The truck doesn't look tan to me..The person who tod you it was tan in color obviously doesn't know what tan is. Im surprised that the battery didn't fall off considering that the way it was hanging down in front
Hi Dustin, could you give us more info on the locations. One time I heard you say that this was a typical area for accidents on this stretch. It would be great to know where that stretch of road is..
In this case, it’s the department. They say we have to take it to the yard before releasing it. Apparently they got sued for giving a vehicle to the wrong person, so now they won’t let us take it anywhere but the yard. Any other department doesn’t care, and we will haul it anywhere you want as long as you pay the charges at the drop.
Is having to haul it to the yard instead of where even the owner wants it a state or county thing? never heard that before. First year towing so not sure if that's a thing or not, our state/county don't require that.
Nice work Dustin. So is up to the Towing company or the law when it comes to towing to the yard. Unless there is an on going investigation, I've heard once released by the officers you can have your vehicle towed wherever. Just curious
In this case, it’s the department. BCSO says we have to take it to the yard before releasing it. Apparently they got sued for giving a vehicle to the wrong person, so now they won’t let us take it anywhere but the yard. Any other department doesn’t care, and we will haul it anywhere you want as long as you pay the charges at the drop.
I enjoy the videos and what you do but the fact that a wreck has to go to the yard per official rules and cant be towed to my house is a terrible rule and does nothing but generate $ for wrecking companies and additional tow fees. Glad i dont live in Brazoria county what a scam.
Only the sheriff’s department does that, and it’s because they got sued for giving the wrong person a car. So now they have it go to the yard so they’re vetted.
Take our time? We didn’t shut the road down, the cops did. I was the first tow operator on the scene, by quite a while, and also the first to leave. I passed one of the other tow trucks coming in, on my way out. Even then, the cops had to keep the road shut down for a while, so that they could finish cleaning up, and the power company could stabilize the power pole the other truck was stuck on.
So there was a blue what looked to be medical bag left on the hood, and was there when you left……. Did that end up falling off? Cause it wasn’t there at the yard.
@@Towtruck_Dustin awesome I’m shocked they forgot it, easily missed given the situation, Have you ever thought about filing a complaint with that FDs captain since they give you so hard of a time?
Thats why rotation sucks! Too many moving parts complicate things. Its good for the tow company but bad for consumers! I drove tow trucks for several years under a zone contract.Much more efficient!
Nice job! Usually wrecks are somewhat easy to tell what happened from the aftermath, but this I have no clue. Edit: Judging by where the vehicles ended up and the damage to them, I think the tan GMC you picked up was going the same direction you were when the video started, and was turning left to the road where you originally pulled off. The gray GMC down in the ditch was going the same direction and started slowing down for them, but started hitting the gas again when the tan GMC started to go; I think the tan GMC failed to yield to the red Lexus and they collided head-on, the gray GMC didn't have enough time to react, hitting the back of the tan GMC spinning them around even more. This is just my guess, and could easily be wrong by the way.
Wow. That's some super slick Dolly stowage
I've never seen a civilian tow truck with red & blue lights, that's really cool. I've only ever seen clearly marked police tow trucks with them

No, because they got sued for giving a vehicle to the wrong person. So now they have them taken to a VSF so only the correct people have access to the vehicles.
Will He get His Flatbed back sooner than He got the Latch for the Flatbeds Toolbox?
Not looking too hot at this point lol
What where is your tow truck listen to shop
It’s at the dealership getting some supplemental work done. Should be back in a few days.
Hi there was a lot of damage
Yeah this one was pretty bad.
Great recovery. The blue bag tho ?
Put it into the bed of the truck and gave it back to the FD.
Seems to me it would have been much easier with a flatbed. Nice work, however.
Definitely would have been easier.
I don’t miss those hot days throwin Dollie’s 7 8 x’s a day
I don’t either lol I’ll take my flatbed over this any day lol
A cool job
Thank You!
1:35. "Ya ain't touchin' the other one" really dude... did he say he was? You just heard him say he was there for the tan gmc... its a wrecker.... 1 at a time.... lol... some people... *sigh
That’s the same Fire Department personnel that I had an issue with not long ago. So it’s not too surprising he had something to say.
The truck doesn't look tan to me..The person who tod you it was tan in color obviously doesn't know what tan is. Im surprised that the battery didn't fall off considering that the way it was hanging down in front
man great job on the cleanup the lazy ass drivers here in Las Vegas don't even carry a broom on there trucks!
It’s a requirement here. That’s one of the things you have to have on your truck to be on the rotation list.
What is tong with your truck ?
Getting some supplemental work for a previous (non-fault) accident a few months ago.
No longer work on the platform winch?
It’s in the shop right now
Hi Dustin, could you give us more info on the locations. One time I heard you say that this was a typical area for accidents on this stretch. It would be great to know where that stretch of road is..
This was on 1462 in Rosharon.
@@Towtruck_Dustin just saw where in TX you are, that must be hotter than heck down there with the humidity. Keep up the good work!
@@Towtruck_Dustin
copy that, thanks
Why do they require it be towed to the yard? When I was my wreck a few weeks ago, I wanted to towed back to my house and they were like OK.
Anyone else notice the med bag on the hood as he was driving away with the truck?
Are you guy’s allowed to run sirens or is it just red and blues?
Red and blues, facing the rear only.
No sirens.
Is having to haul it to the yard instead of where even the owner wants it a state or county thing? never heard that before. First year towing so not sure if that's a thing or not, our state/county don't require that.
The county had that rule for a while. Of course it didn’t take long for them to change it.
you have a car seat in your tow truck
My boss’ for his kid.
that one was pretty bad, hopefuly everyone is okay..
Nice work Dustin. So is up to the Towing company or the law when it comes to towing to the yard. Unless there is an on going investigation, I've heard once released by the officers you can have your vehicle towed wherever. Just curious

Channel terbaik ❤❤❤❤❤
I hate how y’all take your time when all those people in traffic have to be somewhere
I have been into an accident about 2 weeks ago and so my car was kind of undrivable after the accident so we fixed everything on it
Oh no. Glad you’re getting it fixed tho.
So there was a blue what looked to be medical bag left on the hood, and was there when you left……. Did that end up falling off? Cause it wasn’t there at the yard.
I moved it to the bed of the truck, and met with the FD to give it back.
@@Towtruck_Dustin awesome I’m shocked they forgot it, easily missed given the situation,
Have you ever thought about filing a complaint with that FDs captain since they give you so hard of a time?
If I had to guess, the guy and the woman that give me problems, are likely the Captain and his wife.
@@Towtruck_Dustin this is probably true lol
where is the flat bed at Dustin!?
Getting some supplemental work from a previous (non-fault) accident that happened months ago.
@@Towtruck_DustinAh I see
#wreckerlife
Thats why rotation sucks! Too many moving parts complicate things. Its good for the tow company but bad for consumers! I drove tow trucks for several years under a zone contract.Much more efficient!
Where are you going to take it!lol
Man...stay safe in the heat bro. What happen to the rollback?
It’s getting some supplement work on the rear axle from a previous (non-fault) accident.
Looks to me like the two trucks went head on, and the red car hit the back of the truck I towed.
