I have owned 2 cars on this list (97 z28 Camaro and currently own 2001 Mustang Bullitt with a procharger) both great daily driver fun cars. If I was to buy another car from the list, it would be the 350/370 Z Car. But the one you missed that I would buy first...another Z car the 300ZX
Somehow I knew the 350z was ganna be on this list before I even clicked on this video
Rx8 as a daily is the worst thing you can do...
Hello. Love your content. You should do a full size sedan cheap series.
I would also add on the Mitsubishi Eclipse (2G and 3G). Very cheap and reliable, look good, motor is very moddable
The 3G isn't really moddable, is it? I mean, you can mount a 4G63 in it since the GS (3G) shares the same or similar mounts but its really expensive as shit.
I'd probably do that to mine if it wasn't all rusted to shit.
Finally someone said it! The Z3 has the looks over the Miata!
It really does
I mean.. it is true!
I almost cried when I saw someone FINALLY put the Z3 in a video
I mean it shoulda happened two years ago when they were still $1500......
@@TerpTalkGarage 🤣 I have a not-so-secret love for the clown shoe. Maybe this gen will be a future project car on our future channel, It’s Not Pronounced VAGuh.
I remember like 3 or 4 years ago you can find a 350z for 3k here at Washington
I like the consistency between videos, in one you mention to AVOID RX8, and in this one it is a daily driver.
As an 86 owner I’m blown away to not the frs/brz/86 twins here , 205 hp and rwd with the best looks imo
375 miles on the Jeep and it ALREADY has a check engine light...
good luck getting to 1k
Actually, the RX-8 also had options for a 5 speed manual, a 4 speed automatic, and a 6 speed automatic, though the 6 speed manuals are the most common and the automatics have less horsepower
The automatics have a whole plethora of downgrades on the RX-8, not just losing 40 BHP.
@@bluspectre2042 yeah but there was no point listing them in my comment
@@connordyck2305 not to mention the automatic in a rotary car is pointless because half the fun is revving that fucker out to 9500 RPM and if I'm not mistaken I'm pretty sure the automatics were programmed to shift at 7,500 rpm
@@kartaku132 exactly, the automatics were limited to lower revs because they didn't have a strong enough automatic transmission to let it rev to 9500
>sports car
>automatic transmission
pick one
Especially in car like RX8.
3:28 Forza Motorsport 2 was the only Forza I ever played very many years back and I still remember that 350z by heart
Yeah, I love the z!
rx8 is the best option if you have extra cash for an engine swap, k series, ls swap or a 1jz vvti is prefect.
If you want something fun, look for something with lots of after support. The easier it is to work on, the more fun you'll have
My RX-8 was a manual, but they did come in AT too. The AT was downrated in HP. But it was still available in the US.
My brother got a 2003 new edge mustang with 83,246 miles for wait for it, 6500 DOLLARS! It drives like a beauty, and I’m proud to say I’m going to be the next owner. No problems, and amazing at drifting. Absolutely beautiful car.
Love how you included the RX8, trying to build up the money to buy one of them.
86/BRZ/FRS ALL DAY EVERYDAY.
The solstice is timeless the design held up great
While you guys are talking about german american and jdm i prefer a volvo 850 r which has a turbo stock and it is a sleeper and it might be a perfect daily and i found a few with 5k only,do you agree with me?
7:18 used to have an rx7, it was fun while it lasted, but it just sat around because the tabs became expired and we never renewed them.
The Toyota 86/brz/frs should of been on this list
Thing is you can’t get one for under $10000, at least here in California
By watching too many Scotty Kilmer videos, I know wouldn’t agree with half this list lol
by working on enough cars I can safely say I don not agree with like 80% of the list
The Pontiac Solstice also sold as the Saturn sky, the Third Generation Opel GT, and the Daewoo G2S.
i got my rx8 for like 9k with 93k km with an new rotary ( changed at 88k) and i love this car.. hello from germany
I see that you added the Solstice GXP and Sky Redline! They are one of my most favorite sport cars on the cheap. The Solstice will be easier to find over the Redline. I like the look of the Solstice over the Sky. Because the Sky has the look of a mini Corvette and if I wanted the Corvette look, I would just get a Corvette! Solstice is very unique looking and you will not mistake it for anything else!
Just thought of another car to add. The Crossfire especially the SRT6. Only thing I don’t like about the SRT6 is you can’t get it with a manual! While you can get a base with a manual. How stupid is that!
No VW GTI? I love mine. Turbo fun hot hatch. Was less than 3k.
What year?
@@jonah.mcminn 2003 1.8 turbo. Has 150k miles.
@@ericsartanahorner thanks for the response
I’ve had a lot of reliability problems with mine but I have a 2010 gti but I’ve had to put 4K+ into the engine in the past year maybe less
Bro this cars are amazing😍‼️
Rx-8's could be had with an automatic from the start. Surprised, your stats are usually correct.
So, I'm 6'6" tall. Which of these cars has the most leg & head room, or is there another you might recommend?
None they all are very small, you could get any of em just need a custom job for the seat like other tall dudes
corvette
definitely not the rx8, i'm 5'10" and barely fit in mine
BRZ/GT86
Yes
Finally! The Solstice GXP gets its due! I saw one on sale with 40k miles on it and my jaw hit the floor. Such a beautiful car.
Ok so what web site or app that can get you those kind of deals?
14:39 look at that malaprop though
you missed the frickin amazing car, the toyota's spiritual successor to the ae 86, the gt 86 and brz{ not the new one, that's a gr, which is a pain because it destroyed the idea of a cheap, soft engined, affordable, reliable Japanese small car that you can drive to the college and take drifting and also do amazing lap times.
Both are expensive
Camaro on the list!! I have a 97 z28 port/polish heads & intake manifold, long tube headers and a few other free mods :) and for something with more space I have a Stratus with a 2.4T Srt4 motor ;)
Had an rx8 loved the car but only problem is got to make sure the you don’t flood the engine
11:47 "Quattro awd" 🤣
wish you mentioned Audi TT's more, especially the MK1 :(
Everyone always forgets about the GC8s but we’re “relatively” cheap cars to come by! The coupes are on the rise though 😋
I drive a 1991 Miata that I bought for $4k (w/ 48k miles) featuring a 1.6L engine with a 5 speed trans in silver color. And I gotta say, I am one happy dude.
Make a video on armored vehicles
Vid starts @2:05
The 350z is my favorite. I wouldve liked the rx8 the same as the 350z if it didnt have like the 60,000 miles and replace problem
I think I would go for the 350Z or the Pontiac Solstice, those were sweet looking cars
noti gang
miataaaaaa

Notification gang
love from India Brad.
i got extremely happy when he mentioned the Solstice lol
we need more solstice fans ngl
Really helpful video thxs 🔥
14:30 @nightride 14:34 the miata isn't beating the MALOO
Mustang GT is the most reliable V8 easiest car to work on when warranty goes out.
You are a person of culture I see 😌
@@derrickkmartin4037 Yes I am, and and Ferrari's are the most reliable in Italy 🇮🇹, Aston Martin, and Lotus in Britain 🇬🇧 (I know 2004 Elise, though American 🇺🇸 it is the 5.0, and a proper 6 speed manual transmission. PP2 with Brembo Breaks and the Magneride Suspension, doesn't lean on hard cornering or, dip in hard breaking. ( Like putting 2 positive facing magnets 🧲 together you just can't, and won't bottom out either.
Another very reliable acura/honda are the 07-08 TLs mine pushes 268 to the wheel stock and theyre amazing 6 cylinder vtec engine
Any websites to find cars like these fir fairly cheap? I know I can go to auctions but any other options??
mazda speed 6 be like bruh
just recently got a 2010 rx8 for $7500 and its been so nice
i just recently bought a rx8 for 2500 not running but got it running for under $300 fun smooth car
I love my 03 Acura RSX Type S with intake, stage 1 clutch Hondata chip it’s been my daily driver for about 8 years. In that span I’ve also owned a modified 2012 Infiniti G37x, a stock 2017 Subaru STI and currently a single pulley 2012 Audi S5 Cab and I still think the RSX is the funnest car to drive out of all of them that’s why I’ve kept it all these years. It’s also so reliable only thing I’ve done for the 40k miles I’ve owned it is brakes, stage 1 clutch and since clutch master cylinder went i swapped that and the slave one to Ktune performance ones. I also put in KYB struts but they weren’t needed I just wanted better handling.
Brad: The VQ is pretty much bullet proof as long as you don’t turbocharge it.
HiLow: Wanna see us struggle for 4-5 days trying to shove spooly bois into our 350zs?
This video is kinda cringey ngl.
"veelside"
"That VQ Engine..."
Idk. Too much overexageration
The Pontiac Solstice doesn’t have many places to buy parts… I was looking at it but they’re (parts) apparently expensive and they have a lot of issues.
I like how he started talking about a high Reving Honda luxury car than showed off a Pontiac
Hyundai Genesis coupe is a great choice the 2.0t is just over 200hp and the 3.8 has over 300hp. I got my 2010 3.8 for $8,400 with only 73,000 miles I’ve had no problems with it and it’s a great and fun daily driver very disappointed it wasn’t mentioned in this video this car is heavily slept on and it’s sad
Ayo ultramotive gang wya?
RX-8 is a really cool car. It has one of the best interiors, where a guy like me(6'3" tall) can sit behind himself without any problem(unlike in mustang and RX-7 FD, I tried, it hurts), it is very comfortable, but there are lots of chemical agents on the road in winter in Moscow, so I prefer to keep it in a warm place until April, and then have lots of fun. Rotary isn't a problem, I keep it in good condition, but with sanctions it's a bit harder than 2 years ago
I actually paused the video, got my Doritos out, and started snacking for the Mazda RX8 portion 😅😎
