Have the same car same color(CGK)Limited 2019! They are a great car!!!
where did you get the cross bars and the roof rack?
Thanks for the video. I have a 2019 also. Its been a great car. will need tires in about a year and a brake job before that.
Thanks for the comment! New tires are the next upgrade for my Subaru as well! The original tires are definitely getting towards the end of their life after 5 years.
Tell the cameraman/hubby to stop talking in YOUR video. LOL! I'm curious where you put the switch for the front lights. Did you use a oem switch in one of the empty spots, or install a different switch somewhere?
Just a suggestion going forward: don't spend money on mods just for the look of it. Unless you do a lot of off-roading and really need the clearance, don't bother with a lift kit. The Crosstrek is pretty capable as it is. For occasional off-roading or camping, start with a set of good all-terrain tires and a solid skid plate. The skid plate will be worth the price the first time it saves your oil pan from a rock.
I have a 2020 Impreza Sport hatchback, which is pretty much the same body as the Crosstrek. I recently drove a 2023 (maybe 2024?) Legacy that has the new huge center display and I wasn't impressed. You lose the tactile knobs for the climate control, and the screen tries to show so much that the "buttons" and icons are just as small (seemed smaller) as they are on the 8" screen in our cars.
Shameless plug for my buddy's podcast: Check out the Subie & You! podcast with Rafael Ruiz. He's been putting out a weekly podcast for about 3 and a half years, with a strong focus on the Crosstrek and overlanding. Lots of amazing guests that share great advice and experiences in regards to modifying the Crosstrek.
Thanks for the comment! We installed the oem switch in one of the empty spots for the lights. We do a lot of camping and outdoorsy things so I love the functionality of the mods as well as the look! And I’ve considered getting the skid plate too. Definitely not a fan of the huge center display in the newer Subarus either. I’ll have to check out that podcast too!
