Is Every tough task a counter intuitive measure?! that is what the human mind wants to achieve isn't it?!.

I guess if it is something that we have developed over thousands of years to be good at, it is unlikely to be counter-intuitive... but if it is something new... our intuition may not be good at predicting the impact of our actions

I disagree with this one, Conor. "Living a rich and fulfilling life is NOT intuitive," you say. According to Dr. Roberto Assagioli, intuition is the ‘pipe line’ between our lower and Higher Self. Thoughts, emotions, feelings etc., are ‘Elements of the Mind’ and certainly not what we are. Intuition is not an emotional response. Intuition, is there for us to tap into the very highest of what we have inside.

Hi Arthur, I guess that Conor uses the word Intuition with a different meaning than Assagioli. I understand that by intuition here Conor means, what comes to you naturally, which often is not the inner wisdom as much as fears-driven reactions as he describes in the hedgehog example. We need so much more education on how we function and people would benefit immensely getting familiar with Assagioli’s work. We are much more powerful than what we allow ourselves to believe (out of fear).

Dictionary definition:"Intuition is the ability to understand something instinctively, without the need for conscious reasoning". Running, teaching.. are what we are accustomed to and we can do them even without thinking. I guess I would already be rich if doing business is like running.
