Like a guy who ran from us many years ago hitting 100 MPH on a city street but was not aware of the approaching blind curve ahead. He hit a telephone pole at an estimated 90 MPH by the traffic guys doing the report. CPR at the scene was useless. He was just a bag of jello at that point.
Squad 1 passed a lot of debris on the inside shoulder. He even hit a folding roadside sign assembly at 1:31, there were numerous hunks of tire, and two traffic cones at 6:15. Good reason to have a full-width bull-bar on the cars... Kid coulda shrugged his backpack off and popped his helmet strap when he was up... but nope. Too stupid.
I had only just started the video and was expecting this to end with a new smear on the road but your comment relieved that concern. The clown is lucky to be alive at these speeds. Especially considering how he is dressed.
@@Batou-ts9ri You're doing over 140 MPH in a busy highway, trying to get away from tons of squad cars.... doing speeds where ONE tiny mistake on your part could cause a giant chain reaction with injuries and/or death, to others and yourself... but all of a sudden you remember civility and decency & so you request officers accommodate you, when they risked life and limb to catch you? People just have a really distorted view on reality, without an ounce of care for themselves & other human beings next to them...
The kid had a clean record so all this was for traffic violations. Adrenaline junky cops, so pumped up to speed down the road putting everyone's life in danger for "speedy bike" They obviously had the plate # and could've been waiting for him to return at his residence. Pathetic, dangerous and unnecessary.
I once heard an officer say that speeding motorcyclists are a self correcting problem. If that guy keeps riding like that it's only a matter of time before he is dead.
@spikespa5208 Yes it is because in almost 100% of the cases the rider was speeding or weaving through traffic. Those cars that turn left in front of motorcycles? That’s because the driver thought he was going 35.. not 50. The driver who cuts the motorcycle off? The motorcycle wasn’t there a second ago when they shoulder checked as the rider is weaving through traffic.
I give you guys down south credit for keeping your highway shoulders clean and clear. Try driving on the shoulder at 140mph in Pennsylvania and you're gonna hit a whole tire or full car bumper within the first 100 yards.
I noticed the same deal on the Interstate between Georgia and Alabama two weeks ago. Semi/big rig tires, bumpers, exhaust systems, whole/dismantled vehicles/etc... It's a damn shame because it looks like they pour an awful lot of money into maintaining the trees and grass in that area.
They weren’t on the shoulder going 140. The narrator just happened to state that was the top speed of the chase while the video showed him on the shoulder. He was probably doing around 70
What impresses me most is how far the officer was able to drive down the shoulder without there being debris, construction signs, some abandoned vehicle, whatever. In Vegas, you couldn't drive 100 yards without plowing into some damn sign that road crews left out from work that's been "active" for months but hasn't actually been worked on in weeks. That or a giant gator-back that some semi left behind.
yeah, moral of story is don't run from cops on superbike in Arkansas cause police have nothing better to do and nothing in the way to stop them from catching you. 😂😂
As a motorcyclist with almost 20 years of riding experience, if you run from police and you run from them on a highway, you got 90 seconds to take an off exit before you have no escape option. Only 2 things will happen after those 90 seconds, you either get caught and go to jail because you run out of gas or you wreck and go to jail or unalive yourself due to that wreck.
Yup. That’s pretty accurate. Usually you can get through traffic like that and gap the cop car enough that he can’t see you when you exit. But that cop was rolling. The kid needed to go a lot faster and split lanes. If you’re not running 160+, those cruisers will stick with you on the highway. Take an exit and get to a curvy back road, and make a lot of turns… then park it somewhere and hide til it cools down. I’ve had to wait in the woods for hours and hours several times.
@@travisfletcher900 I'm from the UK and we have some quick cop cars, but that cruiser seemed to be keeping up with the bike on the acceleration, pretty impressive - do you know what car it would be? In the UK the advice is just to stop straight away - a lot of UK cops are bikers, and if you act all apologetic (weather was sunny, roads were clear) you will often get away with a verbal warning; I've been pulled a couple of times for being over 30mph over the limit and had no comebacks. Act like the guy in the vid and run though and yes, they will throw the book at you.
He prob had a camera on his bike for tiktok or some shit.. We should def keep an eye on his case to see if the footage comes up in his court appearance as evidnce.
Cops have a job. They have no reason, and it is not in their job description to get angry at people. They catch them, hand the info to the crown or pros attorney, and the courts decide the penalty. It is part of a system. Cops have no right to dish out penalties of any sort, whether they are angry or not. It shouldn't make a difference. If it does, then that person should not be a cop.

You have to stick to crimes like fraud, give an excissive about of tax money to a friend, the state police will not even blink an eye, you have a traffic violation and they will hunt you down
Former LEO. Chasing a motorcycle on a crowded interstate is reckless. Endangering everyone else on the road just so you can have a good adrenaline rush isn't being responsible.
Yeah. But there's a bunch of videos of cars n bikes doing just that. There's a white hell cat video he outrun the helicopter which was a news copter helping the cops n it was low on fuel. A freaking fantastic video.
I was at a car show and the cops had a plane and police charger there . We were just looking at them and the cop asked if I thought I could outrun him, I looked at my wife and looked back at the cop and said, "Yep but I can't outrun that radio, so I don't drive like that". The cop asked what I drive, and I said a f150 with a little done. He looked at me and asked again, and you think it will outrun that and pointed to his car. I said yep but not the radio. He got pissed and walked away. There is a time and place to run that fast and it isn't the highway full of innocent people.
When he asked the officer to turn off the ignition on the bike my thought was . . . " Don't worry about it kid, you are never going to see that bike again."
That's BS. It's his property. He has proof of sale and proof of ownership. He may never be allowed to legally ride it again, but it is his property. The cops have no right to steal it, or destroy it like they did with the helmet. That was purely malicious. He was cooperating at that point. Either we hold cops to a high standard of behavior in all cases or don't be surprised when they abuse their authority on us. Cops have enormous powers granted them in public trust by the state. My friend bought a fast bike when I was in the service and I was impressed. I was planning on buying one also. A couple weeks later he avoided a car and hit a bridge embankment at 100 mph. I've never owned a motorcycle since
@scotte3838 I think we see more motorcycles speeding just because most people can afford a sport bike that performs equal to or better than a Ferrari, but most people can't afford a Ferrari, Viper, Gt, etc.
I retired from L.E. way back in 2008 & even then smart Agencies had VERY strict rules on high speed vehicle pursuits... especially motorcycles. They realized that every second of every pursuit puts lives in danger & that the need to apprehend the violator MUST outweigh the risks to the innocent members of the public, the Officers involved, & the violator. A 140+mph pursuit over a minor traffic violation is INSANE... especially when it's a motorcycle. Unless the guy is a professional stunt driver the odds of them crashing & dying are close to 100% & it's simply not worth it over a traffic violation.
I'm also retired LE and I think you're wrong. The clown on the motorcycle is threatening the public with a deadly weapon and needs to be stopped. Don't be a pussy...just be good at your job and nail him! Obviously, you have insecurities about your skills.
As a retired commercial driver I don't think that officer understands how dangerous it is to just stop highway traffic like that. Nothing puckers your ass in a 40 Ton truck going 70mph than suddenly seeing traffic stopped with no warning right around the bend. Pileups happen that way.
@@gravdigr27 exactly...& even in the adrenaline rush of a pursuit there is NO way I'd freaking pull out of the median and try & block assorted vehicles traveling at highway speed like that 🤯🤯 Not only does it look suicidal, but as you observe, it's incredibly dangerous to the public. That adrenaline rush is precisely why modern Agencies require that a Supervisor who is not involved authorize or terminate all vehicle pursuits.... Because the stresses involved absolutely require an objective decision of whether or not the need to apprehend the violator outweighs the risks to everyone involved. My former Agency rethought their pursuit policies after an innocent bystander was killed. Good move on their part, but it was cold comfort to that poor guy's family. He died over a minor routine traffic violation that he wasn't even involved in.
Dude, the cop wasn't doing mental calculus in order to reduce the velocity and alter the trajectory of the rider for a soft landing. He just blocked the shoulder at the point where he could intercept him, and the rider got lucky.
On top of that jeopardizing the lives of all the people in the oncoming traffic plus almost killing the rider. This was just a stupid and extremely dangerous move… Only in Murrica…
You MUST live in a shithole... I've NEVER seen an alternator or a battery in the breakdown lanes in my 35 years of driving on a MAJOR freeway 5 or 6 days a week for 25 miles each way.
@snaeshaads8203 I'm sorry that happened to you. Watching this video, made me realize how my decision to "get some speed on" could affect my life in a negative way.
Dude thought he was going to off-road back onto 430 but didn't realize that over pass is for a train track below with a steep drop-off down into it. It's just past that brush he stopped in front of. He had no choice but to stop or seriously fuck himself up.
He didn't have the treads to get back on anyways. I overshot a curve once with half-knobby treads on my adventure bike. On a grassy surface, even the slightest change in direction of the front tire means you're going down.
@@PontiacProductions They key word is mandatory. Many courts will just shake their finger and tell them to not do it again. I agree that these pursuits need mandatory jail/prison time.
Um... no? It doesnt always come with suspension of licenses, as some courts simply release the suspects regardless of guilt or severity. Recall some judge releasing someone for weakness driving and didnt suspend their license, and the person ran over two teen girls that same evening... what they are saying is more to enforce actual punishments, instead of trying to be more lenient and just send them on their way with POSSIBLY a slap on the wrist.
could you imagine just going somewhere, maybe home or work. Listening to the radio, trying to unwind and a motorcycle blows by you with troopers in pursuit? Trying to get out of the way without endangering anyone. When I was young, it looked like fun, but now it looks like a recipe for disaster
Going to work a few months back, sitting at a red light, I watched a truck fly through the intersection easily double the speed limit, followed by a dozen Emergency vehicles. At first, I thought it was an unmarked vehicle. Nope, some dumb a$$, apparently tried purchasing some personal female time online only to show up to federal agents running a sting operation. Just take the fine people, the driver that day ran for over 20 miles across state line, ended up killing someone's dog for what? Avoiding a solicitation arrest?
But you all got that "keep your lane" system. For good reasons, by the way. But it is an open invitation to lane splitting at crazy speeds. For a biker lane splitting is quite safe in the States. In Europe however, it does kill you within two days. In Europe you NEVER play the interstate like a checkers board. You ride the fast lanes. The left ones. What else? When you see this speeding bike, maybe it is a good idea to start the discussion to kick "keep your lane" into the garbage container? Just asking!

If combined, that's roughly 6 years in jail + $13,000 fine + licence suspension + points + community service + vehicle impoundment. But of course we know that ain't gonna happen.
Yeah, but he's also a relatively smart rider. Running from the police isn't smart but he didn't outrun his line of sight. If he wasn't sure if he had room, he slowed down. A lot of riders have died by not anticipating things like that. This kid did it while under the pressure of a police chase. I've seen a few emergency service responders make this mistake. Heck, the move the last cop pulled could have forced a more reckless rider into a fatal crash.
Mostly pissed when their authority is questioned or ignored. On the ground and cooperating but still had to tackle him and ruff him up. Excessive force easily.
Amazing how these people are so obsessed about details (phone, bike ignition, backpack straps in this case) but care nothing about endangering everyone else's life. What an arrogant, cocky one.
@@jonWilk8156 hilarious how the cop worshippers cant see that. Only the guy running is endangering lives somehow none of the cops chasing, no matter how many, ever endanger lives. This is why I wish prosecutors would make those felony charges stick. This guy should not be able to own a gun in the future, and he should have a good reason for not repeating this behavior.
In 2003 I tried something similar on a ninja 900. Saw a cop on the side of the highway, gunned it and tried to flee. Got about 20 miles down the highway when I ran into a rolling barricade of 4 18 wheelers and about a half dozen state troopers. At that moment I realized you will never outrun a radio. Don’t ride anymore, sometimes I get the itch but I’ve taken care of too many victims of bad drivers to want to get another bike. Just wanted to share. Have a good day.
How is it that when bikers get on their 2 wheelers their brains stay behind? Maybe some demons are going along as passengers on the bike taking over control.
No massive pile up when in this case the cop cars were gradually prepping the traffics to slow ways down so the drivers all became very aware of the situation and can making all the safe stops.
@cockyhemi-123 yeah, they sure did. The biker was just looking for a chase, and the police happily gave him one, endangering countless more lives than if they had just let him go
Yeah, theres also a POTENTIAL for a figure from outer-space to come to Earth and be able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, but i dont see it happening any time soon....
@cockyhemi-123hardly. The cop spent 90% of the pursuit in the emergency lane, where no cars were. With lights you can see a mile away. The bike did the most dangerous thing you can do on the road, other than the speed, which is passing on the right and lane splitting. Your tendency is to pull to the right when scared or confused, and that bike didn’t hat to about 500-600 cars. A car cannot see the bike at the speed it was traveling, until it’s too late. Now in the end, the biker would have died more easily than the car rider, which is fine, it’s an accepted risk the biker took so it’s all part of the game, but I’ve seen an accident where a bike did kill a driver, when his body ejected through the side window. The helmet kicked the car driver. I’ve run twice in my life in a car, long ago, and I’m 1-1 as far as escaping. But I never did anything that endangered others, never on a road this busy. I don’t play Russian roulette with other lives, only my own, you have to accept dying as part of the game, which is why no sympathy if I died, or when others do. 🤷🏼
I once reported a car for driving with a 4 foot by 8 foot piece of plywood on the roof with the driver holding one side and the passenger the other side. I gave the car color, told them which freeway, direction and location I saw it. They asked if I had the make and model and suggested they might not be able to identify the car if I didn't know that.
@@djmindroler69 Oh yes. The same police force said they couldn't do anything about a car in a retail park car park that had 3 completely bald tires because it wasn't on the road at that moment.
In their defense, traveling at those speeds, you wouldn't hear the sirens for very long before they are passing you. Maybe if they have that "rumbler" thing added to the sirens, but it is surprising how quiet most sirens are at a distance. And vehicles these days do such a good job with noise canceling or shielding that it makes it really tough to hear a siren until it is right behind you. Just recently I had a EMS suv behind me but I had no clue because I was jamming out to some good tune and couldn't hear the siren, it was the constant bursts of white in the flash pattern of his lightbar that finally caught my eye.
Its Not that they're oblivious, Most of them myself included can go decades without seeing blue lights behind them, Let alone blue lights coming up behind you going 100 plus miles per hour.

Squad 1 passed a lot of debris on the inside shoulder. He even hit a folding roadside sign assembly at 1:31, there were numerous hunks of tire, and two traffic cones at 6:15. Good reason to have a full-width bull-bar on the cars...

@spikespa5208
Yes it is because in almost 100% of the cases the rider was speeding or weaving through traffic.
Those cars that turn left in front of motorcycles? That’s because the driver thought he was going 35.. not 50.
The driver who cuts the motorcycle off? The motorcycle wasn’t there a second ago when they shoulder checked as the rider is weaving through traffic.

shoulders in the midwest are clear, shoulders in the south are filled with carcasses of burned down cars.
I had the exact same thought. Here in Washington/oregon. Homeless camps, trash, and crash debris EVERYWHERE
In New Jersey he's going to hit somebody passing on the shoulder!

90 seconds. Got it. Thanks!
Yep. If you must evade, the drill is turn turn turn turn HIDE! Running decreases your odds and improves theirs.
Exactly!
Agreed, this whole chase was really poor judgement.
@@gravdigr27 exactly...& even in the adrenaline rush of a pursuit there is NO way I'd freaking pull out of the median and try & block assorted vehicles traveling at highway speed like that 🤯🤯
Not only does it look suicidal, but as you observe, it's incredibly dangerous to the public.

I can't believe the cop drove straight across the freeway and stopped the traffic, the potential for a huge rear end pile up was massive.
@cockyhemi-123 Bingo

Weirdos. 😂
The amount of cars completely oblivious to lights and sirens behind them is horrifying to watch.
