That little table is perfect in its natural state. The trim to cover the damaged veneer was a brilliant solution and gives the table a touch of whimsy.

The trim was a great idea to cover the damage. That green was a bear to remove. Jay was mean. 😉 Amazing job. I like the brass handles much better than the old wood ones.
