This accident happened in a bad spot in a construction zone, where accidents happen frequently

Nice one Dustin. Don't be shy in asking the cops to move. I find it's usually the Fire Dept and Ambulance that just plonk themselves in the middle of a scene in the middle of the road because they don't have to worry about access or traffic control. The other tow truck operator should be grateful for you help!!
I sure make them move. Most of the time, they park right in the way 🤣

Hard to believe that he didn't know about the factory tow point, oval slot. Anxiously it hasn't been towed before. Just push the rubber plug in, and put in the mini j hook. I wish that I was still in the business. I miss it. Never the same job or call.

Do they normally call multiple recovery companies? Where Im from, there is like only 2 companies and they are never in the same area together. Just wondering.

Yeah we go by rotation. So each unit (vehicle involved in the wreck) gets their own wrecker unless the owner requests there own.

Not very often lol I’m on call 24/7, and also our lead driver. So I’m pretty much always working.
Good of you to help the slide bed driver to load, how do they allow inexperienced recovery drivers to attend a police call out.
It doesn’t give great confidence in the company.🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Unfortunately it’s impossible to learn everything on your training period, as we run 24/7 and we can’t always have our trainee drivers along. So some situations you just have to feel your way through.
I still learn new things, and have to adapt to different situations every day.

I generally get to do the training on our new drivers, which I enjoy. If I can help someone learn a new trick that can help them in the future, I’ll gladly help them if they’re willing to learn.

Dustin this past Sunday there was a bad accident on 95 here in Pelican Rapids Minnesota a semi VS motorcycle & I think a few cars too but saw the road all marked up here and saw were it look like the semi truck went off into the ditch and down the hill . I Don't know much about the accident just what I saw from passing the marks on the road .

@@Towtruck_Dustin well from what I read the semi crossed over the lane and hit the motorcycle killing the driver . What I read it didn't happen on Sunday but this past Wednesday.

Where I'm from if its a 3 car accident the same company gets all 3 cars
Yeah, a lot of places are like that. Down here each unit gets their own wrecker, unless they request a specific company.
