Looking back I've seen where a lack of this led to bad decisions, but from marriage to fatherhood helps to push back on lazy thinking once you accept the challenge. Good one Conor 👏

Thanks Conor. I’ve noticed the habit of journalling coming up in a a few of your videos. It would be great to have a post on exactly how you structure your thinking through writing. This could be through examples of some of the questions you ask yourself and the process you go through. Just a suggestion and thanks for taking the time to put all this great content out for free.

Great stuff, Conor. I notice when I'm tired (late afternoons and evenings) or just plain worn out, my thinking gets black and white and is usually very unhelpful.
My classic lazy thinking is falsely believing that because I didn't accomplish all 10 or 15 items on my to-do list, that means I didn't succeed that day.
I try to use my mornings, when I'm sharpest, to do that type of journaling you mentioned, and then I use that clear thinking and momentum to plan my day and take action.

Tiredness and stress really reduce our thinking

Thanks Conor ! Great thoughts to think about... again :)
That inspire me that "Freedom is also the ability to choose our constraints"

Dan Sullivan describes 2 types of freedom - freedom from and freedom to... "freedom from" is that you don't "have to" do anything... "freedom to" is the freedom to dedicate and commit yourself to a cause that is important to you

wow... now that is a whole new video in itself!!! good perspective... how to spot when others are living in fantasy thinking... I love it when people say "no" or are conscious about their capacity (skill, time and motivation) to deliver on their promises

i can't stand when youtubers say "quit your job". Well, are they going to pay my bills? I agree, Incrementalism is the way. I know people who have told me for years what they'll do, and i tell them to just let me know when they do it, and stop telling me about it. They get angry at me, but the fact is that they never do what they said they would.

I tuned out when you used a casino owner as a positive example. Exploiting other people's vulnerabilities and gambling addiction is not my idea of a positive role model.
