that i have time but no big money. Everything is balance too bad for us.
Nice review as always
Thanks WC
Great Review, I am loving mine. Super smooth and fits my size a little better than the Execute 32 did, maybe trick out the Execute for target and leave the Persist as a hunting bow.
Awesome review thanks for the info liking the bear products 🙏🏽
Definitely intrigued
Nice bow!!! Bear is 22:48 knocking it off the table with cost and performance keep the reviews coming Brandon and Go Cardinals.
great review man they make a great bow you sure wont out shoot one. my sons bear Kuma is a killer shooting bow and super fast but his is only 60# I hunt with 82 pounds but if my shoulder went south or if one of the 16 bows I have go south I would set it up to me and hunt with it..
I love the EKO cams on my Whitetail Maxx. It's one of the easiest drawing cams with a rock solid backwall. And, I finally got my hands on the Paw grip, and that is an absolutely amazing grip for me. No more frozen fingers shooting in the cold.
Great unbiased review as always my shop I go to he’s a bear dealer but won’t keep at least one or 2 stocked and when he asks just shuts you down I drive an hour and a half outta my way to see this guy and he said you don’t know bows just because I said in today’s economy I’m surprised you don’t sell more or the cheaper more value bear bows like man I’ve been doing this since I was like 10 just kind of a slap in the face as a customer
Great review as always! Love the honesty about overlooking bear in the past lol . I have shot bear for years and have been extremely satisfied. Have you had any issues with cam lean out of the box? Just curious.
Hey brother thanks for the content! That being said I bought an Alaskan XT a month ago. With kids and what not it maxed out my budget. I just bought the bare bow and my buddies donated stuff, i bought a cheap site of Amazon just so I can shoot. Adjusted the bow best I can at home since getting to the shop is a chore, I live rurally(I'm in WY, I think the whole place is rural) and its a good distance away. Bow is shooting horrible right now, I know a part of that is me. But I can't get a bullet hole through paper no matter what I try. Mind youeveryting I know about bow tuning I learned on UA-cam. So when I finally had time I went to the local shop to get my bow tuned which should be free since I bought the bow there and they do the first tune for free. Well he wouldn't tune my bow unless I dropped another $200 on a site, which I just didn't have then (please don't judge). He wouldn't even help me confirm the peep was in the right location. So at this point I don't even want to give them any of my business. Is there a shop you can recommend anywhere in the US since I have to ship now that will tune a bow? My 2024 goal is to get an Antelope with my bow....but I need a working bow.
Better Outdoors Archery in Arkansas are Bear specialist, as is The ArcheryShack in SC
Your Alaskan is mostly just out of time. Bear does a crap job of timing them before shipping and the Dual hybrid cam bows can be a pain to tune if you're knew to it.
Also the lower cam on mine was way off to the side. I talked to Lancaster archery and they said they always have to shim them back to center. Just something to look for.
@@kevinarmstrong7469 I notice that too on my lower cam.
@@scottdavis2133 Thanks for the recommendation brother! I will give them a call.
Awesome review as always!. Definitely a sweet flagship from bear, I gotta say though the specs on the Alaskan XT looks more appealing to me especially at the price point. It looks like they hitting a grand slam with that bow this year, I mean what other bow on the market today will shot & perform with all the other big name brand flagship for 550$
I’m most excited for that one that’s why I’m saving for last
I’m a newbie, I’m thinking of buying a Mathew’s but that Alaskan is catching my eye. The persist is looking nice but heavy I don’t know. I just bought the Bear adapt plus I’m learning with that then I’ll buy the other bow. Thanks again. 🙏🏽
Bear Alaskan xt or darton consequence, which would you choose?
@@westleytaylor5622 without spoiling anything to much Alaskan for me but it suits my draw length better
The give away bow if we win it will we be able to get it in a left handed bow
Please do a video on the Booster inspire 32 rts
Any plans on reviewing the new bear paradigm?
If there was 80 lb option I would consider it
That's a great question. I'm shooting a Persist now, I am limited on draw length at 28.5" but I could go up in poundage to get more speed. Currently 430gr @ 290fps at 28.5"/70lbs
Hey do you think you can do a review on mathews chill plz
Brandon, who makes that release you're using? I really like the knob to cinch up the straps. Maybe I could just buy the replacement strap to retrofit onto my Scott Little Goose 2 release?
Man that refine shot 345fps @29/70 350gr arrow on bowhunter planet review. That same review the Xpedition Smoke shot 339, but it was actually 28.5 not 29. But that refine was a smooth pull but was screaming. I’d love to have me a refine.
This past weekend, I shot my well-tuned Alaskan XT that I got so quiet that it was actually quieter than the Mathews Lift my friend was shooting on the 3D course, and I have two other friends who will attest to that.
What did you do to get it quiet?
@@fint8940I removed the string grubs and installed brass speed nocks with shrink tubing in their places. Then, I installed small cat whisker silencers in between the speed nock sets. And that's pretty much it. The string grubs create a lot of noise and felt vibration. Once they were gone, the bow quieted down and vibration was very minimal.
❤🏹🤞🏼🙏🏼
Gosh I wish that bow would go out to 31”
I’m just saying, I’ve never seen this guy and Vernon Griffith in the same room…
lol..I had to do a double take on both of them
