Great job saving that table from the trash. Now put a coaster under that cup!😂
😂 I got that comment A LOT!! Thanks Steven!
The table is beautiful. And the flipper isn't too hard on the eyes either.
🥰
I've been alternating watching all the videos with getting my housework and other projects done today. I admire that, between highly complex pieces, and simpler pieces, every one of you treats your trash with respect, and give these poor pieces all of your skill and attention to detail. proving they were never really trash to begin with. thanks for a lovely day well spent.
Thank you!!
These videos are addictive 😊
I am stunned that the top came so clean. It looks new. Nice job!
Your table turned out so nice! I was surprised to see that dark stain to come out!!
The thin gold bars and twine was an interesting touch and added a nice extra to a plain table
I’m proud of you my friend 👌 great video, very nice job and I’m glad you’re showing your face 😉👏👏👏
Thanks Jay! I have learned a lot from you 🙏🏻🙏🏻 I’m going to watch your video now!!
Oh, yes, we're all glad every time Anders shows his face 😊
That is a great face. Love the table. X
But he dosen’t want to get a cat 😢😂😂
I love the teak stain finish. It was nice to see something other than walnut.
Beautiful Transformation! The brass knobs are absolutely stunning!! ❤
We grew up calling that style "Danish Modern". My mother had an almost exact table. The tables she had did not have the lower shelf. I was astounded that the huge black stain came out. Great restoration!
Same here, in America, there was a popular store called “ House of Denmark” my mom bought many pieces of furniture there!
Cool! I did not know of that. I don't know where my mother got hers. Probably a garage sale in the 70's here in Texas.
Thank you for watching 😀
You took the very sad, wobbly table and gave it a wonderful new look. Fantastic!
Thanks Cindy 🙏🏻
That’s nice that you came out of your comfort zone and did something a little bit different because it turned out great.
Well done👏👏👏
Thank you so much for watching 🙏🏻
Only one other repair/restore person I watch with any consistency is Thomas Johnston and now you! I like the work you do and the calming effect you have. I subscribed. 🏆
Thank you and welcome 🙏🏻
I like that you show that a wonderful transformation can be accomplished in a humble area and with a few tools.
Thats my thing 🙂 Thank you for watching!!
Im sure a quick wipe over with pledge would have sorted it! 😂 Great job!!
*From TRASH to functional 😮...and getting the water stain out with oxalic acid was an unexpected miracle. Cheers‼️🥳😍*
Thank you!!
@@midcenturyflipper *My pleasure‼️💯😉*
The intro was so funny, you barely touched the table and it just fell apart!! Thank goodness for oxalic acid!! You did a great job !!!
Thank you for watching 😀
I can’t believe you got that stain out! Oxalic acid for the win! 🙌
💪🏻💪🏻
Wow! I was amazed at that water stain being gone. That acid stuff really works. It turned out really nice.
Adding that rope shelf gave it a totally different style. Nicely done. ♥️😊👍👍🌟
Thank you! A really fun project and challenge!!
Wow She looks great for a 56 year old table! I graduated from High School in that year! Love your work and your accent!
Thank you for the kind words
Hello, I would like to thank you for your amazing video on restoring the old table. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that this table was made many years ago in my country. Your meticulous work and the care you took in restoring it truly touched me. It was incredible to see how you managed to return the table to its original condition and preserve its value. Thank you so much for your effort and for taking such wonderful care of these old pieces. Your work is inspiring, and I deeply appreciate it. I wish you much success in your future restorations and look forward to more of your videos.
This comment really made my day! Thank you 🙏🏻 I will keep posting more restoration videos for sure. Best / Anders
This piece turned out much better than I expected. The shelf brought my opinion up several levels. Great job!
Thank you Paula 🙏🏻

Beautiful refinish! I also can’t believe how well the oxalic acid worked. It’s looks brand new with function added. Great job! 👏

Oxalic Acid rarely disappoints with black discolouration. Nice save! 😊
Agree! It helped me with a lot with my restorations. Thank you for watching!!
Your outdoor work table is also a thing of beauty.
Wow, miracles really do happen!
Wow! I can't believe how well the oxalic acid worked! That was a massive water stain, and now you can't even tell it was there. A beautiful restoration. I'm not crazy about the rope shelf, but I agree that it's good to try new things. Your video work and staging are excellent. Love all the ambient sounds, and your own lovely voice.
The acid reallt worked like magic! Thank you so much for watching 🙏🏻
Wow what a difference. Beautiful job!!
Thank you
Great job on the water stain. And I love the rope-idea.
Thank you
Fabulous job❤
after all of that
NO COASTER!
😍😍😍

I got to say that the quality of your videos, your filming and your work is stunning!
Thank you for sharing.
That comment made my day! Thank you for watching 🙏🏻
I like the rope shelf, it will not gather dust, one less thing to clean :)
A beautiful transformation, what more can I say? 😀
Thank you 🙏🏻
That giant stain was so bad it looked like a portal to an alternate universe! Well done on the restoration.
😂 Thank you for watching!
This turned out really great. The color is spot on and the brass rope magazine rack is a good idea. I think the rack elevated this piece.
Thank you for watching!!
That was a funny beginning…lol….glad you saved it and gave it its beauty.
Thank you 🙏🏻
from trashy to classy fabulous job, Anders!
Thank you 🙏🏻
Beautiful job! Love the magazine rack. Amazing that you got that stain out. Beautiful end product. Congratulations
Thank you for watching 😀
That oxalic acid is some great stuff! You did a wonderful job on your piece. Challenge accomplished!

A very, very nice result, Anders. I can't believe you got rid of that horrible stain 👌

Linda
Thank you Linda 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Incredible job on that large water stain! The rope shelf is inspired! Sometimes small and simple can be saved and made beautiful!
Thank you 🙏🏻
@Midcenturyflipper great job on the stain removal
Gorgeous results!❤
Thank you 🙏🏻
Fabulous. Looks brilliant. Great idea with the brass and rope👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
Thank you for the kind words 🙏🏻 It was a fun project!!
Wonderful! Such a surprise and just delightful!
Thank you for watching!!
Anders, that table was on a wing and a prayer. You seemed to give it some new wings and a lot of prayers. It looks beautiful once again. Joyce❤️🙏🇺🇸
Thsnk yoy Joyce 😀 It was a good rescue!! Take care
Really good
The magazine shelf is very clever. Great result
Thank you!!
This really turned out great. I must admit that the oxalic acid surprised me, too. Thank you for the time lapse of it working.
Excellent work as always, but dude...coaster!!!! 🫣🫶🏾🔥
😂 I know!
excellent job, and I love your creativity in adding the magazine rack❤
Thank you for watching 😀
😮 the brass n rope makes a lovely difference
Great job on getting those awful stains out.
Beautiful and spotless … love the weaving hammock thingy…
Thank you
Well done. It turned out really good. 😊😊🇦🇺🇦🇺
Thank you!!
Really loved the rope detail. It made the whole refurb really stand out. Cannot believe you got that stain out. Beautiful work! I'm currently binge watching the rest of your vids and subscribed!! Nicely done!
Hi and welcome! Glad you enjoy my videos! The latest one was a challenging but fun project 😀
Amazing job! So glad the acid worked exactly like you always hope it will. And the Magazine rack of rope was a great touch. The piece looks classy, classic and very comfortable with the rope added.
Thank you for the kind words 🙏🏻
I think the brass rods and rope will add some stability. Those bolts they use always come loose. Forever tightening them. The brass and rope may take out some of the micro-wiggle (new word) and keep the nuts from loosening so often.
That top came out amazing.
Thank you 🙏🏻
Amazing work! That oxalic acid is magic. Great video saving this piece 👍
Thank you 🙏🏻😀
The restoration on that table was fantastic, as far as the wood pieces went. The rope shelf? I would look at that and say "Anything I want to put there is going to fall through". A tight weave would have made a great shelf.
Agree! Not my best work but worth a try 🙈 Thank you for watching!
Impressive getting that stain off the top. Loved the rope shelf idea too. When you first showed your piece, my first thought was it needed a shelf. Funny you ended up doing one. You all had unique and special ideas on your projects. I give 5 stars to all for effort, choice, and results. ❤😊
Thank you for the kind words 🙏🏻
Så snyggt. Kul med en möbelkanal från Sverige
Tack! 🙏🏻😀
What a beautiful transformation. 👏 Great job!! I really like your innovative magazine shelf…bravo!!
Thank you so much 😊
AWESOME RENOVATION!
Thank you for watching 🙏🏻🙂
WOW! that is so very very amazing, great job
Love the teak stain! So beautiful ❤
Thank you
Beautiful work. The hemp idea turned out nicely.
Thank you!
WOW, that turned out beautifully ! Nice idea with the string shelf - looks great. Good luck with the challenge. Take care :-)
Thank you 😊
Nicely done. Lie the rope touch, a little unusual for today.
Anders, the table is just so dang nice. Like really really good. Better hide it, coz I'm coming for it. 😂
😅 Thank you! I’ll go hide it now…
Very beautiful! Love the rich wood grain!!❤😊
Thank you
That was perfect what you did to that table top. Love Teak as well. The rope touch underneath is so stylish.
Thanks! It was really a rewarding project to work on 😀
So glad you were able to get rid of the Rorschach test (ink blot) on top. But how could you tempt fate by not using a coaster for that drink?! 😉 But really now, that rope? That was so creative! Excellent job! Thanks for sharing
Thank you for watching 😀
Elxalent job
If I had to pick a winner out of all the transformations, from this challenge, I would be very hard pressed as everyone has done fantastic jobs
Thank you 🙏🏻
Fabulous video! Loved this restoration. More videos please 🙏 😊
I’ll keep them coming!! Thank you for watching!
that was a miracle, the removal of the stain
Agree! Love the Oxalic Acid! Thank you for watching!
What a beautiful coffee table it turned out to be. You also did some nice editing🎶
Thanks buddy 😀
Snyggt! Trodde aldrig att den fläcken skulle försvinna!
Tack! Inte jag heller… 😅
Amazing how you got that stain to come out!! beautiful and love your magazine shelf!
Thank you 🙏🏻
Beautiful work 👍😃 it is really worth it, restoring old furniture 👍
Thank you!!
I Wasn't sure the Stain Would come off. It Looked like a Face and if It was a Supernatural Creature Trapped Inside, It would be Impossible to get rid of. Imagine My Relief when the Oxalic Acid got It out! No Shaman or Priest needed! Really Well Done! 👹😱😏
Haha! Now when you mention it - you’re right! The acid did its thing for sure! Thank you for watching 🙏🏻
Great job! That shelf works really well.
Thanks Molly 🙏🏻
Fun fact: Back in the mid twentieth century when the style we now call mid century modern was in vogue, it was not called mid century modern; it was often referred to as Danish modern or Scandinavian modern. 😊
Nice work! And the brass and rope shelf is a great idea.
Thank you 🙏🏻
Great job. It takes special talent to see what can be. Congratulations. 😊
Thank you!!
Nice fix! Love the bottom shelf.
Thank you!
Nicely done! Looks brand new!
Thanks 🙏🏻
We had a similar table when i was a child, 1970 or so. Part of spring cleaning involved either my brother or i crawling under the table and tightening the legs with a little wrench!
It’s a small but loveley table. Thank you for watching!
Stunning!
Beautiful job!
I'm so glad the dark stain came off the top of the table! The idea to use brass and rope was brilliant and it complimented the table restoration very well!
Thank you for watching
